The truth about college degrees

#shorts I wish somebody had told me this earlier 👇 Growth in any field comes down to 2 elements: 1️⃣ Knowledge 2️⃣ Experience The traditional educational system is great for gaining knowledge, but it lacks in providing tangible experience… I have a degree in Computer Science and understand algorithms, how most technology works and how it’s built, but I can’t do any of it myself That’s Knowledge without Experience… On the other hand I am a self-taught marketer: - I was an intern under the best in marketing - I started my own ventures and marketed them - I studied and applied lessons for 8 years That’s an Experience driven approach… So why am I telling you this? I want you to realise that a degree isn’t anything special You don’t need it to conquer your field (in most cases - good luck becoming a doctor without one) As long as you are smart about gaining: 1️⃣ Knowledge (through books, mentors, workshops) 2️⃣ And then apply it to gain Experience (passion projects, business ventures, for others) You will be able to win 🏆 👹• Share this motivation with others P.S. Throughout my 8 years working with hundreds of clients including global corporations such as UNICEF, FEMA, Cambridge Clothing - nobody has asked for my degree
