worth like in their Market how much money they should be getting so let's try that I want to check it out and see how much money I could be making if I choose to get a job as a designer right now right so I've signed up with comparably and in order to see the salaries and how much you worth you have to give in your own data and I kind of gave them my data but I don't think that it's really represented because I only work two days a week and so I said I'm only working two days a week at $100 per hour and it kind of told me that I'm a bit uh lower than the average and I should be making around 106k which I actually make more but that's because I do freelance and project and other stuff what else do they show me senior ux designer most of them are making around 120k and uh let's see this is if you work in a bigger company you're going to get more money as a designer if a company has raised more money you're probably going to get more money what else is this creative directors make the most what is this is or well male female anyway I I think this is interesting um obviously it's hard to represent while I'm kind of outside of the system because I have retainer clients new school money projects money all sorts of income so I'm kind of not exactly in what they're defining but it's good to know actually I was expecting more than 100K um which means I think that my situation is good but it also means that you know a lot of the viewers here like ah you know my clients are Scrappy and they don't want to pay me money and I think this this checking out what your worth and comparably just means that hey look designers are making a lot of money these days and probably you can make it as well um you know if you really hone your craft and find the right client doesn't matter if you're in India or you know anywhere else today there are as many uh services that connect you with great clients no matter where you are in the world so it's always good to know what you're worth and you know find find the right client for yourself anyway this is today super hacktic day I'm trying to get done client work and new school work I'll catch you in a [Music] while okay it is 9:00 Tommy went to bed no out and I want to share with you some of the stuff that actually happened today so last two days I've been working crazy for my client I've shared with you last week that he's got like this crazy presentation this week so we really built like a complete dashboard that I've done in web flow and kind of really faked it so that when he presents it it will actually feel like it's already developed and all the screens are working so that was a super hard work I Al made great progress on Prospero I'm super excited the new version is going to be out super soon and it's really really good and the last last thing the super interesting thing that happened today I got a phone call from founder of a startup company that's been referred to me by another friend designer friend and she said she needs help with super urgent because they're launching their app in a couple of weeks and they need help designing um some aspect of the app iPhone app and they were really kind of stressed out on TimeWise and also budget they only had like 1,500 bucks which is not a lot of money I usually don't make project on this budget but I kind of she called and then I told her I'll think about it and then at the beginning I was like I'm not going to take it because there's not enough money and time to do it properly but then I I reconsider and I say wait if I can do it in one day just kind of make a hackathon out of it and try to compress it and challenge myself to do it in one day then actually it would be a good money for one day of work and it will be valuable so I kind of suggested did this to her that we make a one day hackathon and that I think we can achieve what she's looking for um we're going to work together brainstorm an idea then I'll go home and design it and sketch and prepare everything for the developers and she liked the idea so we scheduled it for this week so going to be working on it this Thursday so it's kind of like a project that arrived today already kind of made an agreement I'll send some kind of a contract tomorrow and uh so that's cool I'm excited about that anyway I'm going to rest a little bit right now
