[Music] so [Music] hello youtube i'm matthew productions and welcome back to another video today we're going to be doing a review of the vboc wireless charger now if you guys remember a little bit before christmas i did a review on this wireless charger this is a three dollar uh ali express uh charger was only three bucks i think and uh it worked pretty well for three dollars you know it doesn't look too bad my sister still uses it to this day to charge up her device and uh you know it's pretty simple just a little usb cable plugged into the wireless charger and uh there you go three dollars now this company v box sent me their uh wireless chargers technically this is a sponsored video but i'm doing my complete honest uh opinions on the charger that they sent me yeah so they sent this over this is a 30 dollar wireless charger so is this wireless charger 10 times better than this simple wireless charger who's made by uh well it's definitely made in china we know that uh yeah i i have no idea who made this but uh it's three bucks and it works reliably too it hasn't broken yet but anyways can it really stack up to this one and uh is this one really uh ten times better i don't think it's going to be ten times better but i think it's gonna be a of a much higher caliber i mean the casing already seems and feels very nice you can read a little bit on the back here i think it does actually charge a little bit faster than that one would so the color that we have is ceramic white uh works with all compatible uh wireless devices including the latest iphone which is seven and a half watts and samsung phones which use 10 watts so new intelligent technology so that's actually a chinese company that makes this but uh they kind of go by vbac here so well let's do a little unboxing experience and then we'll actually get into comparing these two chargers but i do want to get the unboxing feel for this thing because it does seem like it's an apple-esque apple style unboxing experience here and i think it's going to be quite good so let's get right into that man you know what i'm seeing a pretty crazy green theme going on here today but let's actually get into the unboxing portion here so again like i said before it does seem like it has an apple esca oh god i just really scraped down that whole side of the box yeah it's like an apple-esque style sort of casing here that that they were going for that's definitely what they were going for something that apple users would enjoy but again this can also be used on samsung devices all right so let's get that uh apple style unboxing going on can we just shake it out like this oh you can hear it shaking we can see it there we go yeah that's definitely apple uh inspired i hope they're not trying to sell it like it's an apple product but you know it's it's pretty uh pretty much you know they have vboc on here they're not trying to rip off apple they're just inspired there's this little pull tab here but uh from my experience this is very similar to apple very very similar this would be the manual and instructions and everything and this is the device itself wow it's quite a bit uh more weighty than our original three dollar fast charger it definitely is going to be looking a lot nicer it does look like it uses as you can see it uses a micro usb to charge up which is uh usually available in most households and that is also what is available with this three dollar wireless charger so we'll put that to the side we can also got the codes and stuff so here's our cord over here again super apple like this is like heavily apple inspired here we go there's your micro oh wait no i was wrong maybe i wasn't wrong i was right originally it is definitely a that is definitely a micro usb there but this one is definitely of a higher quality than this cheapo one this is the three dollar one and then this is the 30 one this one's also quite a bit longer which is going to be useful for charging your phone so yeah then we also get wow a handy dandy uh cleaning cloth that's actually a nice touch i appreciate that v buck really appreciate that but again for 30 dollars you know a little extra does not hurt this feels uh pretty nice good for cleaning devices and stuff here's my phone right here might as well clean that sucker off so we got the charging cable let's get this box out of the way there we go let's take a look at the manual though happy whoa all right happy user guide well it's pretty simple uh to use but it's nice that they include all this stuff something really cool to include would have been like a v-box sticker or something like that again they did send this out for free so i'm thinking them this is a nice little device so uh again it's like in case of this nice you know anti-static uh bag here wow shiny this is a nice looking device it's it's a lot heavier and it's a lot nicer it's like space age flying saucer looking it's high quality feeling for sure and you guys cannot miss this oh man and that is just the back of it let's get the other side the other side has one too beautiful now i understand why they want the cleaning thing it's for all this chrome on the side of the actual device here but yeah a lot weightier this is not falling off your desk they have this rubber ring that goes all the way around it to prevent it from falling these ones