for [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right hello everyone hi everyone Welcome to our $1,000 voice AI competition kickoff uh really really excited to see folks joining in from all over people oh yeah there's like hundreds yeah no seriously hundreds from Australia um we have folks tuning from Germany so let us know where you're tuning in from and also we dropped a poll in the chat so we want to know if you've already started building with her voice AI feature and what it's been like I'm also really excited because this competition is like the first time we've ever done a competition like this so we got all of you we've got a kick off and we have an incredible prize Kim don't we yeah we do if you couldn't already tell from the main slide we have a pretty pretty big prize pool and some other surprise prizes that we're going to be showing off today I mean what's better than surprise prizes yeah got people from all around the world you got people from Canada slightly biased but we love you um Toronto uh Pakistan that's cool UK I used to live there I hope whoever is less terrible than normal guar Hamilton Ontario very yeah Pakistan all over that's awesome Romania oh my God Europe as well people all over La of course and of course call out that the weather is the same here yeah nice so everybody uh enjoying winter uh we hope we can make your winter a little bit better by using AI agents so yes yes wow everyone's just listing all the places I wish I was right now well it's slush and snow here in Canada yeah all right shall we get get started let's get started okay cool well welcome everyone to the kickoff and I thought it would make sense to to start with an intro um in case you haven't already seen Jacqueline all over YouTube hey yeah I'm Jacqueline I lead develop relations here at voice flow so my job is if you're developer I want to make content to help you build better and uh that why today I'm going to be showing you some cool things you can build using voice uh so make sure you stay tuned because I've got some inspiration for you Kim who are you I am Kim I lead things Community here at boo youve probably seen me lurking around in some of the other events and mostly in the Discord um so yeah happy to build sort of community programs competitions like these to get our community healthy happy and growing and we've got so much to learn about today so Kim what's coming up all right let's dig into it so we're first gonna obviously kick off with voice Ai and voice flow what it's all about if anyone hasn't tried it what you can expect uh we're going to do a kickoff so sharing everything you need to know the details of the competition the prizes to win how you submit the deadlines key dates as well as office hours that we're featuring so lots to unpack there and then getting started with voice passing over jacine to show a oneone basic tutorial on how to get started with voice and voice blow and as well as an advanced demo um with you know yeah yeah we've been building some crazy stuff it's gonna be pretty hype so stick to the end for sure um and then of course we'll do a wrap up with any uh Q&A so use a Q&A tab in SQL to drop in any questions that come up throughout the event and if you're watching on YouTube or or LinkedIn then just spr in chat and our manager will hopefully uh send him to us on slack that's a hint for you Dani our team is on call as we speak right in that corner cool okay so let's kick it off uh voice in voice flow what is it all about so we just launched voice and voice flow a couple weeks back lets you essentially call a number using um call a workflow in voice flow using a phone number uh and so what's exciting is natively with every voice of project you can essentially create a voice experience and a chat experience yeah anything you'd like to add to to what's exciting about this launch well for me the really exciting thing is it's all in one so this feature is now launched people are asking in chat when's it happening literally it's now yeah um but like you can just build a project and will automatically support both Voice and text uh so you don't need to worry about like making different projects and stuff you can optimize things depending on the medium but like it it just works it's kind of like magic yeah and you can even build multimodal experiences that alternate between voice and chat that's a really cool blast yeah super cool yeah cool and just to break down a little bit more about what's what's featured here's some cool highlights that you can expect with our voice AI feature so we have everything from outbound calling inbound calling you can also set up audio cues background audio textas speech voices from 11 Labs room Google so lots to unpack and lots to try out with our with our voice offering yeah I'm so excited to see what people will yeah me too yeah okay the moment that we're all waiting for and why everyone is probably here today uh so the Thousand voice AI competition let's break down what you can expect in the competition prompt a, Us doll yes us us not Canadian all right cool let's do a drum roll for the prompt okay all right so we are awarding $1,000 US dollar plus two months of free Pro Plan Plus 10 million AI tokens as well as a swag pack to the best voice project built on voice flow and so what we're really looking for is a voice AI project that includes uh connecting to multiple different backend services and Integrations handles custom actions on call is multimodal or user outbound calling feature essentially we're looking for something that's more than just an FAQ voice agent um that just can do a lot more than what we see already on the market and I think the cool thing that Kim is saying is it can do things so conversations are cool if your agent can actually do something that's the next level yeah do more than just answering questions take it