hey everyone welcome to the first online video for the GH CHS math team Mod Squad arm I've decided to start doing a lot of things online to improve our efficiency and get a lot more topics covered in class one new change that being made is that problem sets are going to be assigned on a wednesday from now on and they're going to be due the following wednesday by the following wednesday so you can turn into me you can turn into rom you can turn to mr. chips by the wednesday after its assigned and we're not going to be over we're not going going over them in meeting anymore we're going to be going over them the these these videos so i'm going to be posting a video after the wednesday so that basically on thursday i'll be posting a video or wednesday night on how the problem set was solved so you can check to see if your answers were correct and so we don't have to go over it in class because the last time we spend on them in class the more time you can spend on doing topics that we have to cover AMC practice and all those things so um basically our upcoming year looking like we're going to be able to covering a lot more topics our big major exams coming up our contest the AMC American mathematics competition which most of you know about at this point if we qualify for that we go into the Amy and there's more rounds after that but we have to call for the MC for so there's only went to break homework based on the AMC so and the winter break homework is going to be 14 points for those of you who haven't been to the meetings in a while the team points are a gauge of how you're doing on the team how committed you are how much you're picking up the material and it is going to be scaled based on your grade level so if you're in a higher grade if you're taking higher level classes you know that's great but if you're in lower grade taking lower level classes it's not going to be against you but 10 points are basically a way to see who gets to go to the competitions because from now on the competitions are going to be selective they only allow certain number equal to participate like six students or for students and the only way to gauge who goes is to see who has the most team points so assignments going to posted during winter break problem set is going to be posted at you later tonight and today is a Wednesday it'll be due next Wednesday since we don't have school next Wednesday the problems has fur winter break we'll just be do via email to me or Facebook to me just your answers you know don't worry about your your work at this point but I'm going posting videos for the problem set solutions and interesting things that just come up so I'll keep you posted and thanks for watching
