Welcome to this week's SEO Rewind. Big news shook the SEO world this week: Semrush acquired Search Engine Land, one of our industry's leading publications.

When large corporations acquire news organizations shifts can occur, and sometimes subtly influence editorial decisions. It can lead to less critical reporting on objectives aligned with the parent company and more focus on stories that reflect their goals - raising some important questions that Jenise and Loren talk through.
