hi I'm miles Beckler and in this video we're going to cover how to create your first affiliate marketing funnel now this is literally the simplest and most basic funnel you can start uh we're going to start simple and we're going to add on complexities in the future videos to show you ways to use your own products or to create membership systems or talk about some of the more advanced funnels but right now I want to start at kind of Ground Zero it's the simplest marketing funnel you can create as an affiliate and it really is quite powerful I mean you could build an entire business based on this it's got all the components we need and all you are responsible for is driving traffic and ultimately building relationship with that traffic over time but what this funnel will allow you to do is generate income quickly so you can pay for traffic and when you drive traffic you have a good chance of converting some of that traffic into sales which will generate commissions quickly while you build the relationship with the rest of the prospects who didn't buy uh through your email list and your follow-up sequence now we're going to cover all of this in detail we're just looking at the overview one more time here uh but really specifically looking at the overview in a sense of what is the most simple funnel the most basic funnel you could set up and get cash flow coming in and get an actual online business started fast and this is it so let me move myself out of the way here and I want to show you the mockup of this so this is the simple affiliate funnel right here it's really composed you'll see there's three pages here but ultimately two of these are yours and one of these is from an affiliate so your responsibility is here on the optin page and here on the thank you page these are the pages you create in one of the two content Building Systems that we covered in another video or that you find at the resources link found in the description below now the optin page essentially what I've got here is a very templatized version there's no need for a ton of content on this page what you're trying to offer them is the secret to something right people get hooked in by the secrets anybody looking for a solution to a problem they have is very open to the secret to fixing their problem so the free we're going to be offering a free video that reveals the secret to whatever their biggest problem is in the sub headline which is the second area you deler your hook and your big idea we're going to talk about what the hook is and the big idea is here in a little bit essentially it's your one take on why your thing your widget your information your course your system is hands down the best there is um many people systematize their create systems around their ideas they're maybe not teaching anything new but maybe it's a 10day green smoothie cleanse a cleanse is not new a green smoothie is not new a 10day cleanse is not new but a 10day green smoothie cleanse is a big idea and then stating that a 10-day smoothie CLE green smoothie cleanse could solve a specific problem such as help you lose five pounds or create a measurable result you have a hook and a big idea right there I'm going to show you how to find this we're going to leverage Hooks and big ideas from the Affiliates so this is a basic opt-in page we're going to have them enter their email for a free video they're going to have an email entrance where they can type in their email and then they're going to click the submit button at that point they go to the thank you page and you'll create this page as well and the thank you page essentially says request received we acknowledge that they just requested something from us and then we prompt them to watch the video now this video here is going to be a video with you and it's going to be you thanking them for subscribing and letting them know that you're excited for showing them your excited to show them the secret that you revealed and all they need to do is click the button below to get the video now and you can talk more about the hook the solution if you want and I'll show you again how to get that but ultimately this is just a transition page right so after they opt in they go onto your email list then they hit your thank you page you now have the right to follow up with them via your autoresponder and when they click this get the video you actually embed your affiliate link here so when they click get the video they're actually clicking on your affiliate link and they're going to your affiliate offer and this is where they see a sales presentation that ultimately delivers the secret that they're looking for right so at this point they're getting presented with their first offer and this is when they have a chance to buy and if they purchase generally you'll make between 50 and 75% of the commission of the sale price so how does this work right let's I'm not going to go into specifically setting this up on these different pages right now what I am going to go into is how to get the content that you need to kind of tie this all together and again use one of the two systems that I cover in the resources link below in order to build out your web system but this is more of what do you put into that web system and if you're a coder and you get HTML you can build this I mean you could literally build this kind of a squeeze page thank you page in 10 minutes uh on WordPress with Thrive it's it's a matter of minutes uh with clickfunnels it's literally a matter of minutes so no matter which way you go you're fine um you just got to choose one and run with it learn it Master it so let's go ahead and get out of this and let's look at how we find our hook so again we go to clickbank.com and I'm going to go ahead and jump right into the affiliate Marketplace this is where we can find the products now if you haven't gone through my competitor research video uh look through the past videos on my channel here find the compe edor research we look at how to kind of understand the numbers here in in ClickBank even better I'm going to leave the fine products blank and I'm just going to search all products right now and this brings up all products and I'm going to search by gravity again we covered this in detail in a previous video but gravity just kind of shows a high gravity number shows there's lots of people making money with that product which means there's room for you to make money with that product because it means it converts the sales message is good enough to work for and right here you'll see the gravity on this first one is 224.50 that means over 200 people in the last I believe 30 days it might be 60 days have sold this product not one person selling it 200 times but literally 224 different people making theoretically multiple sales each this converts and interestingly enough this is actually in the kind of preview Niche that been going through with my others so let's go over to this sales page you have to amputate your legs today wow that's what the doctor told me as I lay in a hospital bed the blinding floresent so I'm going to pause it right here off the start now what I'm looking for in here is what's the hook right I'm trying to pull or extract the hook or the big