what's up party people my name is daryl wilson today in this video we'll be showing you guys how to use google adwords step by step now google adwords is one of the best ways to build your brand and promote your business it's also a great way to start your branding campaigns and to get traffic to your i've been using google adwords for about three to four years i've spent a little over two hundred thousand dollars on google adwords and i make anywhere between twenty to thirty thousand dollars a month with adwords now there's a lot to cover in this video but by the end of this video you guys will know how to properly utilize google adwords and you also know how to create successful google adword campaigns now we're gonna break this video up into four different sections section one i'll teach you how to create a google adwords accounts we will explore some of the basic options and get you ready to create your first google ads in section 2 i'll teach you how to create a google dynamics search ad and a google search ad these ads are displayed within the google search i'll explain how to pick your audience how to select keywords talk about site links and common errors most beginners make with adwords i'll explain what a google search partner is and talk about specific options within your campaigns i will also show you how to read the adwords analytics and integrate google adwords to your wordpress website in section 3 i'll teach you how to use the google display network and create a google display ad a display ad is a banner or text ad that appears on various websites within the google display networks these ads are very effective for branding and showcasing your product service or websites in section 4 i'll talk about resources i'll show you some additional free resources that can help you create optimal google ads to make sure that you get clicks and visitors to your website you guys ready let's go ahead and go to step one and create your google adwords account alright and this is google adwords and this is where you guys can sign up and make an account now in order to use adwords you guys must have a gmail account if you guys don't have one i'll go ahead and show you guys how to create one if you guys do have one you'll just go ahead and sign in with your gmail account so i'll go over here and click on start now also i left this link in the description below this video so you guys can just click that link and i'll take you directly to that page now i'm going to go ahead and make an account for the very first time to walk you through the setup process so i'll go ahead and click on use another accounts and i'll create a new account for myself and here i'll just put in some general information so now you're going to enter in some login credentials now instead of using my current email address i'm going to create a new email address instead and i'll go ahead and put it in here i'll enter a password and i'll click on next all right and this is the current setup wizard now google tends to change this quite often in fact they probably change this every single month so it's really hard to keep updated tutorials on this however in my experience i always want to go back to the dashboard and i don't want to navigate through their wizard so at the bottom right here i'll click on switch to expert mode it's not really expert mode it's just a way to go back to your original dashboard and they just try to make it sound more complicated than it really is all right cool and once you guys do that it'll take you to your google ads dashboard this is where all the magic happens this is where you can get a quick snapshot of your analytics and also where you can create campaigns before we create a campaign i just want to introduce you all to some of the tools and general settings at the top right here you can see tools and settings over here we have billing let's click on summary now this is where you can add in your credit card now i believe having a credit card is required to make an ad i think google has actually changed this i'm not sure but if you get an error saying that your ads don't run it's because you need to add some sort of payments you can add your credit card here or your debit card or your paypal or your bank accounts so you'll go ahead and add in your payment gateway and then once you do that you'll click on submit and save i'll go ahead and exit back here now there's another option that i also want to introduce you all to all right so once you guys add a payment gateway up here at tools and settings i want to click on preferences now this is where you can adjust the language for your adwords accounts also sometimes google may you know pause your account or restrict it or do something if that ever happens to you you can actually view your account status right here i'll be very honest sometimes google will randomly just block your account or they'll freeze it for whatever reason and you have to contact them in my career of using google ads this has happened sometimes so if you do get no impressions or no clicks on any of your ads just go ahead and check out your account status and make sure it's active now let's go ahead and click on the tools and settings again and here we have access and security now if you guys do want to grant access to your adwords accounts to maybe an employee or your friend or even an seo company this is where you do it so for example if you hire someone they're saying hey can i have access to your adwords account this is where you do it at so up here we have this plus button and this is where you enter an email address and from here you guys can give specific access to whatever user so for example like we can put like my email address right and i'll just say like i want daryl to have access to the administrator to standard to read only billing or email and stuff like that so again this is where you can pretty much create another user role for anyone that wants to use the adwords account on your behalf so that's pretty much it guys for setting up your google ads accounts go ahead and take her with some of the options get used to it but now let's go ahead and go to section two and create our first google search ad all right party people welcome to section two so in this part of the video i'll be showing you guys how to create a google search ad now i'll be showing you how to create two different type of search ads i'll show you