i thought that today we can go and have a look at the brand new in-painting and out-painting feature introduced in the dream studio website now as you can see here if you scroll down to the bottom of the page and you click on this button here that says show editor you will have now plenty of new options available and you know that on this channel if there is something that i do not like i will let you know so if this does not work correctly well i will be the first one to let you know i will not be the kind of channel that would go around and say oh my god guys look this is amazing when a reality that doesn't work as well as it should be or as well as a hoped so basically everything that we're going to be doing today will be live so you will have my reaction if i like it if i don't i will let you know okay so before we start with the image editor how about we create a brand new image from scratch and i'll try to copy a prompt that i have let's try this one i'm gonna keep it with the default settings for now and maybe try to generate at least two pictures with the 1.5 model and the k lms sampler click on dream okay the this one looks actually pretty good i think i'm gonna be using this one so basically if you want to use this image in an editor now you can simply click on this button here open in editor and there you go now we are inside the image editor inside the website so what i want to do now is erase part of the image and then write a prompt that will modify the parts that i just erased so i kind of want to change the maybe the color of our eyes so i'm just doing the crease brush size a little bit now i don't know if this is gonna work of course i'm just trying it out i'm just gonna put blue eyes i'm gonna make two images and click on dream okay the first image is actually not that bad obviously i think this could have been done better maybe if we try again if we actually erase a little bit more of the eyes maybe the entire eye create maybe like beautiful blue eyes and click on dream okay uh not exactly the kind of results that i really hoped maybe it was actually better before i mean it's still pretty cool it gives a different feel to the image almost like cybernetic eyes this one is almost like i don't know frozen animated something like that how about so basically here we have different options i didn't even explain it but here you have an option to select and move the image so you can basically try to move the image and try out painting so if you decrease here the size of the image and just place it like on the center here you can basically create a prompt that will uh try to blend the image with the outside here you have the masking as i just showed it will erase part of the image here is the brush size the brush blur which is basically how uh how much blur you're gonna see on the outside so the more blur the uh the better the blending will be and the less is the more sharp it will be the strength is the is the power of the brush so the more powerful everything will be erased and the less powerful the less it will be erased and here you have another button that says restore and basically restores the thing that you erased and i'm gonna actually restore the eyes that i uh erased previously and here initial image mode can basically toggle between the image to image option which is also another feature they added a few weeks ago which actually also works pretty well i'm actually very happy with that but today we gonna be trying the out painting method so what i want to do now is try to erase the exterior of the image and kind of try to create a different background for this character and try to see if this works so i'm going to select the brush size a big brush blur because we really want a nice blend okay as you can see here i've basically erased every border of the previous image to only leave the the face part and now since everything was was erased with a important brush blur if i create a new prompt now now i'm just trying it out so i'm trying the prompt um young beautiful girl who is an egyptian architect with egypt city in the background this is the exact same prompt that i was you that was used for the creation of the face so if i use the same exact um details and just changing basically the background i'm hoping that it will basically blend and create the rest of the image with the same exact style so let's actually make three images so you have more options and click on dream yeah [Music] okay um not great okay um again click on dream yeah um not exactly what i was expecting um how about okay let's try maybe this one because so far that's not working as intended yeah oh my god um oh my god i mean um well yeah i mean i don't know how to make this work to be honest um this worked way better in delhi i'm gonna be honest so that didn't work as expected unfortunately as i said uh i'm trying it out seeing if it works or not and i'm just letting you know what kind of results i get you know so everything is live um this is my live reaction so now i'm trying it out with a new prompt this time we're gonna try to create a background so this time we're joining out with background view of an artificial intelligence layer general quarters click on dream see what kind of results we can get okay it looks pretty good um i think i like this one more i'm gonna download it and i'm gonna try to edit in the editor and what i'm gonna do now is i'm gonna impaint here and what i want is a cyber dog we have the exact same prompt just trying it out okay click on dream i'm hoping to see a cybernetic dog sitting here i mean this is what i want uh okay no that's that's not exactly what i wanted that's for sure um how about just sitting and i'm not gonna i'm actually gonna delete everything after that i'm just gonna put cyberdog sitting yeah then i don't know which one is the worst to be honest okay i'm gonna try again okay everything was deleted um okay it's somehow deleting the mask i'm gonna try one again click on dream okay uh yeah i'm really not pleased with the results to be honest um because you know what i'm gonna do i'm gonna try to the same prompt in dell e2 because although i don't like that e2 i don't like their business model i don't like how expensive it is actually i'm gonna do the exact same thing i'm gonna mask a part of the image and