idea from this video that I can use in my opt-in page now I'm noticing right off the bat this is starting with a story and it's starting with kind of a fear-based story I'm not really interested in listening to this right now with you um potentially if I was on my own doing research I would a little trick for you if you go up to the tab and you go to click X Out of the tab the odds are it's going to ask you if you want to leave the site this is called an exit pop and this means if I click stay it's going to take me to a written version of that sales letter now do you see how simple this looks this is all your opted page needs to be literally it can be this simple and what I'm going to do real quick is I'm going to scroll through because they're using story based marketing with a lot of fear right and I'm trying to get past that because I don't want to use that on my squeeze page but I'm just going to keep looking down here like C getting worse diabetic a stroke is almost a death sentence aha so I just found it so so I've just been scrolling looking at really these red sections and here he says or they or she whoever this is with this pancreas jump start solution that I'm about to show you you'll be able to reverse your type 2 diabetes sharply reducing or even eliminating your need for medication there it is this is the hook right so what you're able to say and this is what the video covers because when you use these sort of exit pops it's just saying I mean this is literally like a transcript that's been cleaned up a a little bit so for my opt-in page I would say free video reveals the secret to the pancreas jump start solution that can help you reverse your type 2 diabetes sharply reducing or even eliminating your need for medication fast enter your name and email below to get the free video at that point they see your video on the thank you page they click the view video button and boom you're take they're taken over to the sales video where they have a chance to purchase and actually buy the solution that they're looking for all the meanwhile you're building your list right so let me go back to ClickBank we're actually going to leave this time so that's pretty interesting now I'm going to look at the next one right so three-week diet we haven't talked about this in any previous videos but I'm just going to jump in on this um Affiliates making lots of money so this is converting right and you're about to learn the underground fat burning secrets of elite bodybuilders celebrities and fitness gurus who use a little known extreme diet system that literally forces your body to melt away one to two pounds of stubborn body fat every single day for the so this was kind of more of what I was expecting in the first video I mean they went straight to the hook they went straight to the big idea and you can even see up here they've got it kind of written out so you you're easily able to just capture this concept and this idea on your opin page and people opt in to learn the idea you welcome them with a video on your thank you page saying thank you I've got your email now go ahead and click the button below to get the free video and that's your affiliate link to this if they purchase this item you earn income right there you get a commission from ClickBank so on this one you might say free video reveals the little known extreme diet system that literally forces your body to melt away one to two pounds a day every day for seven days or you can even say Melt Away several pounds of stubborn body fat in just 21 days you could play with the wording and we'll even get to a point where we split test the wording so you're able to literally try these words up top versus these words and see which works now I'm going really really fast over this because I want you to see this in Action a few times I would watch the whole video this probably about a 30- minute video and if I was actually going to run traffic to this I would make sure they deliver that answer and they don't leave them hanging right so the way kind of affiliate marketing and these video sales letters work is they do teach you a secret and then the product is how to achieve the secret whether it's the meal plan the recipes the exercise plans Etc so they'll give the answer to the secret in this video and you just want to make sure that is delivered effectively because if you're telling them they're going to get a free something or other and they don't then you're kind of losing trust and credibility right up front and your follow-up marketing through your autoresponder is not going to be as successful so take the time and do this right watch through whatever one you're choosing for your niche in order to make sure it does promise as delivered let's do one more and see if we can find the hook on one more now again I just clicked X you can't see it it's out of the window I apologize um do you want to leave the site if I click stay it's going to take us to their written version and it even actually gives a discount offer but we found the hook before so that's all we really needed so I'm going to leave this now and we've looked at oh got a little pop up there we've looked at the first two and the third one wow it's diabetes again uh if you've been following the videos in sequins one of the kind of ideas I found through doing Niche research on um one of the past Niche research uh videos was this kind of idea of the diabetes Niche now I am currently looking at every product on ClickBank based on what is best selling by other Affiliates meaning what's working the best essentially two of the top three are in this diabetes Niche that's that's further reinforcing what we found with the past research if you haven't seen that video go check the niche research it's broken up into two or three videos it's really powerful to do the right research so can we watch this video and find a hook warning this video contains sensitive and controversial type 2 diabetes information that you need to hear the information in this presentation has already saved thousands of about two or three minutes maybe our team of doctors and researchers has worked for years to assemble this shocking medical data which allows type 2 diabetics to normalize sugar reduce neuropathy pain and be taken off all diabetes medications and Insulin injections it is so effective at controlling blood sugar that one study published by doctors from UCLA so now this video is a little more difficult for me to kind of work with in this very fast scenario personally I would rewatch this and I would write down what was covered in the last three slides because that is the hook in there it reduce it drastically reduces the need for this or that I'm not that familiar with this Niche it's not actually my Niche we're just kind of looking into it but we now have the date here showing up right within just three weeks so your hook is free video reveals the secret system to for type two diabetes and pre-diabetics to control their blood sugar and reduce their need for insulin within just three weeks as proven by UCLA doctors um I'm I'm just piecing This Together off my head again I would take very detailed notes of this but right there again three for three the the The Hook and