how to create a dynamic ad and also just a normal google search ad and i'll explain the differences between both and here's a quick little snapshot of my accounts we can see that we have spent a little over two hundred thousand dollars on this account and we have a lot of our campaigns and just a bunch of numbers and analytics and stuff and uh yeah i don't really even look at this too much to be honest i look at a majority of my analytics through the actual campaign section so right here you'll see campaigns go ahead and click on campaigns and here is a list of current campaigns that are running we can see the campaign is currently running we can see the name of the campaign we have our budget which is how much we're spending per day and then we also have the status now these ones are limited by budget and all that means is that it's exhausted the daily budgets and on the next day it'll just reset so don't panic if you see that all right and here we have our impressions we have 307 million impressions for this adwords accounts we have nine million clicks and you can see that we have spent a little over two hundred thousand dollars for this specific account and if we scroll over here we can see our earned subscribers our earn likes a lot of these are youtube ads so we have recorded the actual subscriber base we have our engagement our click-through rates and then we also have just some more analytics over here it's actually very ironic or funny i should say this ad right here is a dynamic search ad and i'm gonna show you guys how to make that in the very next section while we actually created this ad for this specific tutorial someone actually bought something on our ecommerce websites you can see here we have eight clicks and we have a conversion rate meaning someone bought something here is the actual website that we're advertising this is my uh my coffee website copycoffee.com where we sell indonesian coffee and we are currently running ads on this website and someone actually bought coffee here's the actual order someone spent 152 dollars on this website through one of our ads so you can see that it's actually a real thing and you you know you could possibly make money it's actually very funny so this is our current website and we're going to go ahead and use this website throughout the video uh just to help you guys follow along with how to properly market your websites now one thing i do want to mention now if you guys are running adwords and i'll just be very upfront and honest with you and your site looks like crap people won't buy anything all right let me be very clear on that right you can tell from our landing page we spent a long time and a lot of work making a really nice landing page so landing page is essential for conversions if you have an ugly website no one's going to buy anything just remember that's now if you guys are newbs and you guys are using wordpress and you don't have any design skills i do actually have pre-made templates that you guys can check out on my website i'll go ahead and leave this link in the description below where we have designers making some really nice templates and these templates only cost like 20 bucks and it gives you like the full shebang like the home the sell premium templates to help you build beautiful websites all right enough selling all right let's go ahead and create an ad so to create your first ad let's go over here and click on this create campaign and click on new campaign and we're going to create our first campaign so here we have what is your campaign objective we have sales leads website traffic and product and brand consideration now in my whole career of using google ads i have never used any of these because these come with massive restrictions these are pretty much preset conditions for ads and it doesn't let you do everything yourself i want to be able to fully create my ad from scratch with no limitations so to do that we're going to select create a campaign without a goal's guidance now here we have campaign type now we're going to select search but let me just give you all like a little you know my advice and opinion about these other ones performance max is actually a really weird one i don't like it it combines the google search discovery and video altogether so it pretty much uses everything but i don't like doing that because it's a poor way to measure roi right if you're combining all these different ads it's very hard to measure performance so next we have display ad and we're going to make a display ad in the very next section and those are pretty much those big banners that you guys see on various blogs it's actually great for branding and there's also discovery which is a very low performing roi search ad and i'll show you guys an example of that in just a bit but first we're going to select search right here because we're going to create a search ad so click on search so next we have conversion goals and we're going to set up conversion goals a little bit later you guys should probably have maybe three here by default right i think google ads actually uses like three by default but not to worry i'll show you guys how to set up tracking a little bit later in this video so for now let's just go ahead and skip the conversion goals and go ahead and click on continue next it's saying what do you want from this campaign website visits phone calls app downloads it doesn't really matter because you guys can always change this later but i'll just go ahead and say website visits and put in my websites copycoffee.com and for the campaign name now here i recommend to put something that you can recognize right so for example we're going to do search dynamic and then copy all right let me go ahead and change that there we go so right away when i'm you know looking at this ad i know it's a search ad i know it's the dynamic ad and i also know it's for my kobe coffee website so you might want to organize this a little bit later because after a while you might have tons of them and it might get hard to read them so let's go ahead now and click on continue i'll go ahead and click on start new i have some have some in draft i was messing around with this earlier so the first thing is you're going to set your budgets and i always recommend to set day by date the reason why you don't want like a shared budget over a long period of time is because some days your budget might be spent