to the next level um again handle actions yeah and here's some sample project ideas if if you're looking for some inspiration so you can build something obviously classic customer support agent you can do an outbound agent travel booking agent or even your own personal conour voice spot uh we've done some dead labs in the past like uh that handle like spam calls so that's a really cool use case that you can also explore yeah if you can dream it you can probably build it yeah that's right okay and then the prizes one thing that we really wanted to make sure in this competition is that everybody wins uh we love that folks are building with voice flow and getting to know our tool so all qualifying entries will receive five million AI tokens as well as opportunity to get showcased on a product as well as LinkedIn ad sponsors so really great way to just learn the platform start building U give us your feedback and and really learn how to use voice flow uh but we're also going to give some extra prizes to the two runnerup projects so uh for you'll receive two months of free propan 10 million AI tokens as well as a voice s pack it's a lot of tokens yeah it's a lot of tokens and like swag pack does that mean I don't have to buy clothes anymore that's right yeah you can wear that one hoodie on repeat wow this is the dream yeah for sure and we're also doing some bonus prizes whoa even more swag we're gonna have a closet of voice swag um but essentially bonus prizes we want to reward submissions that go above and beyond so there's two tracks either your gold standards so you're formatting your post you're making sure you have it template with clear uh description that goes above and beyond uh on YouTube and Linkedin as well uh and you will get awarded one month free Pro Plan five million AI tokens and the swipe pack uh and the second track is most engaged so we are asking that folks share the videos on YouTube and Linkedin so the post that gets the most engagement we will also award the bonus prize basically you're probably already posting on LinkedIn anyway and like if you do really good posts you could get over a million dollars but it's not a million it's a million tokens EXA and it's five million tokens so basically it's better it's a win-win yeah exactly what more could you need for sure cool and then key competition date so obviously we're here today at the kickoff just sharing all the details sharing all the prizes but we are here to help and we want to be a supporting figure in you in this journey of building your project so we have two optional office hours running this week as well as next week um so just look at those dates uh the we have the zoom link there on the detail but we'll also be sharing out a competition dock as you can see the QR code in the top corner of the side is where you can access the competition doc we'll also send out an email with everything you need know so rest assured uh and then of course the submission deadline is on March 9th so just make sure you submit it before midnight uh to this link here on the side and I will just call out at some point in this competition that is a daylight savings change in North America so please triple check times at submission you don't want to miss it by an hour that would suck that's a great call out yeah mark your calendars mark calendars okay and then where to find help if you're not already in the Discord Community join us uh we also will add the link again to the doc uh but essentially you want to head to the get a roll Channel clicked on the mic reaction emoji and that will drop you into our voice competition Channel where you can ask specific questions get help from other community members get help from the team um so yeah just a great way to connect with other folks participating in the competition we want to help you so let us help you that's what my parents said when I was a child and it applies to of each day we're here to help so let us help yes let us help you build the winning winning project yes yes great okay and the submission guidelines so what do I need to submit to to qualify here well there a couple of things K there are a couple of things yeah so we want you to share a two to five minute YouTube video with a quick Dumbo of your project the problem that it solves who IT addresses as well as how you built it um bonus points if you reshare it on LinkedIn it's always a great way to to get some exposure there um if you do share on LinkedIn select posts will also be sponsored so we can help you boost your engagement on your post uh and then we also ask that you submit the VF file of your project as well as a quick project description yeah it's not too much not too much not too much it's uh it's pretty simple ask uh and again there's the submission link make sure you mark your calendars March 9th 11:59 p.m sharp uh eastern time Eastern Time Eastern yes awesome and as I shared this is a competition do feel free to take a snap of this QR code again we will also be sharing this out via email but this is the full dock of everything that we just shed everything that you need to know all the questions you probably have answered in this do there's also some really fun legal reading in there including terms of conditions that you do need to qualify for H so just just give it a quick read pretty much what you'd expect but you know we have to tell you to read it so please do yes please read it all right and that's everything in terms of the the competition guidelines we're really excited to see what folks are are going to build uh but without further Ado Let's uh let's have some fun let's let's see how you can actually create a basic voice project if it is your first J awesome so I'm gonna walk you through kind of building a very very basic voice project and I'm gonna show you something really really cool but let's start with that super duper