the big idea is built right in at the I mean the first five minutes of the video and again disclaimer on this like make sure this video delivers on what you're promising right so write your headline on your opt-in page in a way that's going to truly satisfy their needs so when they do get to this point they feel like okay I opted into your funnel for the secret I got the secret thank you very much I appreciate getting you delivered on what you told me I am going to listen to you more because you've already helped me out once you might help me out more so let's go back real quick and take one more glance at the simple affiliate funnel I've created here this image so the opt-in page again free video reveals the secret to blank we pull this out of the video the sub headline helps deliver the hook and the big idea it could fit right here your opt-in page could literally be 1115 words it doesn't have to be a lot of content you're just giving them a video that reveals the secret 2 and then you take them to whatever the hook was from here um it's pretty simple to be honest and this is that's why this is kind of the the starting place so your thank you page that you let them know you always acknowledge at the top that you their request has been received right so because we're we're submitting a request so we want to honor that and say hey your request was received put a personal video here if you want to tell a little bit about your story in this situation that's fine I would keep this video here to under three minutes for sure I would try to keep them 90 seconds or less and if you've seen my videos or as you're watching you probably realize I talk a lot so for me to keep a video short is a little bit of a challenge but in this kind of a situation the goal is to get them to click here and actually click the video click over to the video because this is where you're affiliate link gets clicked and this is what sets you up to earn commission now in the video you want to be very very clear and let them know that the secret video you can let them know how long it is it's a 20 minute video and it's going to be presented the moment you click that button below so go ahead and click the button below that says get the video and you'll be taken to that free video that'll explain the secret right now and you want to call them to action from the video pointing down mentioning the color of the button and the exact words you use on the button so it's absolutely foolproof and as they're watching that video they're going to be like oh okay go down there click that button I see it it's very clear and then they take that next action when you have a funnel like this built you're able to pay for traffic into it you're able to pay for people to see your opt-in page and we're going to teach you how to I'm going to teach you how to uh split test your opt-in page to maximize your results you can split test your thank you page if you would like to also try to Max maximize your clickr results and you can even test what affiliate offer you're running so as we saw in ClickBank here for example there's the diabetes destroyer and then the diabetes lie now I would not test these based on the same opt-in page because they have different promises right the free video secret is different for this product as it is for this product so we don't want to use the exact same but what you can easily do and quickly do is create one funnel for product a create one funnel for product B and let your advertisements send traffic to both and you measure which one gets a better opt-in rate and which one gets better sales rate and after about a thousand click-throughs you make some executive decisions and one of those two funnels will be performing better than the other you turn off the one that's not performing very well and you focus in the one that's performing better and by performing better I specifically mean money in your pocket whichever one's making you a better Roi or return on your investment is the one you want to work with and that's just the starting point and we split test all of the copy and we make it better and better and more efficient over time so that's it right there in its in its smallest most succinct version this is the best starting place for a new affiliate and this is the simple affiliate funnel now some people will say well can't I just go straight from opt-in page to the affiliate offer or can't I just buy traffic and then take them all the way over to the affiliate offer and skip the whole opt-in part that's the danger zone right as I stated in previous video about my story um I was doing and that's called direct linking when you go straight from your click all the way to the affiliate page you can make money that way but you're not building an email list so you're not building an asset that you own and if you do make money it could disappear at the change of a terms of service from the traffic you're using or if they just change the offer or it could just all disappear and if it does you're left with nothing so that's why it's so important to build an email list because with your email list you're able to kind of have that asset of the email list now the reason for having the thank you page in the middle is so you're able to build the relationship with them that's their first contact with you personally they see your eyes they see you talking they see your video and that's you're going to be the one following up with them via email through the autoresponder sequin and you're going to send them broadcast emails in the future so they need to know who you are CU you're the one they're going to be a begin to know like and trust you are the attractive character now if English isn't your first language if you're not comfortable on camera we can use use actors you can go to fiverr.com fiverr.com and you can get a little video made for you uh you just write up the script kind of based on what we've discussed here but it's going to work best if it's actually you because authenticity and you being vulnerable and you being honest and sharing a bit about your story is going to build a relationship and again the money is not in the list the money is in your relationship with the list so at this point you can go go go go worst case scenario you mess it all up you delete the whole thing and you start over and you learn something on the way but you're ultimately going to need to learn one web management system whether it's Thrive theme Thrive themes on WordPress and their content Builder Plugin or whether it's clickfunnels which is a standalone software product it's a little more expensive but it takes the learning curve out of it completely so if you're not techy at all go with clickfunnels um I'm going to see you on the next video I'm going to illustrate a few more funnel options on the next video here uh on the next videos in the series because it's important for you to understand what the next level Beyond this is you're going to start here we're going to optimize this funnel but you're going to grow to some of the more um kind of advanced funnels because they offer more opportunities for you to generate more money you can get higher commissions you can get more money in your pocket
