[Music] hello Mar newans with search engine Journal I'm here at sces in San Francisco with Brad from perfect audience in this video we're going to be talking about news feed ads Brad these in you tell me about them yep so Facebook started allowing marketers to retarget in the rightand sidebar about 8 months ago it's been very successful a lot of marketers are seeing great results huge Roi a few months back they opened up the news feed for retargeting and so now people can run page post ads in the middle of the news feed using their same cookie data and people are seeing two three four even 5% click rates on these ads it's pretty awesome how do you create an ad that works well within the news feed what are some tips great question so um these are link type page posts which means that you've got uh status update a 200 pixel x 200 pixel image and then a link headline in the description so we really encourage people to have that status update be conversational kind of playful and interactive you want to invite the the reader to check out your link and either comment or post something in response the people who really nail it who really speak directly to the audience not only are they getting clicks and responses and conversions but they're getting people sharing their ads with people on Facebook which is earned media for your placement you almost need to create a a piece of kind of a viral meme for the ad and then get those comments and that absolutely the more sharable your ad is the better the more bang you'll get for your buck because when you pay for these retargeted Newsfeed ads you only pay once per insertion in the newsfeed not for every impression that results afterwards so if you can really strike a nerve with a with an ad that uh uh uh really gets people's attention you'll do well if people want to find out more and contact you how do they do that they can come to perfect audience.com and send an email to Brad perfect audience and we'd love to check Brad thank you very much have a wonderful show thank you very much I'm maray NES with search engine Journal I'll see you next time [Music]
