hello everybody i'm at video productions and welcome back to another video in today's video we're going to be checking out a fantastic mod for minecraft that really really changes how you play minecraft and how minecraft feels and makes minecraft feel pretty crazy so we've all seen physics mods before in minecraft in fact i've reviewed a few physics mods before but i've never seen a physics mod quite like this one so first off you have your typical you know what you would expect out of a physics mod so whenever i break a block like this you can see it turns into like little chunks of dirt very realistic you can even push them around with your body and watch them fly around everywhere i just went ahead and changed my shaders because i think uh different shaders work better with this mod to be honest i was on ptgi i know i'm on just renewed but this is basically what you would expect out of a physics mod here is what you wouldn't necessarily expect out of a physics mod look at that [Laughter] actual physics vines in minecraft and you'll also notice i have a cape on that also has complete physics too and i can run around and jump and it reacts as i move around minecraft and i've actually noticed that this mod runs uh surprisingly well as well and it fits really surprisingly well with vanilla minecraft as you can see each individual block here has its own sort of physics ability so everything is reacting in a way that sort of fits with vanilla minecraft if that makes sense if i break all that as you can see all that half of the tree fell off with the the realistic physics that come with this mod so it helps minecraft feel a little bit more realistic in a lot of ways it even happens with the tree as well and of course you can still pick up all these items it's not like you can't pick them up or anything else like that it's it's more adding like the classic timber mod into this and you can see dropped items also have physics as well so you can throw them onto the ground and then pick them back up so yeah this adds a really nice element of realism into minecraft that you wouldn't really get otherwise and yep it smacks into the sheep as well there really is nothing more satisfying though than destroying an entire tree like that in a realistic physics way so as we know in minecraft some items don't just drop on the ground i mean you could drop this item on the ground if you want but you could also throw it and this mod also changes the way that items are thrown around so as you can see i throw the snowball and it shatters into a billion little pieces and i can just keep throwing snowballs and they make these little voxel cubes this one's pretty laggy again you can't adjust all the settings to accompany lag if you so desire and of course these can be moved as you walk over them as well so i can just move these particles with my body and like i said before it also works with the ender pearl although you know you'll be teleporting around as it explodes everywhere and you can still walk in all these as well and this mod also accounts for stuff like flowers being on top of the block that you destroy so the flower also gets destroyed and i mean that happens when you destroy them anyways and you can push those broken flower bits around and pretty much any block or item gets broken like this even grass for example when you're in survival mode and you're just destroying blocks normally you can also notice a lot of these little particles that you can also kick around fly off of the blocks in a really cool and realistic way which i really enjoy it's a lot of fun to mess around with and it's going to make playing minecraft just that much more interesting but yeah they didn't really account for uh how overpowered this might be for destroying all these trees separately you just pick up all the wood right away so yeah it's a little bit cheaty but it's also a little bit more realistic i think so if you like realism in your minecraft mods you know this is definitely a plus for you by the way this mod is also updated for 1.17 so everyone that plays on 1.17 will be able to enjoy this and also works on 1.16 and i'm not sure about any versions below that but i assume there are quite a few versions that this supports so one thing you're also going to notice is that mobs actually have full ragdoll physics as well and as you can see he flops down there on the ground and that can make for some really funny moments when you're playing this game and literally every mob has full ragdoll physics it's implemented super well and it feels almost grant the thought alike i guess you could sort of feel bad for the mobs when they flop around like this and of course this mod is a ton of fun with tnt [Music] all the bodies are just flying around and it does get wrapped up pretty quick but you can change the amount of time that the different effects last so you can make this literally just last in the world forever but you'll have a lot of lag if you do that if you really dislike villagers this is definitely the mod for you so here's a good example of some shaders not being compatible with this mod these are all different color banners and well they all look the same anyways guys yes banners do actually have uh affected physics as well so you can see i can push the banner around with my body and it has real weight and everything in general this mod is just super fun to mess around with and fling things around i almost forgot to show you guys one of the coolest parts about the mod the physics and the water are pretty cool as you can see my cape has real physics under the water here but also the vines are fully physics uh under the water which is super fun to mess around and play with so yeah they have full physics and you can just move them around and yeah there's not much more fun in minecraft than swinging these things around so it's going to be quite the surprise when you're in your survival world and you forget that you have this mod on and then all of a sudden you start pushing vines out of the way when you're swimming around but yeah everyone that is the physics mod there are some issues with compatibility in relation to shader packs and also shader packs plus texture packs can prove to be an issue as well this is the patrick resource pack this is my favorite resource pack it works pretty well with patrick's um with seuss ptgi there's like a lot of ghosting when you destroy different blocks and stuff just because of the way uh seuss ptgi works but if you see we'll destroy the grass some of the grass particles look a little weird and they also look really ghosty and weird and strange looking so it kind of works it's definitely playable but yeah you'll have some glitching and some weirdness going on for sure if you're using some different shader packs and texture packs you'll notice some shader packs don't even work at all and even with shaders completely off we still see these issues as well you can see that some of the grass is literally just purple for some reason i don't know why that is even though patrick's looks really good as a resource pack we're still seeing some weird glitchy issues that are not perfect so yes everyone thank you so much for watching there is a version of this mod that is completely free and i'll link
