[Applause] nothing more than to P up my roots and rep [Music] myself hi guys so I'm back with another small customization video um this one's for the people who kind of like Windows Phone 7 and the way it looks and maybe want to emulate that kind of experience um so basically it's just a few apps that I've kind of linked together to you know create a Windows Phone es kind of feel um everything's fully functional it all works little animations and stuff like that like especially for this messaging app I really like some of the animations that um come with it it's pretty smooth and works quite well so um yeah it's not hard to do it's just kind of linking all of these apps uh into seven launcher or Launcher 7 sorry um all available from the marketplace and um yeah so it's quite quite easy and quite simple but um yeah so as you can see here um it's fully functional you can press on a contact and kind of um choose your options of what you want to do um can message and dial and stuff like that except um as you saw there it came up with the name fil when I pressed on the name Aaron so there's a few little glitches that have to be worked out but that's rare and not really that uh important but yeah so um anyway the best way to uh compare how this feel is like is to actually um you know compare it with the actual Windows Phone 7 device so on the left I've got my HD2 running Windows Phone 7 obviously on the right is um this setup with the Samsung Galaxy notes so going into the contacts uh or people Hub as it's called in Windows F 7 it's a little bit different um don't have any contacts or anything on there so not very useful there yeah it kind of works um the same but just looks a little different um the dialers you know fairly similar um go inside messaging as we saw before but comparing with um Windows Phone 7 pretty much the same it looks you know quite nice and Simple and Clean so yeah it's just the same kind of feeling you're getting there so yeah that's really the beauty of Android you've got so many different options of uh customization and changing the look and feel of your device which is um you know just great to have um just as a side point here I've got a uh messaging uh notifications application called Windows Phone 7 notifications uh it's unintrusive and you can just slide away to uh dismiss or click on it to actually get the message um the task bar comes down the same way as uh Windows Phone 7 but that's only within um uh Launcher 7 it's just one of the options um hopping into music now um it's an application called Uber player uh once again it will be in the description and it's kind of like a zoom um feel so you kind of just swipe left and right to uh change your different categories my only gripe with this uh application though would be that it's a little bit unintuitive it's um not that straightforward to use it's not you know obviously complicated or anything like that but a straightforward music player would be um a little bit better but I guess this just looks pretty cool um don't have have to have it there if you don't want it um yeah so it works just how you expect it once you've got it into the now playing mode um yeah so you know as you can see it's it's a good effort it's not um perfect but um this whole setup Works quite well um I I I do like it but um you know it's probably just going to be a thing that I kind of switch on and off it's not going to be uh my primary um interface but yeah so um that that's pretty much it I haven't really um experimented that long with it only probably like for half an hour so yeah setting up isn't that hard um when you install Launcher 7 um you'll first get this application pick a screen or a initialization so you kind of uh have to assign a uh uh live tile to an application so in my messaging I've got messaging Metro beta um for my dialer I've got Windows Phone 7 contacts light and for my music I've got Uber player um that's the basics I'm pretty sure you can just um add as many you want and assign anything anywhere you want it to go so you know it's all yours guys so um just have fun playing around with this and uh so yeah it's just a nice little fun thing to have hopefully got something out of it guys don't forget to rate comment and subscribe cheers guys [Music]
