have people from all over the world amazing all right so we're going to be going over Facebook and Tick Tock ad questions so feel free to start dropping in your questions hi Rima Morocco that's pretty cool amazing everybody's all over the place if you're running Facebook ads Tick Tock ads have an e-commerce store Legion business what are some of the questions y'all have what are y'all trying to do achieve are you running into problems are you trying to figure out a new strategy are you looking to scale when to know when to scale a product well if it's profitable for one you want to make sure your product's profitable if you're getting a good cost for result a good return announcement with your Facebook or Tick Tock ads and it's been longer than seven days and you're starting to see consistencies then essentially you want to start scaling from there but there's a lot of different types of scaling one is just upping the budget the other one is actually reducing the amount of ads you have and focusing on specific audiences and ads and that can also scale you up by getting you a lot more purchases and you always want to scale gradually if you scale way too quickly you're just going to decrease your results in most cases everyone talks about scaling but people don't talk about when to start scaling it's a good point yeah absolutely so I mean like the right time to scale always comes down to timing in terms of profitability if you're seeing consistencies if your results are always fluctuating heavily then like if you're going to scale you just got to go super slow with it we're talking about less than 20 percent every four to seven days and if you're really aggressive you could do 48 hours but you're not going to see as good as a result over a longer period of time more horizontal scaling has worked the best for me in the past yeah that makes sense as horizontal scaling is essentially anybody who doesn't know it's just having different audiences with multiple budgets create more audiences you're going to end up spending more money anyways how can I grow my Tick Tock followers organically and Target the Right audience yeah it's a very broad question it depends on what you do you want to test at least five different video Styles go in your Niche type in a hashtag on Tick Tock go find the top creators in your space look at the content they're creating and then create content where you're knowledgeable in specific topics in your space and make sure to edit the videos similar and install how the top videos are performing so down to the cuts the music the text being used and then use the language that you would use in your business to present it hey I have a budget of one thousand dollars what's the best platform should I choose Facebook it's low barrier to entry five dollars daily is all you need to start a thousand dollar budget is okay to do on Facebook I would not recommend Tick Tock ads for that what attribution setting is the best one for tick tock and Facebook ads that's a good question there's multiple attribution methods you can go with I mean there's seven day click last 28 days then you can have lifetime to track your ltvs then you have first click which is the first touch point if somebody purchased versus last click there's a lot of different attribution models I'd sign up for search.com to understand which attribution model is going to be the best for you but essentially the main two that you really need to pay attention to are going to be last click in terms of which was the last touch Point somebody came from and then you're going to want to look at the overall Journey so essentially if somebody clicked on an ad they've been searched you on Google they then clicked on a retargeting ad there's three different spots they went to before purchasing that's the biggest factor to pay attention to so that way you know what ads and what contents actually helping them move along we're going over your Facebook and Tick Tock had questions for the day make sure to comment them down below we're gonna be answering lots of questions I always use CBO with no targeting on Facebook with three creative sing copy but there's always one creative that just pops out of the other two I won't do anything that's totally normal if you have a creative that's working really well and the other two don't have spin don't worry about it if it's getting results Great leave it alone you don't have to turn off those other two credits you don't have to force budget to them if you're absolutely dying to know and really want to test it just duplicate the audience change the audience add in those two ads without the other one and you can run it but at the end of the day Facebook's going to know which ones are best so it's best just to leave it alone which platform is best for a coach it's hard to connect with my audience on Tick Tock well I can assure you Tick Tock would definitely be a good starting point you got to know it depends on who your audience is and what you're trying to curate and go after with them you want to provide value as a coach like giving as much free information as possible and then also going over main problems they have walking them through the baby steps you can do this on a whiteboard you can do this on you know a green screen going over very simple things for people to understand that can go and get a lot of views and once you build up your audience you can start to have a lot more call to actions around getting people to convert High School ads with a consistent CPA yeah I mean all you need to do is just really raise your budget by 20 percent every four to seven days what is a good budget per ad set on Facebook ads when starting the testing process five dollars daily is perfect if you have say you know a ten thousand dollar plus budget for testing then five dollars daily is going to be too low you're going to want to be close to like 10 to 20 daily but if you are just starting out five daily is totally fine you can do a lot of testing with multiple audiences at five daily any tip on what kind of creatives you use to advertise aesthetic streaming for lip filler yeah absolutely I mean you can make tons of videos around with your clients going over the