cool starting technically because you know you're starting using voice you know it's got a learning curve and so I want to get you over that learning curve right now we love that here is my screen boom um and I am literally from scratch going to create a new agent so I'm going to call my agent Fred because that's an amazing name for an AI agent and I'm just going to leave with a basic template all of these templates should also work with voice you just might need to make some changes and then I'm going to hit get started and you can if you're using a knowledge base import some data in here but I'm not going to do that right now I'm just going to skip this step just to kind of show you as fast as possible and this is a normal voice flow project but the really cool thing is this is also a voice flow voice project wow isn't that so cool I know it's like the future except it's today um so how do I enable voice on this so what you do is you press back here and you'll notice on the sidebar there's a bunch of different options but the one you're looking for is this integration setting and then you can click telephony telop I don't know how to say that word yeah I think telefony the icon a phone yes yes so you'll want to give that a click and then the cool thing about this is this lets you connect to a twio number now you can import a number from scratch um if you click learn more we'll walk you through how to do it there's a video hello yeah uh showing you how to do it but for now I'm going to link a uh one that's already connected so I can just choose a random phone number uh we'll choose uh this one and then I can assign it to production or development so let's say I'm going to assign it to production okay and I'm already using that on an agent but that's fine I'll press okay and I'm just going to copy this phone number and then I'm going to because I said I want it to run in production going to publish my agent so if I was running in development it would run whatever is on my canvas if it's running in production it's whatever is running when I last all that was on my canvas when I last clicked publish okay so it's now going to compile some workflows and if you got questions in chat don't you worry we're coming to you bear with um and it's gonna finalize my deployment beautiful and and that is it I now have a voice agent Kim isn't that crazy insane that took like two minutes two minutes max and I'm going to prove I'm not lying so I'm going to actually call it right now and I'm gonna ask it the most important question okay let's give it a try hi there I'm your new AI agent ask a question and I'll use AI to answer it hey I agent do you think I'm really cool of course everyone has something cool about them I'm sure you have unique talents and qualities that make you awesome ask a question and I'll use AI to answer it I ask another one but there you go that is how quickly critical question yeah you can get an AI agent running on voice on voice slow I think that was like a couple minutes right literally okay but there's gonna be more than just that that you're going to want to do like that's not going to win you a competition it certainly isn't so what is what is going to win well um I spent some of last week building a mega agent uh stealing other people's uh prompts from voice flow and uh we came up with this now this is an event confirmation agent its name unfortunately isn't Fred which is kind of boring but uh maybe you in chat can think of something better and this event confirmation agent is a bit different because I just called a phone number this agent calls you so basically like you know if you're ever sad and lonely and you just want a phone call from an AI agent this agent can do that but actually sign me up yeah it's way more useful okay because imagine you are running a company that runs a vent so I've been here before and if you've ever run a event you'll know you'll have a bunch of vendors you'll have like a caterer you might have someone to do Lighting and Sound you might have a DJ flowers yeah someone ferrets called Daniel you know there's like a bunch of different people maybe even a clown yes a clown wow and and the thing you might know about these kind of vendors is sometimes it's a little bit difficult to email them they might not have a website always um and they do everything over the phone if you're like me having to do a phone call every time to go and confirm like hey are you definitely actually coming tomorrow and then wait on the line and wait on the line and then like just you know just make sure everything's correct and go for that back and forth It's a nightmare it is so we buil this so how this works is I have a notion page and this is my vendor note so I can add as many vendors as I want and I can have a vendor called balloon Bonanza here I'm saying they're arriving on February 20th in fact that's in the past but that's fine um at 800m and I've got some notes that he should bring purple balloons we don't want any Orange balloons uh and uh there's a phone number of the vendorly that vendor is me uh so let's try calling it um and when I hit this call for confirmation button what's going to happen is it's going to run this n8n workflow this basically is going to update this to say calling and then it's going to do an API request to voice flow uh and that API request the really cool thing I've got a video on the challenge page which shows you this but it has variables so we can pass variables from notion via NN into voice flow and that means like our agent knows context when it does the call so I'm going to try calling it I'm just going to give you a heads up there might be a bit of latency here just because we using Google Voice you can actually hear the agent but let's give it a try I'm going to go and call me we go hello hi I'm from Jaclyn's events we have a booking coming up and