all right what's happening YouTube okay we're on the Facebooks and the YouTube slightly weird camera angle situation here trying to be able to maintain eye contact with both audiences very difficult so I'm going to go like this possibly be slightly Shifty looking okay we're going to be uh pretty quick can y'all see the dude in the background over there Wasing the uh windows it's really weirding me out there's a dude right there watching the windows YouTube y'all can see it Facebook y'all can't see it um anyway all right so the for overwhelmed this is pretty simple and we're going to go pretty quick today because your boy Frankie's got a big day man wow all day class starts The Branding class starts at 10:00 I got a client call at 9:00 Flagship call today multiple more client calls a lot of activity um and that in and of itself can seem overwhelming so here's the thing I was uh speaking to a client last week good fellow by the name of Voss the boss Graham my man and Voss was like dude how do you stay focused um his challenge was he's got a lot of distractions coming in you know which is fairly common right you guys are on the same email list as I'm on hell you're on social media right now watching this stuff you know so how do you stay focused and deal with all the distractions and and further more deal with like all the ideas that uh your brain gives you because that's like the blessing and the curse of being the entrepreneur you know the blessing is that like we're very very creative people where's YouTube oh man here let me sweet I'll get this camera business right here in a minute that's kind of close yall kind of looks like I'm looking at both of you anyway so the blessing is is entrepreneurs we're highly creative people right like we're always wanting to make new stuff that's kind of in the DNA of being an entrepreneur and um the curse of being an entrepreneur is that we're highly creative people and we're always wanting to make new stuff right so you get an email or whatever and someone's like hey here's a cool uh business model Etc you know you're like oh man I'm going to try that you know next thing you know um you've lost Focus I only tell you this because it's like been there at least I've been there like a billion times you know what I mean I've done it so many times so I know how it is so we got Social Media stuff coming in right now uh you know constantly uh battling your attention you've got all these ideas that are coming into your head all the time battling attention and um you know you've got all these emails and stuff coming in text messages all this stuff so how do you like avoid freaking out and feeling overwhelmed or even if you don't freak out how do you avoid feeling overwhelmed and stuff it's pretty simple step number one is to allow yourself time to be distracted man that helped me a lot you know so if you like beat yourself up and you're like oh I got to focus I can't be distracted you know all that's going to do is make you like more distracted it's kind of like when you're like I can't have cake damn I want some cake you know what I mean so it's just going to make it worse so step number one is be like okay I'm totally going to be cool with being super distracted assuming I focus on two core missions uh and these are the two core missions that I recommend you focus on every day this works for me anyway so try it at least I recommend you try this who am I to tell you how to live your life you know so at least give this a whirl and see if it helps mission number one every day without fail fulfill promises right like you're selling stuff presumably so you got to like make good on the stuff you sell you know today I'm doing this for you it's live right now um qu till 9 I got to make good on some of the stuff I sold today all right I got a call with a client here in about 10 minutes I said 9:00 my man Chris Johnstone going to talk to him at 10:00 today I'll begin teaching the live branding class thank you to everybody who enrolled in that I appreciate it at 1:00 today I've got a flagship call for our Flagship clients a little power call with those folks and I got three more uh client consults this afternoon on Monday I do tend to lump everything together on Mondays so that's phase one of like all right make sure you fulfill on the Promises that's like the top priority all right phase number two of the thing you got to do every day and I would consider this a non-negotiable and uh I only would consider it a non-negotiable because I think if you do this every day you'll probably make more money and that thing number two to do every single day is to make offers right like broadcast your list or go on social or communicate with their audience or prospects or whatever and make an offer of some sort now a lot of times people think uh make an offer means hey give me some money which in some cases it does right like I'm about to make one for y'all right now watch this here's how to make an offer if you want to know how to make better offers and you want to create internet campaigns that sell you should get my book it's at Frank Kern book.com it's a pretty good book stuff this stuff and this stuff go here and apply to talk to me or schedule a call or whatever if you're a house painter and your sales process begins with giving someone an estimate then all