Tutorials? MySQL connection with PHP and Bash!

what's going on guys rude lanal here and um i'm bringing you a little bit more content i'm trying to show you some mysql database connection with php in this video and uh a little bit later on the video i actually tried it with object oriented programming um and that didn't really work out for me because uh i i'm not very good at oop yet i think i love that acronym oop that's so weird but and i really didn't think that was a good way to do to use it when you're trying to connect to a mysql database too because i mean the whole point of objects is so that you can you have a frame or like you have an instance that you can call back as many times as you want you can create multiple objects but you're never really going to do that with the mysql database i mean as far as i know a server administrator is only going to connect to his own his own server administration of like you know the mysql database so i thought it was kind of silly but i i tried to avoid that i showed another method in that and then after that i moved on to a little bit of some minecraft text processing because they have item ids in the game minecraft i don't know if you guys played or not it's a fun fun game it's a lot it's like it's a lot like a sandbox game when you go around you build stuff you kill monsters but i i really enjoy it i host i host a server on nullshell.com you can connect there it's since social.com is more of a web server um there is not a lot of ram and uh the server the minecraft server is gonna lag a whole lot if you actually play it but i'm gonna get more ram eventually trust me trust me on that one but other than that that's what i was working on the video i was trying to chop up some of the item ideas that you can use with the give command and uh on the on you're playing multiplayer and online stuff so i yeah i grabbed it off the wikipedia page you might see me doing that real soon i don't know if when it's gonna pop up it might have already i can't really watch the video i can't watch the video because kaden live um my computer is really not the fastest machine around so when i when i'm using caden live to edit these videos to speed them up and add my audio over them it is uh it is so slow when i try to play it back to try to play it back inside kitten live that the the time doesn't match up with when i'm recording and the time in the video so i it's just a big conundrum and i try to avoid it so uh back on task back on track whatever it is um yeah i was downloading it off the uh jeez i cannot think today i was downloading off the wikipedia page i think i grabbed a little bit out of there i think i just copied and pasted i would use links that uh the command line web browser but i don't know if i did or not actually i i really i'm so out of it because i tried to record a video just recently of me creating a script that will loop through a youtube playlist and download everything and i want to have that be content for you guys and i did it successfully from the command line and then i tried to build a script while i was making the video and uh it was a big fail like i was going at it for an hour and i still haven't figured it out it gave me so much of a hard time and i can't really think straight right now but other than that yeah i think that's all that happened in the video and i know that this is kind of silly because i'm i'm posting more videos about all the things that i'm doing now but i really should be attacking these tutorial videos the thing is i don't feel like i'm good at it like when i'm posting the videos uh i show you what i can do in these tutorials i mean is that good enough for you guys i watch all these other tutorial makers like the new boss and their metal x1000 for linux and stuff like those those are my shout outs i'm sorry i don't want to be name dropping or anything but uh those guys are really great and phenomenal in the videos that they do and i'm like man i can't do this this is just way too over my head it's not though i mean i i know if i keep pushing that i can make some really cool stuff for you but jeez it's crazy um other than that uh i'm gonna try and post some more content on those shells since i haven't done that i might put these code commentaries up these are still on youtube right now when i'm making this video and um i might do some game maker stuff i really want to play with some input boxes on there i haven't done anything with the gmgy suite if you've heard of that on my website nulshell.com i know that was a big deal up there uh and i'm thinking about making a forum uh but i want to make it from scratch i don't want to use like pro boards pro boards yeah yeah that's right pro boards are like uh yab yet another bulletin board bulletin v v bulletin yeah v bulletin that's what it is i think but i want to make it on my own with my sequel but i don't really know the best way to design that because let's see you have you have uh you have a field for you have a table for users for users that are registered and then you have another table that is full of categories the cat the form categories then you have another table that is boards boards that are in the categories and then inside the boards you have threads and inside each thread you have a post and each post corresponds with the user and it yeah i don't know how i'll be able to integrate that but i know php can do a lot of cool stuff with it so i'm sure i might be able to do it doing some work with javascript like i said i'm trying to turn that french project that i was working on into javascript i've been trying to avoid that recently i don't know i've been lazy i've been lazy i'm sorry guys but let's actually last last week just a few days ago i think it was uh the school that i'm that i attend actually was renovating over the summer and they're tearing down a building that i use and like the drama organization that i'm in uses so me and the crew went down there we tried to we tried to take everything out of there because it was a ton of stuff we spent maybe two days there and i got i got a couple s i got a couple scrapes i got beat up i didn't get beat up but i got some bruises some wood had fallen on me so my arm is a little bit of a mess but that's what that's keeping me busy there's a lot of stuff going on that's why i can't post so much content for you guys but trust me i'm trying i'm really trying i woke up today and i'm like hey man let's do something for these guys but yeah send me some questions i mean that'll give me inspiration just something to do i'm watching videos i'm trying to keep up with the community but there's just so much out there and so much we can you and i can do that sounds so cheesy but i'm running out of time here guys um 6 minutes
