so this is what my network topology looks like I have some HP switches in this example of 5400 8250 530 850 900 5500 H I and 3500 connected to each of those switches is a user virtual machine these devices in this topology are within the same subnet so these are real switches with virtual machines connected to them representing user hosts and thus network is in turn connected to a core network that has the HP controller a network protector application installed on it