all in one day and then the last five days like they just spent a little bit so i like to set a individual budgets right of around 10 all right next we have bidding so here we have conversions conversion value clicks and impression shares so impression shares is pretty much you know how many times people saw the ad clicks is when they clicked on it conversions is when they actually converted and conversion value which you have to have previous data for so we cannot select that but i'm going to go ahead and select clicks here because i want to get clicks on my ad and here we're going to select a maximum bid limits it's very funny you're always going to see these like warning signs from google saying oh are you sure are you sure just ignore them all right because the main thing is they want you to spend more money and i don't want to spend more money so i'm going to set a bid limit if you don't set a bid limit then google is going to recommend what you're going to spend and you don't want that to happen you truly don't trust me i have spent 19 on a click before because i set something to broad and i added no negative keywords and i used uh the actual um i didn't set up a limit so it was it was terrible it was it was bad so i'm gonna select something like uh 50 cents you know let's just get started with 50 cents right something that's you know that we're all comfortable with i hope so right 50 cents all right but again a cpc really depends on uh what you are offering right if you're a lawyer and you're trying to get clicks for 50 cents that's not going to happen all right if you are in loans or mortgage that's also not going to happen it's going to be a little bit more expensive but let's go ahead and go to more settings and here we have the add rotation now this i usually leave on optimize and this pretty much means whatever ad gets the best click-through rate they're going to recommend more and that's usually good because that means people have a tendency to click on that add more if you don't want that you'll click on do not optimize but for once i can finally agree with google and i'll say i want to optimize this where i want my best performing ads selected the most so go ahead now click on next now here we have search network and display network now before we go on any further i first want to educate you guys on all these type of ads and also what is the difference between a dynamic ad a search ad what is a search partner and also what is the display network all right so here we go now google search ads so google search ads are very effective you can display ads by keyword audience or location you can add more details to make the ads longer for more visibility these are also called site links and when you guys do create your ads i highly recommend to add in as many site links as you possibly can the more site links the better your ad is it's pretty much how it goes if your ads better it'll rank probably higher than your competitors so we're first going to create what we call is a dynamic search ad and i'll give you guys an example of that in just a bit but a google dynamic ads are dynamically generated headlines that target relevant searches based off the user's search okay so there is no keyword research in this specific ad dynamic search ad uses audience or interest to target and not keywords so for example if users are going to coffee whip that's all the time we can select those people that are going to those coffee websites and there is no keyword research involved with dynamic search ads let me give you guys an example here we have this ad called or we typed in cheap hotels in austin right the very first one is cheap hotels in austin so this is an example right here of a dynamic ad it takes the exact phrase the user searched and it dynamically updates it and puts it in your ad the odds here of getting clicked is a lot higher because uh the user pretty much typed in something where they can see on the ad right we're giving them exactly what they're searching for these ads have very high click-through rates so usually when you have dynamic ads they get clicked on a lot to be honest now let's talk about the pros of dynamic search ads they're very easy to make like if you're a complete beginner you can make one in like you know five seconds they're really easy there's no keyword research required you guys don't have to spend time going through spreadsheets and looking at keywords it's a lot easier better audience targeting so people who are interested right now in coffee we can actually target those specific users based off their you know their actions and what websites are going to rotate headlines and description dynamically for best performing ads so you guys can create like a few different headlines and descriptions and it constantly rotates those to find out which is the best performing ad so you know it helps with your your click-through rate now we have cons with everything guys we only have cons limited control you guys do have a lot less control with the google search ads the main reason why and one of the biggest drawbacks is let's say for example someone types in very expensive coffee well your ad might show up right because they're interested in coffee right but very expensive yeah i don't know you know that's we're still you know you might you might pop up there next we have negative keywords recommended we'll talk about negative keywords a little bit later but you guys can actually stop that so let's say for example expensive you can get rid of that or free or cheap or you know courses or community there's a lot of words that you can negate from your search so if someone types in expensive your ad will not show up so you do have some control but you guys have to actually go in there and you know and and add it in yourself can be unpredictable at times if key if negative keywords are not set so since it's actually very broad i mean yeah we're talking about coffee here but we can talk about coffee makers uh coffee meetups right coffee communities coffee education so if you don't set like specific audiences exactly sometimes you'll get weird results right so next we have better for larger websites a lot of large corporations with large budgets who really want to learn how to maximize their budget usually run these type of ads the main reason why is because they tend to be a little bit more expensive than normal a google search