from idea to logo to landing page I wanted to see just how far I could get in the design process for a completely brand new project and within 60 minutes now to get started I used gpt4 to generate an entire business idea fully equipped with a name brand colors and a description of the landing page along with ad copy the name it generated for the business is called rekindle and it's a meal prep business for old people or senior citizens rather I wanted to design a real quick logo because logo design is fun and the idea here is to develop a simple leaf into a circle where it's sort of recycling or rekindling that excitement of making food or something now here I am in figma where I'm going to design this for desktop now import the logo and design a super simple navigation next I'm going to create a solid headline using the ad copy from the AI [Music] at this point I'm just experimenting with layout options for the hero section typically I find that it all comes together when I integrate an illustration of some sort that's where mid Journey comes in I issued a prompt to generate some old people cooking food in a flat 2D illustrative style now I love this one right here and will help set the tone for the hero section The Next Step requires importing it into illustrator and Vector tracing the rastered image and that way it can be used as an SVG [Music] right now I'm just trying to modify the SVG so that it will work well within the given layout you'll see me adjust things readjust things revert go back and forth which is just a process of Designing on the Fly [Music] foreign [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] to me it made the most sense to place the sub headline underneath the headline moving the window of the SVG up to the right that leaves just enough room for a nice juicy call to action button now for the three features the AI generated this orange background doesn't offer enough contrast for the type so I made it a dark purple so the tech setting on top can be white [Music] thank you [Music] I want another illustrative asset of some bread which I can then use to break up the section that I just designed [Music] finally I'm going to finish with just one more section as I'm almost out of time from the 60 Minute window [Music] after adding some icons and making some final tweaks this is the final result a business idea a logo design and a really solid start to a landing page all within 60 minutes [Music] thank you if you enjoyed this video check out designcores.com where you can learn UI ux CSS and more with my custom interactive platform that makes learning fun and easy