have like a couple little rubber pads on it like you can see the comparison here this one's like weighty this one's like ridiculously more heavy in fact we can weigh them because i'm a crazy reviewer i'm going to weigh these devices all right here's my scale here all right we're going to weigh it in ounces here goes the smaller wireless charger 1.5 ounces on the lighter side there obviously now let's weigh the new vbac charger that is 6.6 ounces that's like five times the weight so yeah let's just say that this thing is not falling off your desk anytime soon i actually really appreciate the extra weight it makes it feel more high quality and it is very high quality again if you want a good look at the device it is uh all chrome here and yeah it just feels nice it's smooth it's beautiful obviously you know they they did what they could for this one it's three bucks but you know what they do probably function the same so we're gonna test the function now of both these devices [Music] now the v buck cord fits uh from my wall all the way here just fine it is a little short though it's like probably around uh the same length of a normal apple cord now we'll just plug it in here again this thing is pretty hefty now the first test here i want to see if i can charge the thing through its case because i saw today my friend charged his phone through his case with his wireless charger i want to see if this works wow works like a charm man wow it has no problem charging it right through the case here that's fantastic i'm very impressed now i'd like to mention that the charger my friend had was around ten dollars and had a hard time charging right through the case like that yeah it really doesn't have much of a problem at all charging my phone that's super interesting now let's test out the wireless charger that's only three dollars i'm going to be using the same chord because it is the same chord pretty much this one's just a little bit more high quality for the v buck and we'll plug that in so we'll plug that one in it's got little indicator lights which would have been a nice touch on this vboc one by the way but maybe they were going for a more clean design you know that's more of a design choice let's see if we can charge it oh it does get it right through the phone all right so this one also doesn't have much of an issue at all going right through the phone and there it goes it does light up and charge almost exactly the same i'd like to mention that the vbac one is a little bit smaller on the diameter than this wireless charger does it feel any different though comparing the two devices so plug this in and there you go it's charging it really doesn't feel any different between the two chargers now i want to try the glass back part of it to see uh because i think the way you're supposed to actually charge it up is to take the case off and charge it just glass back but it does work through the case which is pretty cool all right glass back mode will it charge should definitely charge right up charges a lot easier by the way has no problem here before i was actually having problems with this wireless charger getting it to charge my phone consistently and evenly this one sticks right to it does not feel like it's going to fall off nearly as much as if i stuck it on top of this one this one slides around very easily this one not so much this barely slides around because they have this nice rubber padding on the top and the bottom to keep it from moving so yeah charges it up really nicely and again this one's not falling off the table forget to mention that and then we'll try this one obviously it's gonna charge but there you go charges it up but you know it can easily fall and slide off not a huge fan of that again the comparison here but they do both serve the same function but again if you're buying a device like this you definitely have the money to spend on like a 30 dollar wireless charger that's going to be a little nicer protect such an expensive device right obviously the vbox charger is a lot better than this wireless charger all right conclusion time so in conclusion i think that the v buck wireless charger is a heck of a lot better than the three dollar ali express charger this is pretty obvious but is it a whole ten times better no i don't think it's a whole ten times better but that does not mean you should buy the three dollar charger maybe you should go for a middle charger maybe a ten dollar charger that might be a little bit more of a smarter move but the v buck one is definitely the highest caliber and the highest quality and i really don't see a problem with them charging thirty dollars for it it will definitely protect your expensive new iphone or samsung phone and it definitely will protect it a lot more than a five dollar a ten dollar or a three dollar wireless charger would and it also looks super nice and fashionable and oftentimes will fit uh whatever device you have you can order it in different like apple esque colors and the packaging is very apple-esque so it's definitely more for the expensive apple user but it is a very nice wireless charger and i give them that so if you have the cash flow i would recommend it but if you're looking for something a little bit more budget i don't know if i would go with a three dollar one maybe more of a ten