ads and below that cpc may be higher 20 on average so the the cost per click for these specific ad types they may be more expensive not necessarily but there is a small statistic saying they are usually more expensive now let's talk about the additional type of ad that we're going to run this is called a google search ad and this is what we're going to make right after we create a dynamic ad so here the user typed in best web hosting and we have the title of the ad some description and here we have site links and we also have call out extensions so these are call out extensions and these are also site links the great part about adding this to your ad is that users can actually navigate the website right here just by clicking on these ads the main reason why this ad is on top of these other three ads because these other three ads are not including any rich information right google will award the person who puts the most site links and the most effort into their ad versus other websites that really aren't doing much right so you can see that this ad is number one for a reason all right so let's go ahead and talk about google search ads google search ads use keywords in order to display the ad it offers various ways to show ads such as broad phrase or exact match we'll talk about those in the next section when we create the actual ad now the google search ad what are the pros if you guys use keywords you guys have more control over the ad right because you can pretty much target exactly what you want to target with keywords you can target broad audiences or more exact audiences you can also test and experiment keywords the great part about using your own keywords is that you guys can find out which one has the highest click-through rate so once you find out like the sweet spot of the keywords you can keep using that throughout all of your ads right because if you have one performing very well why change it right and you have more control over cpc so these are a little bit more cheaper and you guys can set lower rates there's also various options like for example broad match where you can pay just like five cents or four cents but then there's you know targeting like exact match which can be a little bit more expensive but the main purpose here is that you do have more control over it so next is what are the cons of the basic google search ad you can easily make mistakes and birth to your budgets this is a very common one a lot of people just set broad and their budget disappears never ever ever select all broad it's a very fast way to go through your entire budget you must do extensive keyword research obviously yeah you have to spend a lot of time to find the best keywords test and experiment keywords this can take time and money so next we have more control over cpc sorry i got that wrong that's actually uh that's actually a pro my bad my bad y'all and lastly we have cpc for some niches are very expensive this is true depending on what niche you're in the cpc can drastically change for example if you're a lawyer the cpc on average is like 10 plus just depending on where exactly you market yourself as a lawyer and loans and mortgages are also very expensive just be mindful about that this isn't the case for everybody but if you are in very competitive expensive niches with high profits your cpc might be a little bit higher all right and after this third section we're going to create a display ad now these are great for branding they display your ad on various websites search partners as text ad or image ads a great approach in order to create branding campaigns for new businesses or promotions now be very honest display ads are great you know we've actually converted off display ads they're great it pretty much adds banners all over the internet and it really gets the word out about your business here's an example of a display ad you guys have probably seen these uh on various blogs right so this is an example of a display ad and here is also an example of a display ad now for these specific ads we'll talk about the next section but i always run cpm which is basically saying how many times someone saw the ad not clicked it all right so you guys can you know we'll talk about that when we talk about display ads here we have search partners so display your ads on various partner websites of google this includes youtube amazon or other search partners i think they have like a list right i think there's like amazon youtube some google like the google article websites and just like they're close partners when we were creating the ad there's a little check box to select the search partners so this is what search partners are so here is an example of the ad itself right so here i typed in digital agency and this is an example of where ad may appear for the google partners so it'll appear on again youtube or you know some other really close website that they're affiliated with i personally don't like these ads too much because they're just really you know there's no image there's no video there's no interaction it's just text and people hate text right it's just like text who wants to read that you know i'm not gonna click on that right so get out of here all right so next we have shopping ads now in this video i'm not going to cover shopping ads that's going to be dedicated for a whole nother video and when i do i'll put that in the description but these are another type of google ads these display on various products on google search or their partners it's a good way to promote your ecommerce products but we still convert with just normal google search ads and next we have a discovery ad now i know this is discovery ad and this could be some sort of display ad but it really just depends on where google puts them right because this could have been a display ad but sometimes discovery ads may display on like third-party websites if you actually close those ads it actually tells you like hey this is an ad by google you know you can actually see this is not by google and lastly we have another discovery ad these have low rois but they're great for branding you guys ever check your gmail accounts and seeing you have those little ads right there that's a discovery ad right so uh yeah i hope this part helped you guys out hopefully you guys have a better understanding of where these ads what these ads are and where they appear alright so now you guys have a