process what it's like to go into the office and walking them through what to expect around the treatment how many days it takes how many hours going over the benefits what it looks like before and after there's so many different ideas there I would especially go search this up on Tick Tock just literally type in lip filler and you're going to see so many different videos that you could model and start posting what metrics to look at when scaling on Tick Tock and Facebook to analyze profitability yeah your return on ad spend I mean if you're if you're an e-commerce business and you're tracking your row as you want to know what your break even Roxas is so you need to calculate your break even so that way you know what's profitable above that and then anything above your break even row as is scalable you can just keep scaling that's the quickest way to do it Tick Tock can be absolutely amazing for you audience targeting for tick tock ads you want to do interest groups and you want to have at least around like 10 to 15 interest selected or at least three broad audiences you want a really broad audience on Tick Tock because they're always fluctuating then hashtags you want to have multiple hashtags those are going to be the two primary then have a broad audience which is no targeting at all then you can start to test with lookalikes once you have tons of cells coming through I mean we have a lot of people who are launching ads right now and just crushing it with just the standard broad interest audiences a lot of it's going to come down to creative how much is your Facebook ads course it's 495 or 497. Tick Tock is banned depends on where you're located best Facebook testing strategy for now yeah I mean like it's testing strategy on Facebook is fairly simple just separate your interest have at least five different ad creatives and copy and keep it very simple run it for at least seven days if you get purchases and it's profitable keep those turn off anything that's not and then you just go know how many have you how many of you have plateaued with yourselves how many of you are scaling by the day in terms of sales volume not just your ads but actually making progress in terms of 30k 50k 100K months and consistently growing or what's the bottleneck that you're running into detail targeting or let Facebook algorithm find people definitely allow Facebook to find people you can have the expanded audience checkbox going you definitely want to allow the algorithm to work in your favor because what's going to happen is if you choose an audience the targeting is first going to go after that audience you select it's going to go after different clusters of that audience and then as soon as you don't get any cells or no results or I can't find a person to buy it's going to go outside of that if you don't have that turned on then you're just going to miss out on potential purchases so it does definitely help welcome everyone who's just now joining happy Friday we're going over Facebook Tick Tock organic questions how would you progress if you started from scratch I'd focus on branding I'd focus on my offer the offer is going to be the biggest thing I mean your website could be the worst it could have the lowest conversion rate your ads can be horrible but if the offer is just absolutely incredible where everybody buys because you have no competition because it's such a good offer you're going to be able to scale significantly but yeah first branding then your offer obviously you need a good product to sell that actually solves a problem or is or people actually want and then your ads make sure the creative is in line with your website make sure you have a good conversion rate then you want to do a lot of testing to find out what creatives are going to work videos and images and then have Tick Tock videos going as well I mean if I was to launch an e-commerce store it probably wouldn't take long to get to 100K maybe two months especially if there's a whole month dedicated to just preparation how much have you earned this month good question how do you advertise a product that doesn't solve a problem but it's a huge wow factor give me an example name a product what is a huge wow factor I mean clothing doesn't necessarily solve a problem but could be a wow factor because it looks amazing or new design that people really want those get amazing return now it's been especially drops in scaling I mean we have so many clothing brands that are doing 50 to 300K months it's unreal then we have other clothing brands that are absolutely just cranking million dollar months no problem at scale all it comes down to is just being able to fulfill on the products at that point once you get to a certain point with your Facebook Tick Tock ads and they're just working so well it honestly just comes down to Logistics like how much product are you willing to scale up to because that becomes a huge issue a lot of people don't pass that 100K or 300K mark because it's all supplier issues if you don't mind could you review on my Tick Tock ad scripts and your opinion what's the perfect budget to start with on Tick Tock ads twenty dollars per audience always start with the lowest Budget on these things so that way you don't waste money that's the biggest thing you want to start with a low budget and also your creatives need to be good before you launch them and you need to have multiple different variations if you launch with just one creative and it doesn't work well you have nothing to fall back on if you launch with two creatives and they both have the same copy and the copy doesn't work well you've already stunted your growth immediately because if the copy doesn't work now both your ads are stuck with it you need variation what's your opinion on digital products yeah digital products are great they have high profit margins they're very scalable but you need to be able to position it as a product as if somebody is receiving something of an organic social media management agency I work with large Brands and Brands I'm getting burnout as an organic it's 24 7 grind thinking about starting a course personal brand any suggestions absolutely definitely understand where you're coming from