Apple picking in the Queen's orchards - Cambridge University medical student VLOG #07

hi guys welcome back to the channel we've just finished teaching for the day and we're about to go apple picking on this gorgeous September afternoon one of the benefits of being placed in the middle of Yorkshire butcher Norfolk diet one of the benefits from being placed in the middle of Norfolk for our placement is that we're only five miles away from sanctuary over estate which is the Queen's private country residence so we're hoping to get a glimpse of Queen Liz okay so we have arrived at the Sandringham orchards where we're gonna be picking some apples in our Hospital attire throw my bag and see ready visit I feel very wholesome each day that follows is one someone take the time [Music] here oh dear [Music] I'm real good we need to make sure that these apples have no worms and not a fan of worms I feel very happy because I'm in an orchard with my placement squad and they're the best West [Music] [Music] hello again so we've been to the apple farm we've been to the gym we've been grocery shopping and now we're just about to make apple crumble and dinner [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] okay so the apple crumble is in the oven we're preparing some other weird Apple berry sauce thing in the frying pan and for the next hour or so we're all gonna be working on on their own stuff I'm working on a presentation that Paul and I are gonna be giving on a psychiatry conference on Friday I'm doing practice questions as a situational judgment test which is an exam we have to take an exam in December I have a gastroenterology super-villain tomorrow so I'm revising some of my gastroenterology by doing some practice questions so yeah we're all just getting along with their own stuff this is quite standard in terms of what we do the evenings sometimes we play board games together or we work together sometimes we all have stuff to do so we just kind of sit in the same place in the kitchen and work through it which is quite nice it's quite social quite fun [Music] hi guys thank you very much for watching we've just finished our poor couple we were all feeling very sleepy it's been a great day if you like this video please subscribe and give it a thumbs up know now it is going so if you liked the video give it a thumbs up if you're new here please consider subscribing thank you have a great day good night good night
