foreign and I am the community manager for social media examiner and I think that the future of search is going to be impacted by social in the way people do their searching it's already impacting search with Google Plus in the way the results are shown but they're also going to be impacts in how our friends are recommending different sites I think that people are going to be doing more searches through Facebook and Twitter as time goes on and it's going to be an important part of anyone's strategy to come up in searches hi everyone I'm Sarah Robinson you can check out my website at www.fierceloyaltybook.com and I think the way social is changing search is that social is becoming search I think more people are using social channels when they want to search for something then they are using actual search engines hello there this is Mario Smith Mari smith.com at facebook.com Mari Smith social is impacting the future of search because Facebook has gathered an inordinate amount of data over the last five or six years or for one billion people and now they're overlaying search so it's all about who your friends are connected to all the photo all the data and you'll be able to surface any kind of content pertaining to the social graph and this is where social and search are becoming fused and becoming one hi I'm Beth Hayden from bethpaden.com and I as in terms of where a search is going and how social fits into it I think author rank is the biggest thing that's come in the last year or two and what Google is doing is trying to give credit to authors and content creators and be able to tie all their content into one place so if I Beth Hayden have guest posts on on lots of different sites and I've got content on my own site I get credit for that with Google and I can actually rise up the ranks as an individual instead of just as a website and all of it ties into Google Plus which is hello social is fitting in with search so Google Plus is going to be an important part of everything we do going forward as content creators if you're not already on it I definitely recommend you get on it and that you tie every piece of content that you do online back to your Google Plus profile so that's my quick opinion uh e Katrina Walter a social media strategist for Intel you can find me on the katrinawalter.com I I believe that social impacts um search in a lot of ways and one of them is if if you as a brand have communities solid communities uh active communities on multiple sites like Facebook like Twitter and other social sites you will see higher rankings on Google so there's a lot of a lot of great benefits in building communities up you know especially on sides the Google Google Plus that really impact the way people find you the way the way people search for information about you on your product so my suggestion is grow your communities build your communities and uh um and engage them hey this is John Loomer from johnlumer.com and the way I think that social is going to impact search really comes down to Facebook I'm a Facebook guy so Facebook Graph Search uh it's gonna completely change the way people are searching for things discovering businesses and eventually making purchases hey I'm Ricardo Bueno VP of Real Estate Solutions with copy blogger media and I think the important thing with social and how it's going to impact the future of search my best tip would be to start building your profile on Google Plus set up your Google author tags on your website start building your network and start building your communities engaging with people in circles and that's my biggest tip for search and social hey I'm Jason Miller I run the social media strategy at Marketo marketo's Market automation platform and I think the the future of social social and search coming together is super important for marketers to pay attention to because you know as Google starts to pay attention to relevance and social shares and plus ones and likes and retweets and whatnot and engagement with your content starts to show relevance it's going to play a much broader role in your your contents ranking and getting the edge above your competitors so that's where I think social and search are going to come together this year and I think that's the the future of content social emerging