you got to do every day is go to your Marketplace and go hey you think about getting your house painted call this number and we'll come out we'll give you an estimate and if you like it we'll paint your house if you don't we'll recommend some other folks that you might like better super easy now here's why people don't do this every day number one they overthink it like well how should you make the offer what should the structure of the offer be what's the best time to make the offer are people going to get mad at me if I communicate with them every day and all that kind of stuff and the answer is some people will uh but they ain't gonna buy anything from me anyway so who cares so that's the answer to if they're going to get mad at you the other part is if you're if you're worried about making an offer every day and um you think that it's going to saturate the list you got to understand that not everybody's going to see that like if you have an email list for example and you email the list today you're probably going to get depending on age and size of list and whatever what maybe 8 to 20% opens that means that only eight or 20% of those people are going to even see your offer that means that at at minimum 80% of those folks never even saw the offer so probably should make it again tomorrow same thing with social media right so I don't know how many uh people you follow on Instagram or whatever but uh I try to post every uh every day you know make a little offer make a little one minute video or whatever and I follow 36 people so I can make a post on there and make an offer like a little 60-second video hey you know go get the book or whatever and then like three or four hours later checking my time to make sure I'm not late for this call three or four hours later I don't even see my damn post anymore cuz I got I see everybody else's stuff I only follow 36 people man so the average user follows a lot of people right now this is Live on YouTube and Facebook on YouTube damn that's impressive on YouTube there's 28 people I've never really like live streamed on YouTube a lot so I think this is my second time that's cool on Facebook there's 114 people man my audience is way bigger than that on both platforms you know I can do this a lot more and not everybody is going to see it so please like get that fear out of your head in terms of like you know what's YouTube subscribers social media channel audience podcast people it doesn't matter so again to summarize a cure for overwhelm is to stay focused on two things number one first and foremost most important keep the promises right you sell something make sure priority number one every day is to live up to the promises you made to the marketplace here is the thing you bought make sure that happens probably not going to take you all day right thing number two is make can offer I bet you that you know barring uh atypical circumstances like you know my branding class starts today I spend a long time over the past couple days creating that class but that's not a normal thing that's not a normal day so boring like abnormalities right you can't really take all day to do those two things it's it's probably going to be physically impossible to take all day doing those two things fulfilling the promises and making an offer which means the rest of the time you're free to be as distracted acted as you want man knock it out you know let your mind go crazy as long as you got those two boxes check that's all you got to do check two boxes every day keep promises make offers You're Gold He experienced a lot of rejection. All the while, he was living in a single trailer, eagerly anticipating moving up into a double-wide. Around this time, he borrowed some Tony Robbins tapes (Personal Power) from his step-father, and started to formulate the mindset that would soon see him making his way to the top of the Internet Marketing industry. Shortly thereafter, he started learning about making money online. He bought a $297 course on how to make money online from the late Cory Rudl and implemented it and he did see some success and felt encouraged. Frank Kern hired an author to write a "Teach your parrot to talk" book. After doing some keyword research he discovered that the market was big. He also heard of a guy who was doing the same thing profitably offline so he wrote the ad in advance, promising everything a parrot owner could want. Then he hired a writer to fulfill all those promises and point out the unrealistic ones. It cost Frank Kern $650 to hire the writer. Frank built a $3,000/month income stream from this eBook alone. He then said to himself: "What other pets are out there?" Frank Kern had worked with dogs in the past, and realized that dogs respond well to positive reinforcement. So Frank created a course, where he could automatically create a different web site for every different breed of dog ( approximately 600). He ran ads for each breed of dog, offering the same book with 600 different web sites - one per dog breed. This business launched in 2005 and went on to make sales of over $1 million in 2006. A simple approach, that scaled up exponentially. Frank Kern found that he really enjoyed showing other entrepreneurs how to make money online so he sold the dog business after 2 years, and focused on teaching people to make money online. F