with managing a lot of accounts and potentially encountering burnout the biggest thing to do there is if you're thinking about starting a course and like leveraging your personal brand do what you're doing for them start building up value giveaway you know strategies that you use for those clients start talking about how you're helping them it's actually going to benefit you because more people are going to want to work with you and building a course can be quite a big task to take on and not everybody's really successful at it and there's a lot of Bad actors out there the best way to do it in my opinion is taking it step by step not trying to launch everything at once or trying to map out the entire thing from day one what you want to do is like release maybe one module a week and make sure that module is absolutely incredible and boil down to the most important stuff there's a lot of fluff out there and you want to be very simple what is it that people need to use how can they do it how can they execute it and what's the quickest path to the to the result you want to make sure people get results immediately as quick as possible so you got to give all the good information up front in a very short amount of time clicks first clicks and Views what is the best one to look at or trust the most row as return as band cost per Purchase cost per lead cost per schedule call those are going to be your guiding star metrics everything else outside of that falls secondary or becomes a pulse in terms of trying to figure out where the problems are if you have a low click the rate let's say below one percent and your sales cost per result or row as is very low then you likely have an ad issue if you have a really low click-through rate but you have an amazing return now it's been in great sales I wouldn't even worry about it but does that mean there's room for opportunity to increase the performance of your ads by launching a creative that does have a hard clicked rate absolutely do you want to do that not necessarily because there's probably other conversion metrics you can pay attention to that need more attention like your website conversion rate if you're less than a three percent definitely room for improvement we have clients at eight percent Shopify conversion rates anything related to a conversion rate on a website is one of the quickest ways to essentially turn on the faucet and get a lot more cells let's say you get one percent extra I don't think you realize how much one percent actually adds up you have a hundred people you know coming to your website and you're at a three percent conversion rate and three people are buying for every 100 well I mean if you get an extra person and you start scaling that out it's going to make a huge difference in your sales long term and it doesn't cost you anything what did you say about burnout there's a lot of things that go into burnout but um I mainly didn't really talk about the burn outside I was talking about the what you can do on course creation not overloading yourself in terms of trying to execute everything at one time that can be very overwhelming you want to piece things out and do it in little bite size segments so that way it's easier to digest especially when you're doing big projects I think you've been quite successful and made a great name within my industry for social media management just haven't put any effort into my own socials yeah I wouldn't overdo it definitely don't have to have everything figured out up front what you can do is just focus on that one post one piece of value and just always be looking at the you know what's that one thing you can do for the week or for the day that you can put up always start small you try to do too much too soon then it can be overwhelming if my Tick Tock campaign that sells or the cost per click is over a dollar but the click-through rate is like two percent what should I do depends are you getting purchases oh yeah you did okay great if you're getting sales and it's profitable leave it alone above a two percent is good on tick tock I mean a dollar is fine that's totally fine all that matters is if you're getting purchases and making results then everything else is just like you know a secondary metric how do you focus on work depends on what stage in the company I'm in there's a lot of different factors that go into that focusing is a big thing one is making sure that you're not on social media or like consuming too much content actually planning out your day in advance know what your big projects are there's things you can do like bucketing here's a good strategy for focusing on work you make buckets of what's the biggest value thing you can do and then what's the lowest scale value lowest scale value would be say you know answering a support related question or just basically improving grammar on a website that is a very low value metric but a lot of people spend time doing those types of things and then say A medium value metric would be posting on social media to generate new clients yeah it's good but it's still medium value metric because you've got to spend some time doing it a really high value thing would be focusing on team focusing on negotiating big projects coming up with you know next month's plans what you're executing redesigning or launching ads those are big value metrics hiring people those are going to be you know things that'll move the bar tremendously so you gotta like bucket things and add you know an actual value to them to know what makes sense to do Facebook and Tick Tock ads are huge value add so those are things that once you get them working you don't have to touch them a ton and they can just keep running and once you have that system going you just operate that system systems is probably the biggest value add the more systems you can Implement to make things easier on people to manage it's going to be way better for you you'll be able to scale significantly all big businesses are built off the back of of systems a lot of checkout with no purchases it's a website issue means your shipping is either problem takes too long or they don't have shipping information two you don't have a refund policy or information on