me some weirdness here I'm gonna see here see if this is working happy Christmas Eve to everybody first of all you're on this monitor with Wirecast stuff is on the other monitor there's like a 45 second delay or something yes Thank You Silvia all right beautiful good to see everybody thanks so much for being here the title of today's broadcast as promised by the way today marks seven consecutive days of going live every single day on Facebook and I gotta tell you something it's working out pretty good shocker who knew all right the more value you provide from the marketplace the more goodwill you establish and the more offers you make the more revenue you can generate giant mystery solved I know man I know but you know I've never done it before have you gone live like every single day made it a point like pump out content every day and make offers at the same time I never have so the title is see if I can remember the title of this thing well no I forgot is something about the right way to think about your social media marketing and that's how I wanted to share with you today it seems like in our minds anyway like when we go live or make a pose to create a video or something and put it on social and let's say we do that you know today and I'm coming to you right now it's 2 o'clock on Christmas Eve Pacific time so we think like if I do that today then you know after today it's gone right that's what our minds tell us not quite true the good news about this is every post every video every piece of content we put out there it lives on forever and it keeps getting action as a matter of fact yeah let me show you the back story I'll give you some numbers behind this you know I'm crazy about the numbers right so let's see here I'm going to try to go to the different camera view hopefully that'll work okay so you should be able to see my what do you call should be able to see my computer screen here so check this out alright on December 19th so it was that five days ago this is today's the 24th so whatever day that was was a Thursday or something I think it was Thursday I don't know whatever December 19th I was like you know what I think I'll do is well let me give you a little more backstory so starting December 1st I started going live and regularly making content to promote my book Frank Kern book calm which you should get if you don't have it cuz it's good all right and then on the 19th as you see here on the screen I went live I put the little link to my book there but also during this live presentation I was like hey I'm gonna be teaching this branding class showing you how to do all this stuff to build your brand and sell more stuff in 2019 the class is gonna be on January 7th if you're interested in attending type branding and become this now y'all don't type branding in the comments I was telling people to do that on this on that live that if you see again on my screen here it's December 19th so type ramming in the comments and Tyler from my office will reach out to you and he'll set up an appointment tell you about the class and you can enroll in the class or not you know pretty basic so we did that on the 19th alright it worked really really well here's another little promotion for the book then I did another one like just a quick super short video from my phone posted on Facebook say hey you know yeah if you're interested in this class type branding in the comments I also put that one on Instagram alright and then blah blah blah and I think that was I did one more from the car on the 20th okay so what was that now four days ago I said hey you know type branding the comments I'm telling them in the video type branding in the comments and some do alright I think that was the last one I think that well there know on the 20th again I did an official live on the 20th against a type branding in the comments all right and I believe that the 20th was the last day and here's why yeah it was so when the 20th was the last day and on the 21st 48 hours later here's what had happened so many people had typed branding in the comments and made an appointment with Tyler that his schedule is now booked up all the way until this Thursday right so I was like dude there's no point in me going on live and saying hey time for handing in the comments and then you know Tyler will reach out because no one can talk to him until Thursday and they're gonna get they're gonna forget what the dang thing was even for probably won't show up you know this is kind of the way it goes so I decided okay I'll stop telling people to type branding in the comments and I'll just set up these zoom calls I did one yesterday I did one today little preview calls in this class I'm gonna do another one on the 26th not tomorrow Christmas Day but on the 26th to 10 if you want to join me I believe I put the URL here put it in the comments as well listen over this video actually Fornaio will help me it's just go to screen huh yeah you guys aren't seeing my screen I don't know what the heck is going on here oh I see okay I screwed up the Wirecast so I can't show you my screen anyway it doesn't matter you don't have to see it so check this out on the back story just pretend you're looking over my shoulder we use this tool it's called Agora pulse really really cool we signed up for it on Thursday and what that does is it kind of aggregates all your facebook comments and in bound messages and stuff and put some in like one inbox kind of thing you could filter them you can do all this cool stuff it does the same thing for Instagram and YouTube so every time someone would reply with branding under one of those live videos that I did on the 19th and the 20th right so I did a couple of them I it'll be put in there's its own little separate inbox thing check this out I'm in Agora pulse right now I just went into the search from Facebook to see how many people are still typing in brand I got one an hour to an hour about one six hours ago three four five six seven this is just today people are still seeing that video that I did on the 20th was the most recent one where I say tight branding in the comments they're still seeing it four days later they're still taking action I'm going to come over here to Instagram I'm gonna do the same thing I think I made one post on Instagram for that where I said hey type branding you know in the comments and everything let's see if we're still getting action yeah so the most recent one right so Instagram was shorter-lived Facebook still going on crazy YouTube did the same thing took my Facebook live recording and I uploaded it to YouTube let's