then copy and paste the same exact prompt click on generate wow yeah yeah that's i mean this one even this one is actually okay they're definitely better than the one we did in stable diffusion that's for sure i mean this is this one is actually decent you know so i'm gonna take this one i'm gonna download it then i'm gonna use that image i'm editing dali and then i'm gonna try out painting it this time i'm just gonna put it here all right now i'm gonna do the exact same thing i'm just gonna erase the border of the image a nice blur so that it blends well with the outside okay as you can see here i erased the border of the image and i replaced again the prompt with the same exact prompt that i used to create this image and then i'm going to click on dream let's select the number of image and select four okay and then click on dream to see what kind of image we can get and um yeah that's that that's not great i mean it it's not bad um i mean this one is pretty original um this one is probably the one that works the best that doesn't blend that well this one is okay so the best two is this one where you can see that yeah it's fine it's okay it does blend pretty well with the outside then you can see that there is a problem with the lighting they don't really respect and here you have plenty of colors and here it's a little bit more whitish so that doesn't work as well here is pretty i would say pretty original because here it's almost like different architecture almost like a completely different style and here it's almost like you enter a new world almost like a portal to a brand new dimension a brand new era and you know what i'm i'm going to do now the exact same thing in daly 2 it's going to erase the exact same amount so we have a fair comparison with the different results i'm going to go back copy and paste the prompt here and put it here in delhi and then i'm just gonna move the generation frame like here for example complete paste the prompt and click on generate and wow i mean i mean immediately you get a way better result than anything we've had so far in stable diffusion i mean just like this one the first one the first option is already like almost like perfect a perfect continuation of the lines the architecture that we have here's a second one again pretty good very nice also i don't know which one i like the most maybe this one i like yeah i think i like this one the most probably i like this circular motion i'm gonna click on accept and again you know how easy it is just again new frame uh we get the little error here so even dali 2 is not perfect which is well it's good to know we have somehow some kind of again a watermark here i don't know where it's from i don't know why it created this but the architecture itself is actually pretty good this one is nice doesn't have any watermark and again another watermark so i mean this is the only usable one because it doesn't have any watermark but even this one is actually really good and i'm just gonna extend it here click on generate and again the very first image that we get very first proposition is already amazing already perfect um absolutely amazing result with delhi ii i mean this one is a bit better i think yeah i think this one i really like the most even a spaceship well it even added a spaceship which i i did not add in the prompt but it understood that this was a artificial intelligence layer that it was um futuristic and added a new like spaceship or a vehicle here you know just for the sake of like the effort i'm probably i mean this one is the cleaner one but i think just for the sake of effort i will i will keep this one click on accept and then on the last frame click on generate and again very good generation plenty of generation to choose from i don't know which one i like the most maybe this one i kind of like this one that's more details yeah i think i'm gonna keep this one click on accept and then i'm just gonna save the image and there you go this is the final image made in daly too very very very impressive i mean you don't even see the seams between the image i mean this is really well done by daly too definitely way better than anything we've done with stable diffusion which actually even like really it's it's night and day i mean yeah definitely very good result with danny too i'm not really pleased with the result that i get with stable diffusion in painting and out painting unfortunately but of course stable diffusion we know that it will get better i saw a tweet recently which actually really uh made me laugh a little bit because of how incredible it is um is that yeah stable diffusion is only 30 days old i mean it's insane stable diffusion really came out publicly only one month ago i mean this is amazingly fast this technology improves um you can see here even a lot of people created they tried it out they had pretty amazing results but unfortunately for me i did not really have the exact same result as them maybe if i keep trying and trying again um maybe i would get good results maybe i don't know how to use it properly that's also possible but definitely when you compare it to how delhi 2 currently works the current out painting and impainting and how incredibly powerful and precise it is stable diffusion definitely has a way to go definitely has a lot to improve but as i said previously stable diffusion is only 30 days old and this is just the beginning and if we can only make this at the beginning of stable diffusion imagine what kind of technology imagine what kind of results we would get in around six months or maybe a year so you know stable diffusion will definitely get better with time whereas with daly although they sometimes add the new stuff you don't really understand why they're not public why daily 2 is still so private about their technology and what kind of changes are coming so daily will of course improve over time also but i'm personally more interested in the development of stable diffusion in the near future so as i said in my previous video if you want to use stable diffusion if you want to try now this website all you have to do is just create a new account you get 200 free credits that you can use to generate pictures so if you cannot run stable diffusion on your own computer i think using the official dream studio website is