how to return the product or it could be sizing if you sell a actual piece of clothing people don't know the size you have a size chart there's so many different factors for why people might not purchase it could be because it costs too much once you actually got to checkout could be misleading information where your ads were actually telling them the wrong thing could be that when they visit your checkout page and enter in their address it doesn't ship to them or it doesn't convert currencies there's a lot of different factors that go there so it's going to be somewhere around those few factors the biggest thing I'd look into is making it easier for somebody to one receive the product shortening the shipping time giving information around shipping make it easier for them to track give them a special offer and then also make sure if it's something to do its size or if they have questions around the product then you definitely need to adjust those things how to deal with blocks and Tick Tock ads I'm from Brazil I mean there's so many different things you can do they're not all the best but I mean you could use vpns you could have somebody from an agency create an account in whichever country you're trying to run ads in like the US and then use that account that's where it's created your openview gives you focus your open view gives you focus or distracts what is your open view what does that mean how did you start out I started out in the space nearly eight years ago I was managing social media Pages doing posting on social media specifically on Facebook ads for a pool builder they wanted me to run Facebook ads and I didn't really know much about Facebook ads at the time but they're like hey if you know how to you know manage a social media page maybe you could do Facebook ads so I started running Facebook ads back then they didn't have video view campaigns there's no such thing as a look-alike campaign and the conversion pixel was like so early on in its stages that tracking was just like not very good at all but I started out there and ended up booking them out for two years for a luxury pool builder use that as a case study helped another e-commerce brand selling wallets get acquired for multiple seven figures then did that a couple more times with a few more Brands a lot of Brands I've worked with end up getting acquired over the years because they just get to such a stable Point those are always great case studies so leverage those start an agency start a training company start a software company all these years later and we have tens of thousands of clients now what did you make last year that's a good question how to get your mentorship for creating an agency like yours I used to have a mentorship for this we discontinued it because there's so many things that go into starting an agency and so many different factors and there's a lot of different ways you can go about it and client acquisition case studies are such a big thing for people to use to be able to land clients if you're truly interested definitely give me the word Mentor we're happy to help guide you on the agency path if you're interested in it for sure budget for testing on International Drop Shipping on Facebook ads same budget as always when you're testing five daily it doesn't matter which country you're in convert that that's what you need to test with it's a very small budget very low risk you don't want to waste money how many ad shots should I be testing Mariah I'm just starting out I would do at least five different audiences broad interest Facebook pixel does not have any information yeah five to ten and you're gonna have to give it time fresh pixels take a lot of time you might not see any sales for seven days a lot of times it comes down to one you need to just have a good offer and honestly if you're not making any money might sound crazy but just lower your price on your product so significantly that people just are willing to purchase because it's such a good offer build up the data then raise your prices back up and you can now you know effectively test your ads it's going to save you more money because if you're spending all this money on testing a brand new pixel brand new product all this stuff and you're not getting purchases you're going to waste more money just trying to get that to work whereas you could just drop the cost of your product get a bunch of purchasing and then raise it again we did that in the wallet space before too my conversion rate is .04 do you think it is because it is a digital product now if it's a point if it's 0.4 it needs to be higher than that even digital products can be three five ten percent digital products could actually be way higher there's a lot less friction around it you need to make sure it's more productized and understanding that you need to get more information around the product highlight what they're receiving make it in bullet points that's very specific how much money do you charge for your mentorship do you want access to our mentorship and learn more about that then definitely DM me the word Mentor so that way you can book a call with our team to see if you qualify open view means like open grass View on your left or your desk long empty land Open Sky oh yeah I mean just to show you it's easier not to get distracted when you're just around a bunch of land um but the city's literally right here in the other direction but I like to not have a lot of distractions around me when I'm working which Market is best to advertise on EU or the big five I mean for tick tock EU is definitely the easiest one to get results on super low competition Incredible cost per result I mean every EU client that's based in Europe or the UK running ads it's incredible they're getting like 10 cent cost per click crazy purchases so easy to scale so I mean if you sell there it's a big opportunity for sure on tick tock do you have any Booker resource recommendation about branding branding is a really tricky subject you either like you have to have an eye for it you have to understand what goes into it what there's so many factors in into branding I don't have a specific book but actually you can look up uh building a brand or building a