better understanding of these ads now let's go back to this so search network this will again appear on pretty much like youtube or amazon and i don't want that in my personal opinion it's always better to create a secondary ad specifically for display i never run google ads and display together because the conversion tracking gets mixed up and it's hard to tell which one converted from what so i'm going to uncheck both of these and we're going to create a display ad in the third section but for now we're going to create a google ad so let's go ahead now and scroll down and next we have locations now you guys can actually set specific regions in specific areas and you can also exclude areas let me give you guys a few instances on where this might actually apply to you for example right here i'll click on enter another location now let's say for example you guys are in las vegas right you're a brick and mortar store with a physical location you might want to you know target a specific region right so i'm going to type in las vegas and here we have a few options right las vegas nevada so we're going to go ahead and select las vegas nevada now las vegas nevada and reno nevada are pretty close to each other right so if you don't actually exclude reno sometimes your ad may appear in reno right because remember this is google with the machine and they're just you know they're guesstimating so if you are a physical location you might want to exclude the areas around your specific area just so that your ads don't show up in unnecessary areas so we're going to go ahead and select reno zarino reno right and instead of targeting we're going to exclude right so i'm going to exclude that one and we're also going to exclude california right so i'm also going to exclude california the main reason why is because california and las vegas are very close to each other and again i just saw my ads showing up in california so this is an example of how to target specific regions and also reasons on why to exclude them me personally i always exclude regions that are very close to whatever i'm targeting right so this again is for pretty much only brick and mortar stores now let's say for example you guys are a e-commerce website right with no physical presence you can just go ahead and say you know what i just want to go ahead and just target united states you know and leave it at that or if you want to target specific areas you can say all i want to targets nevada all right and here we have nevada which is the entire state so you can get as dynamic and customizable as you want when selecting locations now here we have advanced search and again this is more for brick and mortar and you can pretty much target specific areas right here like for example we have a 20 mile radius of las vegas right you can do this i have mixed results here because again the ad can display on areas that you may not want and the only thing that i've seen actually people use this for is events right so if you're having some sort of large event you might want to target a whole area around like a specific area because you know you want to target people 20 miles from las vegas maybe you have like a scary haunted house or something and you want you know customers you know something like that so that's an example of uh the advanced search and here we have location options so you guys can target people that have regularly shown interest in your targeted locations people that live in your specific area are people who are searching for your targeted areas uh it's really hard for me to say which one works the only thing where i've seen this actually has some sort of issues people having airbnbs right so people who are looking for airbnbs in specific areas don't necessarily live there but they're looking for it right so you might want to pick something here that you know applies to you but i would just leave these both as recommended all right let's go ahead and select languages here you guys can select specific languages so if you guys speak chinese you can say all right you know we must like the chinese and the the spanish and you know whatever you guys can select as many languages as you want this is actually tracked through google's browser so they find out what websites they're going to and that's how it pretty much determines what language they speak i've always thought it's mandarin right isn't i don't know why they don't have mandarin on here is mandarin not a language i don't know you know google says chinese but we've had this whole discussion before and uh yeah whatever but we're gonna go ahead and close these here and i'm just gonna say english only and here we have audience segments all right so let me explain here so if you guys are writing dynamic ads then you guys will have to adjust your audience segments if you guys are not using dynamic ads then there's no need to use audience segments because you're tracking people based off keywords so for this specific ad we're going to create a dynamic ad and we're also going to pick the audience segments now here we have some audience segments on the left side and these are people who have interest in these specific markets right for example we have web hosting domain registration web services email marketing services and so on and so forth so you guys can go ahead and pick categories based off people's interests technology you know for coffee you know i would think that's everybody right i mean we can pick developers web designers and also people who love coffee right i mean i think everyone loves coffee now you guys can also go up here and type it in coffee and then it'll give you a list of recommended groups right now let's click on browse right here so next we have a few audience segments and these are actually very important the first one is detailed demographics affinity in markets and similar segments but for these two you have to have previous data in order to use so we're going to focus on these three the first one is pretty much just targeting people based off their status right or education or their life events my honest opinion i don't have a lot of luck with these ads a lot of them barely even run so in my personal opinion i don't use them too much i have but i just get very low impressions however you guys can select people based off education or parental status or whatever you know you want right here the next one is affinity now