[Music] hello everyone and welcome to another cold fuson video this time we're going to be talking about the well-renowned Galaxy Note 3 so it's that time of year again the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is tipped for an early September announcement the note series is pretty much a perfect idea with no serious competition as of yet so because of this it's pretty much impossible for some to screw up unless they do something truly stupid if you want proof of how good this phone will be just look at the Note 2 till now the Galaxy Note 2 is without a doubt still one of the best devices on the market and you can even go as far as to say it is one of the best devices ever made other manufacturers are starting to wake up now and beginning to take this tablet phone market seriously until now the general public and most manufacturers kind of just laughed and thought it was a stupid idea of an oversized phone but seeing Samsung success they're starting to get on board I guess I was preaching this 2 years ago but no one really listened back then anyway this year everyone from HTC to Sony to LG are releasing their tablet phones but the thing to note is outside of the Asian market no one can match the infinite advertising budget of Samsung the three phones going against the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at this stage is the HTC 1 Max the LG Optimus G Pro and Sony's exper IED Ultra and the only reason you've probably heard about any of those is because you follow Tech the general public has no idea about these devices let's take a quick look at something that exists already The xeria Zed Ultra it's arguably more aesthetically pleasing probably made out a better build materials is very Snappy has a bigger screen and a better user interface than TouchWiz and works with any pen or pencil not just a stylus wouldn't this do better than the Note 3 are you kidding imagine that this ship is Samsung's marketing power and that dry land that it's running over well that's every other smartphone competitor all marketing power belongs to Samsung all right well that's enough context and backstory for now what do we know well we know a fair bit about the device but let's break it up into three categories design hardware and software all right design the Note 3 is said to be about 8 mm thin and it's probably going to retain that plastic body style with the removable back panel with a thinner bezel out of my own gut I'm going to say there's an 85% chance that Samsung's going to play it safe and stick with a larger Galaxy S4 design a speaker Grill on the top a physical home button at the bottom a capacitor button for the menu on the left and a capacitor button for the back button on the right nothing new fun or exciting here guys and I personally have a little bit of a problem with that but I guess that's a whole different story for another video and we're probably not going to see Samsung's uh unbreakable flexible screen that's been floating around for a couple of years now I'm I'm going to say it's going to be at least another year before we see it on any Samsung device and they're not going to take that risk with the Galaxy Note series just [Music] yet as you can see I've got a few leaked images floating around the background and some of these are quite interesting because they seem to have more squared corners but I don't think Samsung's really going to venture out too far from uh their standard iconic design okay so let's move on to the hardware let's begin with the CPU for the American version we're most probably going to have a Snapdragon 800 CPU this summer a dragon is coming not to a theater not to an enchanted Little Village nope this dragon is coming to your phone well technically in your phone make sure your next phone has the Blockbuster Speed and Performance hundreds of millions already love make sure it has a Snapdragon processor so that's a 28 nm crate 400 CPU clocked at up to 2.3 GHz per core and for the international version we're probably going to have the exos 5 chipset which is of course that octacore CPU unit if you don't know already this unit consists of uh eight cores four high intensity tasks a15 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and four low intensity tasks which are A7 processors clocked at uh about 1.2 GHz the clock speed may be bumped up a little bit for this but we'll have to wait see let's move on to the [Music] GPU this is something that is very very interesting here the Snapdragon 800 CPU features the adreno 330 GPU and this actually has a 50% performance increase over the adrino 320 and this was used just in the Galaxy S4 so this is just Madness now and if that is the case then this would mean that the American version would blow the international version right out of the water unless say Samsung does something drastic to the GPU inside of the octacore unit so we're just going to have to wait and see what uh happens here maybe there's going to be a drastic clock speed increase or something of that manner but it's very interesting to see how the performance will be with the international version versus the US version of the Galaxy Note 3 now let's move on to the ram now this is kind of interesting because just a couple of days ago when I was uh looking at some research for this video some rumors started surfacing that there will be 3 GB of DDR3 RAM for the Galaxy Note 3 and you heard right 3 GB so this means that uh the Galaxy Note 3 is a actual computer now pretty much a Powerhouse so uh when you're talking about 3 GB of not only just Ram but DDR3 RAM it'll take years for the app developers to get to the point of actually utilizing this properly but we do have the power so let's uh just see what we can push this thing to when um I get my hands on it okay onto the screen size now this is very important for uh the Galaxy Note not series what is the screen size of this device going to be as much as I'd like to unfortunately at this time of recording I cannot give you a concrete answer but the latest leaks are saying a 5.7 in screen now when we compare that to the Sony xeria Zed Ultra which is a 6.4 in screen this seems quite small but then again many people don't want to screen over 6 in in their pocket uh previous room as we saying 6.1 in and 5.99 in so we're not really sure there but uh it is probably going to be 1080p Super AMOLED screen and that's pretty much expected but then again this 5.7 in screen will of course work in Samsung's favor because uh that means that they've been bumping the screen size up each year by 0.2 in which is a steady rate and predictable rate in addition to this Samsung probably wouldn't want to cannibalize their Galaxy Mega sales so soon after its release moving on to the camera it seems that it's going to be a 13 megapix rear shooter with a 2.1 map camera at the front and uh of course the Spen has going to be improved probably with some uh better grip styling and maybe some extra pressure sensitivity maybe going up to 248 levels and of course the battery now the battery life on the Galaxy Note 2 was just unsurpassed I just loved how long it lasted but uh some people are saying that it's going to be a 3,700 mAh battery inside of this Beast so if that's true that's going to be excellent all right so the final bit of this story is the software it seems as if Google's going to release Android 4.3 in July so much like the Galaxy Note 2 the Galaxy Note 3 will receive the latest version of Android Straight Out of the Box so this is going to be Android 4.3 that's a big thumbs up there so much like the S4 the Galaxy Note 3 will receive all of those features some say that they're kind of useless some like using them it's all up to opinion so air scroll Air Gesture Air View air air air air air Etc so let's just hope it doesn't bug down the phone like it did for the S4 and I trust that Samsung has really learned about efficiency this this time round it's just that some people were complaining that the S4 seemed a little bit sluggish compared to the S3 even so I hope Samsung gets it right this time moving on the camera may have something called Samsung orb which is similar to the 360° Photosphere camera app which is in the stock Android uh 4.2 and aside from this there's going to be a whole bunch of S Note tweaks and a return of airview with the stylus and of course multi- window which is my favorite thing about the Galaxy Note series and even the S4 and the Galaxy Series in general and apart from these not much else is known though so we should uh keep our ears to the internet and see what happens so that's all well and good and dandy so that's about all we know about the Galaxy Note 2 at this stage and I'm getting pretty excited about this device it seems like it's going to be quite a beast as all of the note series have been in the past so we'll see how powerful this thing really is but anyway thanks for watching guys and uh just remember all of this