story brand that's a good starting book actually so never mind I do have one how do I get it higher like I just said you're going to need to deliver more information thank you for the five dollars I appreciate it if you don't mind check my last question ancient Cosmetics thank you currently using 400 plus ads on Facebook should I continue to increase creatives 400 plus ads on Facebook okay so you're spending quite a bit should I continue to increase creatives or stop and increase spend on current ads that is definitely a great question so if you have 400 plus ads there's a lot of ways you could go about this if it's because you have a lot of products and you're launching launch at different offers and you're getting people to buy that makes sense but honestly I would focus in on what's getting the highest return on ad spend start consolidating some of your testing now if you have a drop strategy where you're releasing products all the time that's totally different but if not you have like three core winning products just focus on those and stop making edits don't even increase your spend just cut some of these ads and then only refresh your creatives in a testing campaign you're going to have a dedicated testing campaign for creatives to migrate them over into your other audiences once they're working but don't make any changes to your audiences or ads once you cut some of those ads just let it run for seven days look at it great let it run another seven days look at it great don't do anything then about three weeks in I'm not doing a single thing you're going to notice you return an ad spend your sales all of your purchases are up through the roof you've done nothing but only seen more and more profit that's kind of how it works whenever you're at Big Time scaled unless you do the more you make and then what you can do is after about three weeks you can start to scale and then you're going to keep repeating this process until you get to a point where you just can't handle the volume a purchase coming through and you need a bigger space definitely happy to answer more questions on that a lot of opportunities there you could definitely have a lot of opportunity or mentorship and would be happy to help you further there so feel free to reach out get to convert and the audience there like people like to think it's business it's professionals yes but the amount of time they're spending on those apps is still way less compared to Facebook you're going to find those exact same people on Facebook and take talk spinning way more time than they are there and they are actually comfortable with converting on Facebook and Tick Tock as compared to converting on LinkedIn even from a legion perspective because there's just something that's more personable about not being on that platform do you have any experience in white labeling SAS for your agency no we haven't white labeled any SAS for agency we've we're actually developing our own SAS what's the difference between Facebook ads and Kim not sure what you're asking what's the difference between Facebook and ads and campaign it's a weird question it's really great information thank you Jay appreciate that over 100 skus okay that makes sense yeah I mean if you have over 100 skus and you're releasing a lot of different products I understand why you have so many ads but I would still try to focus into a few specific categories definitely want to look more in there everybody keeps asking about Pinterest ads who's running Pinterest ads are you seeing results we're definitely not running Pinterest ads I can assure you if you're not making if you're if you're not doing more than at least like three million a year then there's not really a Reason to Run Pinterest ads I just don't see why you would like you can scale so much with Facebook and Tick Tock you don't even need Pinterest you really just need those two platforms Google Facebook Tick Tock those can get you to Millions a year no problem can you talk about Snapchat yeah Snapchat's good if your audience is there we have we have people who run SnapChat ads I would say it's a very specific audience for example like someone who sells roller skates that does really well on that audience really bright colors exciting products that are definitely more towards gen Z and a younger audience for sure stuff about culture that really helps on Snapchat and they have a very similar ads manager you definitely can see a good return that's been there and I would also say it's a big awareness play Snapchat's a big awareness play because people remember brands on Snapchat way more than they do on Tick Tock and Facebook believe it or not there's a really high brand awareness so if somebody sees an ad on Snapchat they're going to remember it so it's a great spot for retargeting too but all around like I said Facebook tick tocker and Google are going to be your big three anything outside of that is just a marketing mix that you add in I've skilled more on Snapchat than Tick Tock and Facebook yeah that's incredible yeah awesome Snapchat can be really good for very specific niches definitely I agree do you think it makes sense to advertise a viral Tick Tock video that got one million views only if it got sales we have clients that had a million views and they didn't get any sales and then they added a call to action and actually showed their products within the first three seconds and then they got another say 800 000 views on the video but then they had about five to ten thousand cells didn't make sense to advertise only advertise a viral video if it's getting purchases or lots of leads all right we're going to take one more question here our interests targets Dying by Facebook no not at all definitely keep using interest in Broad once you're at scale let's say you're spending like 400 daily and it's crushing it go ahead and launch look like audiences one to three percent those are going to be good for you add to carts and purchases to be specific by the way if you haven't seen the new YouTube video or if any of you commented on the AI video from this last week those two AI videos I talked about creating ads within 60 seconds with chat gbt it's a brand new YouTube video we just
