[Music] Good morning, YouTube. Welcome to uh my life. Let's Let's get started. Huh? All right, [Music] you know you know you coffee banana This is it. Exciting. Oh my god, that's good. I try to take advantage of my mornings because that's when I feel like my my brain is at its at its best. I want to capitalize on that time. So, part of my morning routine is uh to come here and journal. I just write down what I'm thinking about the day, what my goals uh are for the day so I can I can get out of up here and literally on paper. So, so it's concrete and quantifiable. All right, time to head in. Um I think it's just maybe after 9, like 9:05, I want to say. Um already sweating bullets here. I I don't know if you can I don't know if you can see that, but it is going to be hot today in Los Angeles. Yeah, my commute isn't too bad. It's like 30 to 40 minutes. Um, by LA standards, I think that's pretty good. So, usually, uh, if if I'm if I'm being good, I will listen to, uh, a handful of podcasts. Um, I know Matthew mentioned this before, but, uh, Gary Vaynerchuk's podcast is fantastic. That'll that'll absolutely get you moving uh, in the morning. Um, there's some other really interesting ones like reply all science versus. Um, those are maybe a little more entertaining versus uh, you know, educational and motivating. I try to balance the two. Or if I didn't get enough sleep, maybe I'll just crank some metal or EDM or something, you know, whatever works. [Music] All right, just got to blind. Um, it's maybe like 10 minutes to 10. It's nice to get here kind of early when no one else is. Guardian. Okay, so first thing first, let's figure out what today's goals are. Um, I use an app called To-Doist, and typically that's that's how I like to start my day, just by setting set setting out a plan. Also, I just noticed something. I meant to clean my keyboard yesterday, but look at this. Look at how gross that is. Usually in the morning, I just like to meet with him and Daisy just to go over kind of goals for the day. What are we doing? Uh what do I need to be aware of? And you know what what's top priority. Today is actually kind of chill, which is great because that gives me some free time to think about what to do and maybe some more content to make for uh for the future. So, Chris has been bugging me for a long time to do this. Um, which is my first portfolio video. So, it took me a while, but I managed to track down two hard drives from college, and there's bound to be some really, really bad work on there. So, uh, today we're going to crack these open because I have no idea where the power supplies are for them. And, uh, we're just going to take the drives out, see if we can't mount them, and Mr. Ben Burns is going to help me with that. Let's go do it. Ben, you know what you're doing. You've done this before. Yeah. We're going to pry open these these cases, pull the drives out, and all my information is going to be safe and sound, right? Hopefully. That's the That's the goal. You ready? Let's do it. Let's do it. All right. [Music] So, have some good news and some bad news. So, good news is got these two drives out. They look like they're in pretty good shape. Bad news is that I don't know if you can see, but the interface that they use to to connect is really outdated. And none of the mounts that we have here at the studio can plug into these. So, got to go online, see if I can find someone locally who ideally today I can drive to, pick up, and get these suckers mounted so I can see what's on them. I am dying to know what's on these things. Lunch crew is on the move. It looks like today we are heading to Z Garden. Um, which is kind of nice because you can sit outside there and it's very hot and sunny today. [Music] got back from lunch and immediately took a call. Have another call in 10 minutes, but uh really need a coffee before then. All right, second conference call of the day done. back to back is is tough. It's a lot of like focusing your brain. Um, that cup of coffee helped. There goes staff meeting. Staff meeting happening right now. Let me let me drop this coffee off and then looks like we're we're heading Oh my gosh. I'm sorry, guys. And then we're heading right back. All right, stick with me here. So, there's going to be some blind and future stuff that's going to cross over here. The first thing I want to tell you guys is [Laughter] okay back from meeting three in a row. I still have a lot of work to do tonight. I think didn't I say at the beginning of the day I had like a light schedule. Today is actually kind of chill. That's not right at all. I think I have one more meeting today and um Chris, Ben, and I are flying out to Seattle bright and early tomorrow. Like got to be at the airport at 6:00 a.m. kind of early. I have to wrap my head around some some things in preparation for our meeting tomorrow. I respect vloggers now because turns out this is a lot of work to do to document. I feel like I'm getting a lot done documenting, but not as much actual work done. On to my next meeting. BRB. [Music] Okay, it's a little after 7. See, sun is on its way down. Uh it's really it's really pretty right now, actually. Um I'm going to head home for the night, I think. Uh, I have a lot to think about and and plan and strategize for tomorrow. And most importantly, I got to get up bright and early. So, I want to go home, let all this stuff process that happened today, and uh spend some time with my wife and my dog. So, let's get on the road. Look at that. It's beautiful. [Music] Home sweet home. About to walk up these stairs and see everybody. I'm I'm really excited. Uh especially because I'm going to be gone all all day tomorrow. Uh really uh really looking forward to seeing everyone, spending some time with him tonight. Okay, see you inside. [Music] Hey, I love you. I said [Music] Lucy, we going for a walk. [Applause] [Music]
