I am here to uh help some people out today and explain some things and kind of give you guys a little tutorial and their basic rundown of the Minecraft store and how it all works and how this all fits together with Minecraft and what the future holds for Minecraft and what the Minecraft store actually means. A lot of people do like the store, but uh for some people it just confuses them and they don't really understand the store and why it exists and all that all that kind of stuff there. Um but I do understand the store and I I kind of I've followed Minecraft for many years now and I kind of get why this is happening and I get how this is going to work and what the future holds for Minecraft. So basically I'm just here to explain all that to you guys today. Basically this is the Minecraft uh store. It's on the Minecraft Windows 10 Edition beta. It's also on Pocket Edition and soon to be on the Switch and Xbox versions when they release for crossplatform multiplayer play. So when that releases, this Minecraft store will basically be on any major version of Minecraft. Anyways, we have skin packs, obviously, we have texture packs, we have worlds, and we have the special mashup packs, which are really cool. So yeah, in skin packs, we have a plethora of of skin packs that you can download, and they're all loaded. Definitely worth the value. I will say that. Basically, I'll start off with a little example for you guys. Let's say I wanted the Minecraft City Folk Pack and uh I just click that. Oh, I want it. And then it Oh, I I can see all the beautiful skins. You can actually see a 3D model that you can rotate of every skin to make sure that you uh you actually like this and want this. And you're like, oh, it's it's 310 Minecraft coin things. Oh, okay. You need to actually sign in and make a uh an account first. But anyways, you start off with zero coins and you're like, oh, I don't have enough coins. You can buy coins from the app store. And so yeah, this is the coin prices. Basically, it's $2 for a basic skin pack, maybe even a little more depending on the skin pack. And yeah, it just gets you some really cool skins. You can still, of course, import your own skins and make your own skins, but these oftent times will be specially developed and have special beards and stuff that you really just aren't going to get on a normal skin. Like, if we go to the holiday skin pack, you're not going to get a nice Santa hat like this on any skin that you make yourself or like a a hat like that. stuff like that is you're really only going to find stuff like this on these kind of skin packs. And yes, you pay just real money if you really want to buy them, but uh it doesn't affect the game at all. This is just a cosmetic thing, a cosmetic change to the game. But uh yeah, it's it's real money that you pay for different skins in the game. If we move on to texture packs, it's pretty much the same thing, just textures for the game. And as you can see, this is really cool. We're actually starting to accept now different uh like creator made things like spax was originally just made by this company or these group of people and now it's an official Minecraft skin pack cuz it's it's so good. It's beautiful. It's a great skin pack. I meant to say texture pack there. Yeah. So texture packs are a little bit more. They're about double the price. So they're about four bucks a texture pack. I mean it depends. If you really really like texture packs like this then it might be worth it. Again I don't have enough things. I'm not really going to be buying these. Actually I already own one. And I used to buy them when they were real money. But uh yeah, you can just buy all of these. Doesn't really matter. And we also have worlds that you can download. So we have the Struct 5000. These are like adventure maps basically, but they're really good quality adventure maps for sure. Of course, you're going to be paying real money. Oh, we have the Redstone Mansion one. This one's free. I think I've actually done this before. Yes, I have. There's a bunch of different uh adventure maps and just basic cool creations and all that kind of stuff that you can pay real money. And these are sometimes very cheap. Like the Dustville one is pretty cheap. And then we also have these ones which are super expensive. This one's over a thousand. But uh yeah, just look at the worlds. They're pretty good worlds. So yeah, it kind of starts with cheap skin packs and a little bit more expensive texture packs and then much more expensive worlds, but some are cheaper. And then we have mashup packs, which are way more money, but these are a texture pack, a skin pack, and a world. So it's it's kind of the best of both worlds. You're definitely getting the most for your value with these. We have Adventurers Dream where you actually get all three. Look at that. So you can see all the stuff here. You know, you're getting everything. And oh my god, I just remembered I have a bunch of like stuff for this. Like I literally have this like three of these that I need to give away. We'll be doing that every episode of our let's play probably. Anyways, yeah, we have Skyrim and we have Fallout. We have other games like Bethesda definitely cooperated here, but we have Greek mythology, Chinese mythology, stuff like that. And then we have everything by the community. So the community actually can make stuff now and upload it. Uh, I don't know how the uploading process works, but yeah, this is different community things. It's now a part of Minecraft. And this is everything by Minecraft down here at the bottom. So, this is all made by Minecraft, the creators of Minecraft. So, it's all quality though here. You're always getting something of quality. It's just real money and it doesn't affect the game for other players at all. So, it's not really making it unfair for someone or something like that. It's just spend real money and get some cosmetic stuff in maybe a world. Now, ROMs is definitely for multiplayer. So, you can get two. So, if you have like one other friend and it's four bucks a month basically where you can play with your friend wherever you are, but you don't have to be playing at the same time. So, the world is always up kind of like a server. You just log in and do whatever you want. Your friend can log in when you're not on and stuff or you could both play at the same time. And it actually just shows you. So, you have an infinite members and you can play online with up to two friends. It's saved online. Play on any Pocket or Windows 10 device and soon to come Xbox and switch. Takes up zero storage space on your device and friends can play even when you are away. So, you can actually make this. So, it is definitely like four bucks a month, which I mean, you know, it's like a server, so you should expect that. And then for a fantastic price, you get five times the players online at once for only double the price, which is really good. Infinite members play with up to 10 friends at once, and it's the same other benefits. Uh, so yeah, it's all like optional. You can try to make your own server, but these are way better options really. And yeah, guys, that is in a nutshell the Minecraft store. I hope this helped any of you guys who were confused.