I wanted to verify that we have the correct details in our system would you have a quick moment yeah of course we have a booking for balloon Bonanza at our event and on our end you're scheduled to arrive at 8:00 p.m. on February 20th could you confirm if that matches what you have yeah that's correct [Music] could you check if the details I have here are correct on our end you're planning to bring purple balloons and we've noted that there shouldn't be any orange balloons does that match what you have no actually we're planning on bringing green balloons I understand I'll make a note of that thanks for checking and have a great day awesome so there's some pores that that's just because of how Google Voice works behind the scenes but let's look cool part in here get ready yeah us this confirmed the arrival time but it was an in accuracy on balloons colors they're actually bringing green balloons so that means I can like do this followup and like make sure that we're bringing the right thing so that's super cool we're able to pass these notes in this arrival time have that conversation and then send that confirmation back into notion and importantly make sure we don't have balloons that would suck exactly so this is using functions obviously using outbound calling we've got functions to update a page property in notion um the really cool thing and this is of course you can't demo this easily is this can actually navigate foam trees so if you ever like been in Canada it's like for service in English press one FR or you've like uh you know like press one for reception press two for bookings blah blah it can actually navigate that using this logic here and finally this is the bit which blows my mind um if I click in here everything is in this prompt and this means we can have these like linear sorry less linear conversations so we can actually say like um actually give me a second I need to go and find that out um and our agent will wait it'll be like yeah no problem take your time and it will go and wait this is a really good prompt because it helps like make sure that you know it's saying things in a way that works on speech to text or text of speech sorry like January 17th to 8:45 a.m. in text for example so this is going to be on the event page I recommend taking a look at it but this is an example of what we're kind of looking for it's not just a customer support but it certainly is it it does so much more really cool stuff yeah and we will be sharing out this template it actually included already in the competition doc so if anyone wants to give it a try and play around with it you're welcome to and I'll give you a couple more tips as well just before we go because people like the voic is fonic yeah so you can actually play around of different voices we just chose a random one but if you go into to beh Behavior voice there is a ton of options so you can like mess around with how long to wait before the person um like before it counts as an interruption uh how long to wait to transcribe speech you can set the language uh you can have like an audio clue cue so when it goes boom and whenever you say something you can have background noise people have said in chat like background noise makes it feel way more natural completely agree and of course you have a bunch of different voices there's 11 Labs there's Googles there's rhyme there's Microsoft Amazon just play around of different voices the cool thing is when you submit your template the voice that you used will be attached to your template as well so it's part of the overall experience yeah sure and I think those are the main things I recommend trying out uh with voice of course we do have videos on YouTube that show the best practices and if you need a bit of help just head into that Discord Channel we're here to help you out yeah for sure all right so jumping back into some quick reminders um so again key dates make sure you mark these in your calendar we have a couple office hours so as you're getting started you can chime in jasine will be there and we'll we'll try to help you out with your projects um so there's one on the 27th of February and one on March 5th and we have the zoom links here on the dock um and then final call out is submission deadline make sure that you are submitting everything by March 9th before 11:50 before 12 am so before 11:59 before 11:59 p.m. e Easter e yes so don't procrastinate and get your get your submissions in all right we got some question question in chat okay let's do them let's answer some questions if you're watching on LinkedIn or YouTube we'll do your best to get to them if you're watching on SQL F in chat but if you really want us to watch you even ask him in the Q&A section it's gonna be easier for sure for sure okay cool so um this is a good one let's throw this up on chat so if a person doesn't register for the kickoff or isn't here today uh can he or she participate after it's ended answer is yes this kickoff is simply to reveal the prompt and obviously to answer any questions live so yeah feel free to submit your project is open submission just make sure you do it before the deadline yeah um all right is this session recorded yes yes the session is recorded it's coming through oh this is a good one um right we're just looking through chat so don't worry we're looking someone's asking about twio credits um no twio credits so we are not providing too credits but you can actually test things out using too's demo accounts um like that's how when I was first building with voice I use toio demo account worked absolutely fine so yeah should be fine great question next one is any tips on making your AI agent call faster so reducing latency response time increasing reaction time yeah big question so um the answer is yes um I showed you some of those settings a little bit earlier which you know you can play around