see if we're still getting branding comments on YouTube yep one two today already and that's like it's been days where I said four days since that content was created put online it's not promoting anymore it's still getting action the reason I'm telling you all of this is because you need to think of your social media marketing whenever you're making a post like this are going live like this you need to understand that what you're really doing is you're creating an asset alright you are creating an asset that can continue to give momentum to your business if you want to learn how to really do this like hardcore and use the strategy that we've been using since July which I call it based I'm still advertising my book funnel but not sending people to Frank Kern book calm like that route URL one okay so everything that I'm talking about of these is all organic so I've been measuring the sales from it okay now here's what's interesting I'm coming to click from I was like dang it y'all can't see it unfortunately you just have to take my word for it so like I started on the 1st of December alright and the sales for December 1st were 39 bucks that's exciting okay so I must not really done much probably just tested it let's have a look at the 2nd of December ok I'm not making eye contact with you cuz I'm looking at my monitor that was twenty six hundred eighty dollars I was pretty good that was like a really big day I'll go to the 6th of December and let's see what happened come on click funnels there we go 619 bucks alright so as I kind of ok I'm going up and down everything and now check this out from December 1st through the 19th all right the only thing I was doing and doing all these lives and stuff was talking about the book right so every day December 1st through December 19 go to Frank Kern book.com go to Frank Kern new book on go to Frank current look come I miss to me like a million posts about it it kept working to the tune of thirty seven thousand two hundred eighty one dollars and eighty one sets eight hundred eighteen people saw those posts went to Frank Kern book calm and got the book thank you all very much by the way I appreciate it now on the 19th I started promoting the class so a lot of the lives I was doing or what was at three or four of them they did over the nineteenth and twentieth said hey go get the book that's great but also type in brain in the comments so now I got two different offers going on so you would think that would make the performance get kind of funky alright and then on Friday I was like hey you know what we're out of room to like have the one-on-one conversations with you so I'm gonna paste this seven mile-long registration link in the comments he's registered for a live zoom call so I started doing that Friday I did that Saturday I did that yesterday right and I also still kind of made offers for the book but the main focus was now divided wouldn't you think that it would be like it would cause the sales to go down look at this yesterday's sales for the book alone all right you know what the 23rd feel with me live on the zoom call this morning you remember this yesterday sales from the organic funnel alone 4841 dollars on the yesterday was a 23rd on the 22nd the sales from the book funnel alone were come on 3,000 bucks same with 3000 $13.40 same width December 21st ok I think let's say I'm pulling it up on click cause it's so much cooler you see my screen excuse me on the 21st was 3000 $77 what I'm seeing is it just keeps building momentum someone will see alive that I posted like last week they'll still see the video because I'm putting the video on YouTube I'm putting it I'm stripping audio out and putting that on iTunes like all of this content that's making that offer it lives on I guess that's the point I'm trying to make for you it's the real way to look at this social media marketing when you're making content that it has offers at the same time don't think of it as just a thing you do today think of it as you're building your momentum right now there's so much momentum going to the organic finalist great I keep wanting to not promote it at all just to see what would happen but then I went well that's just stupid because why would I let that momentum die so today I'll tell you what we're doing today so is to 11:00 on Christmas Eve alright and 1560 dollars and 80 cents today I haven't promoted it that hard today is the first time I've gone live today posted a couple videos on Instagram that went over to Facebook not a tremendous amount of traction yet because I'm not really pushing the book right now I'm put she current all calm right but still I'm today capitalizing off of the momentum that I've been building since the first right and this is just organic the strategy that I'm talking about where we're making content is constantly making offers this is part of a strategy called intent-based branding in my opinion this is the future oh this isn't the future it's the present going into the future I've had a really really sell stuff online it's not about trying to build a big email list anymore it is about building a big audience and keeping that audience engaged and delivering value to that audience and constantly making offers to that audience in a way that is simultaneously providing value and goodwill if you want to learn how to do that go to current class calm someone hopefully is time to make for me in the do one of these lives I might get a hundred people on or whatever like I'm not surprised I'm actually very surprised there are this many people all right now it's Christmas need you know but here's the deal okay usually what I do one of these lives is gonna be you know fifty to a hundred people on but then the next day let's just let's just figure it out alright so I did it yesterday I think I had like 80 or so people on yesterday let's see how many's I did it yesterday was 23 hours ago I'm on my Facebook page now in the past 23 hours 2400 people have seen that right tomorrow that number will be higher the next day that number will be higher everything you make lives on if you make it where it's magnetic to the people you want it makes the offer in a way that is very palatable to those people and it also provides value and demonstrable E helps those people your brand will grow now the next part of that equation is to then take the best stuff that you put out there the one that gets the most engagement and turn it into an ad that you said cold traffic to and that's how I've been able to build an engagement list of over 800,000 people just engage with my videos in the past