affinity means people who have a common interest but are not necessarily looking right i love computers am i looking for a computer right now no but i have looked in the past right so i would be an affinity audience so it's generally people who have an interest in something but they're not actively looking for it right makes sense and next we have in-market now this is probably the best one to select in market are people who are looking right now for this specific product so for example if people are looking right now for coffee i want to select in market right because these people are ready to buy and they're searching for it and they're in the market for coffee right so here we can click on you know in market and then we have a few things to pick from right we have all these other you know all these different categories and stuff to choose from so me personally i find inmarket converts the best because it's people who are looking for it now that doesn't mean that affinity is also you know not worth it because i actually do run affinity campaigns as well and these do convert you know a lot of these do converts and you know these actually tend to be repeat customers they might not buy your product right now but they could buy it later right so i would you know have a combination of both and see which one works the best right google adwords is all about you know a b split testing and finding out which audience works best for you here i'll go to search and here we have coffee right now we have the audience segments and then we also have the in market so now you have a better understanding of what to pick right so i'm gonna go ahead and select coffee shop regulars and we'll select food and you know what coffee and espresso makers i don't know about that you know that could be debatable but uh i'm not gonna go ahead and select that but uh we're gonna go ahead and just take a look at these other ones but i think that's actually good right maybe we'll just do baked goods right maybe baked goods and coffee croissants you know we'll have to see how it does you know i can't say that it's not going to convert right and here we have target setting for this campaign observation and targeting now again this is another google's recommended thing no i want to do targeting the main reason why is because observation is going to adjust your bid to be higher sometimes they're going to say well if we increase your bid just a few cents maybe you'll get some more clicks it's like i don't want more clicks don't worry about it you know i'll exhaust my budget and we'll go from there so we're going to select targeting this will save you guys a lot more money all right so now that i have my audiences and i got my you know my targeting let's go ahead and click on dynamic search ad settings and here we're going to enter in the domain copycoffee.com all right we're going to use google's index on my website so they're pretty much going to analyze your website and give you suggestions based off what's on your websites here we have more settings you guys can choose a schedule now in my personal opinion the best days of the week i would say are monday tuesday and wednesday the main reason why is because people you know they're all going back to work on monday they get on their computer they get lazy they want to start shopping so in my opinion mondays tuesdays and wednesdays are the best and as the week goes down conversions usually get weaker and weaker but uh you know it really depends on how strong you make your ad as well i mean you can make it broad and get millions of clicks but that's my general experience sunday's not bad you know you can't get some quick sundays but monday tuesday wednesday and those are pretty good days so what i'm going to do here is i'm just going to select a start date and end dates right and then here we have the add schedule so like i talked about earlier we're gonna select monday through friday and i'm gonna do uh let's see we'll do seven in the morning to like uh let's see here we'll do i don't know two three four something like that yeah something like that some a little bit later in the afternoon where everyone's you know they're kind of tired they're all going home all right and we'll click on more settings campaign url options this does not apply to us because we are not using any third-party software all right and next we have keywords and ads now you guys might see this or might not right we're going to click a dynamic ad group you guys can also delete this right here and yeah so this is for the basic keywords but since we're using a dynamic ad we're going to go ahead and trash this and we're going to stick with dynamic ad group now we're going to go ahead and put in our url right here so say copy coffee.com and we'll click on add and once we do that we're going to scroll down and here is the actual dynamic ad now you guys can see i've already entered in some description so we have description one and we have description two you can see the the actual headline here is going to be dynamically generated depending on what the user actually types so whatever they type in there that's going to be our headline right so i want to add in some description we have the best indication coffee with the twist we serve premium premium arabica beans right something are crucial for ad success a lot of people ignore site links because it's a lot of work you know i'm not going to lie it does take time to you know go through all the extensions and fill everything out but the more site links you have the more exposure you'll get and also you'll get a better optimization score which leads to a cheaper cpc so i would highly recommend to add as much information as you can because google love detailed ads let me give you guys an example of what a sitelink extension is here i typed in hotels in las vegas we have the actual title of the ad description and these right here are site links right and this is another one this is another extension with phone extension right so there are various extensions right but this is an example right here of the site links so it's pretty much a directory of links from our websites so we're going to go ahead and add in a few just to get you guys started all right so i'm going to click on new site link extension and what is the first sitelink text well i want to advertise my what do we got over here we got we got wine coffee right