with them and it can really help another thing I recommend doing is like thinking about prompts so we've got everything in one big prompt here to show you can do that but like sometimes if you just need to do something quick like at the end we summarize for example that's its own prompt it's separate it's nice and quick because it's such a short prompt um so optimizing prompts is important H you can also use filler words so you can be like hey like let me look right up for you and then like do an action using like a function for example and then say something else just like creating that expectation that's going to be a pores can really help and then finally um if you are getting like Giant porsa like and you're doing like API calls to functions just make sure you're not using like a really slow API I think that's like a big thing that happens yeah it's like very clunky yeah yeah down and if you have to like there's ways of like integrating that naturally into an experience but don't just like have it Midway for a conversation like you add like filler where it's like like give me a moment I'll look that up for you yeah yeah for sure great question uh next one is can you submit multiple projects yes you totally could yeah why not um shoot your shot uh subit multiple projects it is two weeks so I'm sure you could probably come up with quite a few so yeah just make sure each submission meets all the entry requirements and it will qualify Y and people are asking about whether or not you can like build stuff on like a free tier as well yeah you can um so voice is available on a free tier there is like limitations of course in terms of AI tokens and all that kind of stuff but don't worry we got you you can you can build them free and uh you know if you're new to Voice Low there is a free trial on the as well for the first 14 days if you sign up and again if you submit anything you will automatically and it qualifies you'll automatically get 5 million AI tokens so more than enough for you to to try it out great question from Charles do different voices cost more or less tokens like Google versus 11 Labs yes so this is where the quality versus price argument comes in I'm sure you're well aware of this with like prompting is the same like longer prompts or longer responses to prompts can use up more tokens exactly the same thing with voices uh for example like 11 lamps voices cause significantly more than Alexa voices so you know if you need a natural starting agent you probably want to use like something like 11 laps where it's really high quality voices um you know depending on your use case you might not need that like if you're building like an internal tool for example maybe the quality of the voice is important but less important so you know think about that trade-off um when you're deciding how to build your project yeah for sure all right next question we have here is um will we Implement our idea or will you provide us the idea um so yeah I thought I'd throw this on this is completely up to you what you want to build obviously you can use some of the inspiration that we showed in Jac's demo as well as I think we had a slide just on different ideas that you could explore but yeah Crea a free Reigns show us what you can build um show us an idea a real problem that you want to solve as well I think that's that's really the Crux of this so yeah get creative H roof and chat is going uh crazy if I submit 10 projects gonna get millions of tokens no the tokens are one per one per person you can't submit like a gazillion project that's a hack yeah but I I like your thinking roof um I wish yeah I totally wish too yeah uh this is a question around can projects be submitted in other languages uh that's totally fine as well so if you want to submit a project that is in your language like Spanish for from Diego that's that's fine yeah yeah cool any other ones I've missed in chat uh I can see one here um it says when you are offering tokens um let just call this on screen are you talking about llm model do Bo still have an underlying llm if so what llm is that really good question so voice flow actually supports a bunch of different llms natively um so we support like the open AI LMS we support um which ones there's a bunch like Claude has another one there's like I think five or six yeah and then of course different like versions of different uh models are supported uh you can just if you create a prompt in voice flow you can press like the settings button in the top Corner uh and then change to what you're using so again like if you're used to using AI you probably want to use like you know gbt 40 if you're trying to do like you know something a bit more complex maybe you can fall back to like a simpler model um if if you're not doing anything super complex like it's a really basic summary so again different uh models cost different amount of tokens uh but you can choose the llm within reason and then on top of that if we don't support an llm that you want to use you actually can use a function to call it manually as long as it's hosted somewhere of course that is separate from the token system but it does mean you can do some really really cool things yeah check out our Marketplace I think we have a few other functions that are calling other models that we don't offer natively so yeah check that out yeah right next question from Edwin love this one would you expect a full breakdown tutorial video explaining the full build or just a quick overview I would say definitely over index on the demo and the problem that you're solving and then just keep a quick highlight of like core each parts of your build um honestly pull inspiration from Jaclyn's tutorials not to pluger too much but um yeah make sure you're just really highlighting the core parts of the build that are cool features that you've created um but really