what's that so when I first downloaded our studio onto this laptop I like to knit my are markdown documents to PDF I like how it runs through pan doc uses law tech and it makes these pretty and nice-looking PDF files I don't really use a lot of law tech features yet and I want to learn more about pure law tech but in the interim I do like the PDF look from our markdown when it gets exported through law tech to a PDF now I do have Luke's setup for a lot of these things I did have to do an additional install of some text live package for I think most fonts extra to go from markdown documents to PDF now our markdown documents to PDF I actually had to install yet another additional package the package I had to install was I have it written over there text live - law tech extra so text live - la tech extra downloading that let me finally knit my our markdown documents to PDF like I had installed tiny the tiny tech package I don't have a law tech on this machine but I installed tiny tech which is a minimalist law tech package in our that the guy who made our mark down he put it out there so you install a tiny tech it's supposed to work and just give you all the law tech you need but for some reason I'm not sure if it was actually the our studio la tech I'm thinking of or if it was just my our markdown files and I'm just trying to create them so let's just do test our MD and test let's just say I don't know hello world do a code chunk we're gonna say that X is 7x times 7 and then print X and then arbitrary text because it's markdown who cares actually I wanna make it bold because I don't know why all right we save and then we use the key bindings that are already in this system and larb so that's leader c which is comma so comma c to compile it I do think it was actually for this for compiling to here so nobody'd comma P to view that a preview it's not there so where is it oh because I didn't set the Y ammo so normally this will just go to an HTML which does work but it's the compilation so let me see if I go to back to the file go to the top G search and go up to the top and change the yeah mol to output PDF document normally this is all done in our studio automatically and I don't have to do this so that's why I'm confused ok there it goes okay so yeah the text live extra lot extra is what made this possible because it wasn't working now I could do this in our studio with just tiny tech and I could go to our studio and knit the document to PDF after already having the a tiny tech package installed right where are you there it is so I have the package installed and it and if I knit the document to PDF this will work but to just knit the documents out here if I was gonna run our markdown documents it was working for markdown but it was not working for our markdown I think that was because it needed the Tech extra so that's it Tech's live - law tech extra and that will fix your arm markdown compilation from the file straight to PDF through law tech and I think this is all just using pan doc so that's it that's it for our markdown to a PDF peace
