my time the past year doing youtube making videos hopefully helping you guys on your own journeys entertaining you all good to catch you live too but i think return on time is kind of almost more important than roi like if you have a thousand percent roi but it's 100 years that's not good or if you have a 2x roi but it's on a dollar that's not really great return on investment and so i think we're turn on time and this is what i was thinking about this week is that if you have like let's say five hours to work what is my view on elon musk nsnl sweet um i think it's [ __ ] cool i think sorry mom i think it's super cool william good to see you so i think all of us can think about with what is the highest return on our time right and it's really interesting so if you have five hours that's how much you probably really work maybe in a week like good work you guys tynan that's like that's good for a month but i think it's fascinating just think what is the best return of my time so into and what is the best return on that and i will say this week working on some of the appsumo things that are going down which are really interesting i was like yo my time and one hear me out i'm quickly but i think someone like tynen me a lot of hopefully a lot of you guys out there you know it takes time to put the work in and then you get the results and so appsumo has been you know the same thing over and over for 11 years and so i did find people like ayman to help run the company that are better at that and then i think it's finding your place within a company or within whatever work you're doing that you're like man i could do this for the rest of my life yes dude this is exactly right i think the other thing to consider with like growing a company and not doing accounting is also what do you enjoy right i will say i enjoy this ochai latte for real men only way more than i expect that's pretty funny way more than i expected but if you enjoy the accounting or if you youtube like the thing dude do you wanna hear an interesting thing from today you wanna see something so on twitter i posted a thing just to show you from marketing perspective i posted a thing where i was like here's something something something this thing right here i posted it a day ago or two days ago and i included like adam's name like thanks adam for telling me this just including his name like reduced the amount of people that liked it it never even got this high it only got 18. so it's kind of been interesting like one thing i've been doing is like just from a marketer like just this alone in an hour 39 people liked it versus like they didn't even reach that much because i had other things on it so i've been trying something out where like on instagram i tried doing like these are actually i don't know these like you know my thoughts but people love this stuff so i kind of just take one of them and then i just tweet each one instead of tweeting all of it and i don't know honestly people seem to really like it interesting so i think this is cool that you just take your social media stuff and recycle it over and over and over it's like you're taking your tweets putting on instagram it's like you didn't really do that much extra work for it that's pretty cool yeah no it's great i think we're people are doing too much work i do that with a so my stupid email that i was sending on a friday the reason that was created because i would spend all this time thinking of stuff to post on twitter which is like a mini blog post and then it just goes away it's just gone