so i want to advertise my kopi wine right so the best indonesian wine oh wait coffee the best wine coffee right and then we'll go ahead and add in some description so i'm gonna go ahead and copy this text and we'll go ahead and paste that bad boy in there all right way too much all right so yeah 35 characters guys not too much hold on let's do that one more time here all right paste it in there let's see if that's enough here we go just to give you guys an example right red grapes right and description two go ahead and enter another one all right the coffee is planted very high right and then you're gonna put the final url which is the actual link right so i'm gonna take the link here go back over here and paste it now you guys wanna add up to i believe four right four is the amount they give you and i highly recommend to go through every one of these the more that you guys add the better that the ad will perform resulting in a better optimization score resulting in a cheaper click all right site link two let me go ahead and enter in some text all right so i'm gonna go ahead and go to my other brand here and we're going to paste that in there right so there we go we got the wine coffee and we have the honey coffee all right so make sure to add more site links for better success we're going to go ahead and scroll down here and here we have sitelink url options again we're going to ignore this this is for third-party tracking software here we have advanced options you guys can actually set schedules for those if you guys you know want to do that the main reason why is because sometimes you might run out of it sometimes you don't offer it so you guys can actually run scheduling for your specific site links if you choose to do that all right and then i'll click on save and all right cool we got we got two right here awesome so we got two site links yeah but again again i would definitely recommend four so just so uh this is a good tutorial we're gonna go and add in four right something that i've already made now we're gonna go ahead and look at go ahead and put in a number here i'll put in their example number right and we'll go ahead and click on image extensions so image extensions are great extensions to add for your ad these are actually appearing mostly on mobile devices however i have seen these slowly start to appear on the actual google search our ads got disapproved we don't know why yet and this actually might happen to you and i'm kind of glad it did if this ever happens just try another image and you guys can actually contact the actual help and ask them about the image sometimes these will get disapproved for no reason whatsoever and if you let google know they might actually take a look at your account and they'll manually approve it this happens to me all the time where i have to tell them hey something's wrong with your system can you guys please approve it and they usually do all right but you guys can go ahead and add an image right here by clicking on new image extension pick an image and here i have quite a bit you know now if you guys don't have any images you guys can use stock images i believe they actually uh i believe they're actually like partners with some like some website i think they're partners with shutterstock or something yeah shutterstock right so uh let's go ahead and click on an image here let's click on this delicious coffee rights all right we'll go ahead and organize that how does this one look all right it's beautiful there we go and i'll click on save all right cool so there is my images so these again appear a lot on mobile but they are slowly appearing on desktop no units the type we're going to select brands now this is an events location or something else you'll select whatever applies to you but mine is a brand right so kobe coffee is a brand here we have price qualifier we have from up to an average i'll select from right and then you'll add in some description the url of the actual products and also for mobile devices you can give them additional urls so the best indonesian indonesian coffee and let's just say for example on marketing this specific product we'll go ahead and paste in this url right here right and we'll also paste it in there now i believe you guys have to add up to four i believe i think it says yeah you have to add at least four so if you guys do use this make sure you add four and the more the better right so that's an saying i have to increase the bid if this ever happens to you guys just go ahead and fix it you might see things that say you have to fix something however if there are recommendations do not fix it all right so do not fix recommendations but if it says that you have to fix something go ahead and fix it all right so i went ahead and adjusted my bid i actually just set conversions and i just let them decide just for digital purposes but again one of the biggest cons with the dynamic search ads is they tend to be a little bit more expensive right so just keep that in mind but i would use both to see which one works best for you so let's go ahead now and click on publish campaign all right guys well congratulations we have successfully created a google search dynamic ad here at the top except all we're going to do is just we're going to not add in the dynamic search so for example we'll put in 10 bucks right and we're going to select clicks and i'll click on next now all these other settings you guys are already familiar with so i'm not going to talk about them again obviously right but i'm going to go ahead and uncheck these boxes here and we're going to scroll down and here we have the audience segments in dynamic search now we're just going to go ahead and skip these the main reason why is because we now want to target specific keywords that we want to select so i'm gonna go ahead and click on next and now we're at the keywords and ads now you guys can get keyword suggestions by actually putting in the url of whatever site you want to advertise generally yours right so we'll go ahead and put in my website here and this is just a helper right you don't have to use what they're giving you but it's just a helper so i'll put in copycoffee.com and we'll press enter once you press enter it's going to propagate a list of keywords right and you know here's a list of some keywords that we can select so for example we have copy specialty gourmet coffee and all these other
