In this UPDATED video, I show you how to install Z-IMAGE BASE in 1 click, how to run it both locally and on RunPod, how to tweak the settings for the best balance of speed and quality on low VRAM, and how to use my ComfyUI workflow to get ultra clean, detailed images that look like they came from a paid enterprise model. But here’s the BIG upgrade: I’m adding the new 8-Step Distill LoRA, so you can generate in 8 steps instead of ~25 while keeping crazy good quality, and I’m also adding the ControlNet Union model so you can FINALLY use ControlNet properly with Z-Image Base (pose, depth, lineart, reference control, the whole thing). And the BIG difference vs Z-IMAGE-TURBO is still the same: this is the BASE model, meaning real finetuning and training is possible, so the community can cook up new LoRAs, styles, characters and insane custom versions.