focus on showing off the demo and how cool your build is your video is basically your chance to tell us why you're should win right yeah yeah give us a story tell us like why you decided to create or choose your idea we we'd love to know yeah awesome okay H when will we know the winner big question question so course uh submissions are doing I think it's two weeks yes um officially give us at least a week uh but we're going to try and get winners to as soon as possible just we might have quite a lot of people's uh projects to look at so it will not be on submission day yes exactly so roughly a week uh you'll hear hear back with from us via email uh and we'll share all the details how you can claim your prize as well as yeah basically everything you need to know I mean I know already people really want to wear those voice pack contents seven days a week yeah yeah like we do yeah uh criteria used to evaluate the projects is originality features Etc that's a great question yeah so there the basics like you definitely need to be making sure you're using voice on voice flow that's right um you definitely need to make sure you're uh doing something novel so as Kim mentioned if you're building like an AI custom support agent that just answers questions it's probably not what we're looking for we're looking for you to use a feature and use it all on the actual page on notion we're looking for it like you know connect Integrations dotion outbound calling uh multimodal would be really cool you can play around with chat and voice as well alternating between like maybe sending a text mid mid call like lots you can do just really push the boundaries of what conventionally people know of voice agents just only being a simple FAQ yeah thought like we we're looking for more than that so the criteria is effectively like if it's original if it has some crazy features that we not even thought of yeah you know if it really does solve a real world problem yeah that's what we're looking for right yeah yeah all right hey this question is is there way that chat experience can be controlled by the call experience say users on a chat window but also on the call talking to the voice agent uh pushing the dynamic Carousel to the user chat window I haven't tried this before um so this is a little bit in the weed so if you not used vo before don't worry if this is a little bit confusing uh but you have like a user ID um on your website uh on voice you also have a um user ID as well of course at the user ID will be a phone number um and and it's like in like I think it's plus one or plus your country code and then the phone number in that format um I haven't tested out uh using both together but try setting both to the same user ID and and see what you can do because I'm sure you can do some really cool things yeah yeah cool just gonna split us up here um bu more questions don't worry we're coming to you there we go um cool any any other ones I've missed here um someone said I used notion in My Demo can use Google Sheets for CRM instead yeah use whatever you want I just use notion because it's a nice easy demo uh like people use air table people use zenes people use like all sorts of stuff if you look at our Marketplace as functions for a lot of different Services already but you're welcome to build your own I love it when people think of like a service that doesn't already have functions and they build something really Niche um because it's like wow this is really valuable for like a specific industry so recommend doing that yeah totally uh this question is can we build a custom code solution using Voice API and the voice AI um for this competition you need to be using vo L's voice feature so that does mean uh using like inbound or outbound calling we have an API to trigger an outbound call for context um but if you want to like build like write a front end that triggers that that's completely fine um like if you are going to use like what I wouldn't say do is like build like your own like text to speech or whatever and like just use the the like built-in widget like that's probably not what we're looking for yeah but you know if you can do something cool that triggers an outbound cool and like it's like a super personalized experience I don't see anything wrong with that yes love that all right see see anything else that we've missed here uh are we planning to integrate mystal AI into our Solutions it's incredibly Pat fast and could be highly relevant um I don't know it's the honest answer like I wouldn't ever say never because uh we've built in a bunch of different models what I would say today right now if you wanted to ad mystal AI support you can just use the API in a function and call it like that um so maybe that would give you a bit of an advantage yeah that's I call it um all right let's see wanted to know if I can submit a solution that is built with different components for example more than one voice project yes yeah yes you totally could I'm actually really curious what would need more from one project assignment so let us know in chat I'm yeah that sounds very cool whatever idea you've yeah uh this one is kind of numbers that we support um uh we should support any numbers twio support I do know that India has complicated regulations um on phone numbers sometimes like getting a twilio number with like a plus 91 country code can be a little bit difficult sometimes I think um so um you're welcome to um like test like there's a bunch of virtual calling services like Skype for example I think you get a phone number on I use Google Voice but I think that's us only there's a bunch of different options um so if you can test on like a a non- Indian number if you have issues but I I think you should be able to get an Indian number set up and if you're having issues um try using like a different country's number to call an Indian