I'm on a mission to find myself an Apple keyboard that I can completely destroy why stay [Music] tuned hey and I got it all right so here's the story lunchtime for prosper is getting closer and I want to redo the landing page that we have the landing page doesn't represent the new design all the new features and also we've kind of broaden the audience of proso from just proposals for designers to also uh video editors developers um and copywriters so I want to do something new and I had this idea the problem that we're actually trying to solve with Prospero is that people we feel like people hate to write down proposals and they get frustrated because they have to think how to sell and they hate the writing process so I kind of want to I thought how to express this frustration and I don't want to do the writing anymore so I had this image of just like taking a hammer and smashing a keyboard that you use to write to just really passionately see how frustrated you are with the writing process so I got myself actually a new Apple keyboard that I'm going to smash with a hammer I just looked up online secondhand keyboard and this is actually brand new and I I actually think this is better than my current keyboard which I spilled coffee on and some of the keyboards are not working so probably I'll just destroy my current keyboard and I'll I'll use this new one for myself so here's what I'm going to do I'm going to try to sketch out the wireframe then do the photo shoot for the for the keyboard design it and hopefully get it developed in web flow [Music] today all right so I have started by writing down what I need to communicate in the page then transformed that into kind of sketch of the wire frame of how I think the page would be designed and still the new keyboard works fine taking the old keyboard check out how yellow this is check out all the coffee that I spilled on it and that's why it's not working so well it's time to try to break it with a hammer [Music] it's all like all right let me take you through the photo shoot setup so I've placed it on a dark table and I really wanted I Clos the door so it will be completely dark and I wanted a kind of a dramatic lighting and I couldn't do it with this it was too flat so I used this flashlight kind of when I took the photo uh it shot the flash into this wall and got the lighting back from the wall let me show you the result so on the camera it looks pretty good I'm going to take it to the computer right now to see how it looks within the [Music] design each so real let me know just how you [Music] feel so I think the hero section looks pretty good that's probably not an image that you can find on Shadow stock or something like that anyway I got to go to a lunch meeting right now I know probably you think this morning is productive but actually it's very nonproductive because I had a lot of calls regarding the new version of proso and it kind of broke my attention span but I'm still hoping that I'll get back from lunch and be able to finish this at least the design aan here has the osmo what's the name of this Oso mobile Oso mobile that's going to stabilize the shot we're going to see if that makes the Vlog more beautiful [Music] all right so I got the basic structure of the page done not all of the design but I'm going to stop for today so I want to show you what I've got so far um here I have the hero image and then I have all the structure all I wrote all the text laid out the icons but as you can see uh the images are missing because I I want to create some kind of animated gif and something cool to kind of show how the interface of crosspro works and make this page pop and really cool but I just understood right now that it's going to take me hours and I got something that I got to do right now family related so I'm not going to be able to to finish all of this today so overall I'm not feeling like this day was super productive definitely wasn't like structur uh the way that I planned I had a lot of unexpected things that kind of took me off the project and I was I hoped that I could finish this but obviously this didn't happen so this is a project uh to be continued next uh next week I guess I promis Le or it will be ready today I hope it won't be bummed but uh that's just how things are sometimes hope you guys have a great day I'll catch you tomorrow [Music]
