money I think money future a lot of people always ask the question how do you determine what's money future my understanding money feature is anything that does not put cash in your pocket yeah within a 30 60 90 days future it could be six months to be money me personally money now as anything I can get money paid in thirty sixty ninety days like that that's my general threshold right and the reason I have that threshold is because let me ask you this question if your income stopped could you survive 30 60 90 days if you don't have some of you guys your money now might be you gotta get paid this week cuz if you don't get paid you're not gonna survive it next week okay yeah if you've got enough money to survive for you know three months then you can stretch out your money now to three months that makes sense yeah this I like to use this is so cool what I call the the Batcave moment the Batcave moment so all my team like everybody knows I have that cake moment right there with no decimal knows the best master Wayne what does that mean well it's one of the Batcave moment he's in he's in the he's in the Batcave he's thinking he's he's on the white board he's strategizing and he's getting ready for a big pivot there's a bunch of big ideas coming out yeah usually that's that's even beyond thinking time yeah it's something else is it's very very sacred and same moment yes right so what am I not seeing or yeah you're asking those clinical questions I have I find to like walk out or the Batcave right so when I'm in a Batcave what it means is this this is my room's right so I get into it it's I have unpucker phone mm-hmm I close the door Jenny no so I I would know so if I when I close the door you know he's not having the Batcave moment I'm in my office unless the buildings on [ __ ] fire yeah you do not come in you do not call like nothing okay nothing no destruction total like so here it's like almost I'm asking right you're getting ready for fight this is like this this is me battling with myself right yeah that cage moment they know like nobody bothers me I would have liked all my tea or they're ready right right in my office right like I'm just bathroom that's it like I'm in there do not bother me that's eliminate all distractions total there's no one distracts me okay so beer green point like very very important and those those those are the times where I come up with yeah breakthrough strategist I'd use it Alec starts a question which I think it falls into this seafood do we need a few minutes rest time in between every task as I have packed schedules doing a few projects and they do go session by session without rest I totally understand that when I'm closing on calls you got up you got to have that 15 minutes yeah that's why we recommend all my closers if you go to the phone 45 minute yep give yourself a 15-minute break yeah drink prepare looking to mix call before the right know look at look at the prospect look at the profile and things like that maybe do some research yeah so I say give yourself that offer or even sometimes you know when you have a long day be able to walk up and down the stairs go outside shooting stretch like move around right well you had three four bad calls that they're not convert we go into it yeah that stretch do whatever you to do this is beyond the scope of this class but human beings we're actually not designed you have to work long hours mmm it's very interesting like there's a lot of science research I don't condone that all that but human beings where I should not design you know how notice if they say you're in front of computer yes see see just this is true you enjoy computer you're working on it let's say two three four hours straight non-stop you notice how you lose focus and you have to teak yeah right practice like you can see like at first like yeah first hour but then even you're doing the work but after a few hours you're like you can see you feel you know you're talkative is going down after like four or five hours right anyway 37 minutes what 37 minutes that's insane yeah so cosima bees we're not designed to do that how Greg you know that we actually design the way that we work is more like a like a sprint right so what intensely could be 40 45 minute 50 minutes yes break yeah do another 45 minute break right that's how I you gotta look him in you to schedule your time we're not designed to work five six hours trick no break you know you're not your productivity right you're not very productive after few hours because we are not designed that's why we lose focus and you can't you kind of see the self blurry in front of you you know you're not as sharp you're not as clear we start to look yeah we look for distraction because you're feeling yeah your work is not as fun or yeah so you know what do you do if a task you're working on right now takes you longer than expected creating the copy as expected you shift to the next task or you pause the current fast I move to the second half of the question which these two fees secret number five I'm gonna circle back to the question yeah okay car blocking time blocking blocking out the time mm-hmm so I want Josh I want to ask you this question okay so imagine you have an appointment with your doctor imagine you have an appointment yes right I talked to your back doctor doesn't matter imagine a doctor are you gonna make their appointment if nothing like nothing comes out right yes sir yeah you're gonna make the appointment right yep very simple so time blocking what it means is making appointment with yourself right right so why wouldn't you make appointments with the most important person in your life and that is yourself yeah instead letting other people's dictate how you should use your time your inbox other people's agenda block at a time for yourself Stephens really good at that Stephen our team copywriter director yep time walk very good at it you would you would you would you would make and keep your point with the doctor keep Nick and keep that with yourself so block at a time hey you know what I'm gonna lock up this time to work on money now yeah I'm gonna block on it's time to work on money the future yeah I'm gonna block on this time to work out on exercise mmm-hmm right if you don't that's the problem if you don't block it up mmm-hmm ain't gonna happen right if you say well you know after long day of work hottest I'll go to the gym and the other like I don't want to go and die I don't want to go right oh all right but versus if you mechanic on you-know-what from six or seven yes I'm gonna work out work out right boom just push that and they have an alarm in there have your calendar yeah just put block out that time with yourself right now what happens when you when you actually make appointments yourself example let's say for creating content they say for making videos right yes I block out of time mm-hmm hi or not inspire or not it doesn't matter right you block all the time you're gonna do it my schedule time to think because if you don't skin your time to think there's no thinking time you just busy so I know actually block on a time Jake this is the time that I'm gonna clock out I'm gonna think yep right how many entrepreneurs do that very few mm-hmm very few right I keep those appointments with myself just I would keep an appointment with someone else you know you're very very important do that once you block at a time with yourself yep right with yourself he's the mistake that a lot of people make yep okay they let other people thick tape their schedule right right now the imagine would you give your wallet to a stranger and to hold onto no but remember the initial example I gave you the time neg and why would you give your time to people to let them dictate how to use your time your wouldn't give you water to a stranger then why would you give your time to a stranger right if a telemarketer cost you and say hey man okay I want to get a boat cruise package for you man like dude you're wasting my time mm-hmm period right that's the thing so the biggest mistake that you can make is you have no end time yes so when you have to-do list on your on your on your gender you just say you know what today I'm gonna work on these couple things yeah but you have no end time you're not training yourself to be productive there's no question is if you say you block out your time in terms of a 15 minute increment 1 album increment 30 minute it doesn't matter whatever works for you you're not finishing they say after 30 minutes I'm only halfway done yeah don't keep dragging on train yourself turn that off go to the next thing you can book another time with yourself to work on that but unless you do that your training your mind to work slow because you always procrastinate and delay right you think cuz you're training your mind hey you know nothing happens if it distracts on I thought it's gonna take an hour now I end up ends up taking 3 hours when you do this when you train your mind - that's an end time you're making a pun with yourself I only block Oh an hour for this I'll get it done period and what happens is now the time gets shorter and shorter than shorter so you need to be ok and have the discipline and say hey I'm gonna cut this off this and if you're always missing always like not ending it on time it means that probably the way that you set your time you're not being realistic yeah right means that the tasks require more skills and then maybe the skills you have right now yeah let me give you a perfect example let's say you're closing on someone while you're closing and you block all the time for a 30 minute call you're right but every single time it goes over right it takes you an hour or maybe even 70 minute to close yourself right but you block out always 30 minutes yeah your skill is not good enough for you to close that 30 minute you're not there yet but you will get there give yourself one hour mmm so then just do that for one hour and then eventually you say you know what let's we shorten to 55 minutes yeah 15 minutes 45 then you get better and better done to your point you can do 30 minutes so your capabilities your skills match up with your expectations then you can do a firm and increment