number and it should be fine um is it mandatory to have a number it can be voed over internet calling um we're prioritizing I think using voice cl's like voice feature so that means e inbound calling or outbound calling via like the voice integration natively I think yeah yeah awesome great question okay uh this one is how we can test the latency and if we're building this with the team and they take a video on our be our behalf is that fine uh latter half of that question that's totally fine if you want to work with the team that's also fine um thousand total not each though USD so figure out the division there but um yeah that's fine on on the second half and in terms of how to test latency yeah so you can actually test your agent directly in voice flow so uh you know how you mentioned that uh like voice agents and text agents there the same thing um so you can just press test your agent in the bottom corner and literally just see how long it takes to respond H so you don't need to worry about calling your agent every time you can test in editor love that yes okay cool um how can I brainstorm more ideas for agents well we work in a company that uses a lot of AI so open up at chat GPT or Google Gemini or or whatever you like and uh start asking it some questions my friend would be my recommendation honestly yeah and as well join the Discord Channel other people will probably be be in there asking questions sharing what they're building so pop in there throw in your idea see what folks think you know and give it a shot yeah another one is like if we integrate with a CRM or a database do we need to give us access to test the whole experience in validate the answer to that is no um but what I would say is if you're connecting to a CRM in a database you might and it like requires like a specific structure or specific Fields uh you might want to use like the notes feature on vo loow to just add notes into your template like I do if you look at the starter templates if there something unclear um like if you go and create a new template on voice Lo choose scheduler I actually walk you through like here's how you get the stuff from cal.com and a video embedded into a template so anytime the sitting and clear like that I would recommend adding in notes or some kind of explanation but you don't need to give us access um but someone should be able to like reasonably get your template and then like recreate whatever is needed um and then use it great and then we also have a few questions here around tutorials and being fairly new are there any training modules to learn how to build in voice flow whoa uh youtube.com voico I think that's it it might be voo TV I'm going to check that right now youtube.com voico yeah that's it yeah um we have voice flow Basics there's more videos coming out this week that are ones with purple and they have a very very core fundamentals of voice flow we also have some specific videos about how to build on voice in there as well so go check that out if you are seeing gaps on YouTube just let us Discord if we want to make more videos and I will in the very very near future be making a full video on the agent we showed you today so just keep it on YouTube yeah for sure okay cool and then this is another one does voice of voer have python support so not you can use functions over JavaScript step to natively run uh code on vo FL but of course it's JavaScript however if you want to go and connect to something like a server or um a reversal application um or even like a replit app that's running um python code you can then just either use the API step or build a function to go and talk about running python code and send it back into voice flow like just using an API call that works completely fine too yeah okay last few questions here before we wrap up uh will there be more information on analytics for those who use AI instead of intense yeah so this is coming yeah we know you'll want better analytics that coming we promise it's coming yeah it's on its way yeah it's on its way awesome cool uh final question let's let's choose a choose the last one to end off here well how about as we're looking for the final question in chat we got a question for you does anyone have any really cool ideas already yeah throw them in chat we'd love to know uh I'll throw back up the prompt slide too so folks can yeah and while you're doing that R did ask is it possible for a person to submit more than one entry the answer is yes you can yes but the little entry prize you get just for entering is is one per person you cannot become a token millionaire my J no that would be honestly a crazy hack though yeah yeah cool yeah so let us know in chat if you have any cool ideas you're already thinking of uh if not meet us on Discord uh we we're really really excited to see what folks built and we're super hyped to see you in office hours as well make sure you submit before the deadline remember that is 11:59 p.m. eastern time not your local time zone I'm getting like School PTSD flashbacks heing that yes um and yes we will send out the recording on YouTube you can also access this recording link right at the same link after we uh end off the live event yeah so you will have everything you need to know just check out email check out YouTube uh and it we'll send out all the competition details and because I know people in chat are about to ask it can we show on screen one more time the link we can go to for all of the details as well yes yes yes yes here we go link. voicey flow.com competition I'll put that in chat right now for you yes and I'll also even add a full CTA popup so people can click in as we speak um yeah amazing amazing cool super excited to see excited yes thank you everyone for joining us today at the kof and uh we'll see you in a couple weeks or in office hours yeah all right good luck everybody bye good luck
