hi i'm maya the science kid welcome back to my channel those of you who are new to my channel i love reading books and i do book reviews and science videos so that other people can learn and see other things that i've done that they haven't done yet so today i'm going to review one of the most famous book series that i know a lot of people have read and that book series is by far my favorite book series and it's the wings of thia series so a lot of people have read these books with a good reason because there are really good book series written and yeah just written there's no pictures by toy t sutherland and she is the author of other books as well but her most famous is the means of fire series which has over 15 books in it over 15 books that's like so many books and she wrote all of them okay so technically the series has only 15 books but then there's like extra books like legends books and stuff like that so they still count in my opinion so yeah she wrote over 15 wings of firebooks and the first one the draconite prophecy is about okay so let me start from the beginning so it's called wings of fire because it's about dragons which there's a dragon on the front cover and there are different kinds of jackets so yeah the dragons are like sort of based off of the elements there's mud wings sand wings um sky wings sea wings ice wings rain wings and night wings so i'm going to tell you a little bit about all of these dragons just a little bit cause i don't want to make the video too long but just a little bit so it actually writes them in here and has like a description abilities and queen and alliances so okay first there are the sand wing queen died and she left her kingdom to her three daughters and the three daughters could have just had a simple buy in the arena of which blister would have won but anyway so the three daughters are blister blaze and burn uh blister like this are in order from order order from oldest youngest blister burn and blaze so there is this big war called the great war or like the war no it's called the war of sandbank succession and it all the tribes almost all a lot of the tribes are aligning alleys with other tribes and with other tribes and those tribes are always with one of the three princesses so mud wings uh have thick armored brown scales sometimes with um amber and gold and gold underscaled large flat heads with nostrils and on top of snow the abilities can the their abilities are they can breathe fire if it's warm enough and hold their breath for up to an hour blend into large mud puddles usually very strong queen their queen is queen morphin [Music] they're aligned uh allied with burn and the sand wings in the great war so burn is in control of most of the sand wings so the sand wings are pale gold or white scales the color of desert sand poisonous barbed tail floor forks black tongues abilities can survive a long time without water poison enemies at the tips of their tail like scorpions bury themselves for camouflage in the desert and breathe fire and the queen since the death of queen oasis the tribe slit between three rivals for the throne sisters blade burn blade blister and blaze they're alive their alliances burn flights alongside side sky wings and mud wings blister is allied with the sea wings and blaze has the support of most sailings as well as the alliance as well as an alliance with the ice wings sky wings red gold or orange scales enormous wings powerful flighter fighters and flyers can breathe the fire screens queens queen scarlet and their allied with burn and the mud wings and the great war sea wings description blue or green aquamarine scales webs between their claws gills on their necks glow in the dark stripes on their tails slash snouts slash underbellies abilities can breathe underwater see in the dark create huge waves with one splash of their powerful tails and excellent swimmers the queen is queen coral and they're currently aligned with blister in the great great war rain wings constantly shift colors usually bright like birds of paradise prehensile tails can camouflage their skills to blend into the surroundings use their prehensile tails for climbing no no natural weapons queen is queen dazzling not involved in the great war sometimes it's called the great war comes sometimes it's called war of standards obsession ice wings description silvery scales like moon like the moon or pale blue like ice rigid claws to grip the ice floor forked blue tongues tails narrow to a whip thinned at to whip thin and can with abilities can lipstick can withstand sub-zero temperatures and bright light exhale a deadly freezing breath queen queen glacier alliances currently allied with blaze and most of the sand wings in the great war the last one is nightwings and they're super mysterious description purplish scales and scattered silver skin and scattered silver scales on purplish black scales and scattered silver scales on the underside of their wings like a night sky full of stars forked black tongues abilities can breathe fire disappear into dark shadows read minds and foretell the future so they're really mysterious and they're really powerful queen a closely guarded secret says no one knows who the queen is alliances too mysterious and powerful to be part of the war which is not really true but anyways so those are all the dragons and you've seen the pictures up top and the first book so each book in the whole series is from the perspective of a different dragon and this one is from the perspective of clay the mud wing and he's a special mud wing he's a dragon of the prophecy so this book is called the dragon of prophecy and the series each book has its prophecy they're like they share prophecies so the dragon that prophecy when the war has lasted 20 years the dragonets will come when the land is soaked in blood and tears the dragonets will come find the seaming egg of deepest blue wings of night shall come to you the largest egg in mountain high will give to you the wings of sky for wings of earth search through the mud for an egg the color of dragon blood and hidden alone from rival queens sand wing egg awaits unseen of three queens who blister blaze and burn two shall die and one shall learn if she bows to a fate that is stronger and higher she will have the power of the wings of fire five dragons to hatch on the brightest night five dragons born to end the fight darkness will rise to bring the lights the dragonets are coming so that's about these five dragonets clay um tsunami she's a seawink glory he's a rain wing and and starflight oh wait starflight and sunny who's a sandwich starflight's a nightwing and they are in the dragons of destiny and they're supposed to stop the war so they go out on a mission to stop the war and the first five books are about stopping the great war or the war of sandwich succession and eventually they do stop the war and those firsts first five books are so interesting because like each one is from a different perspective and they have to they've never been to their own houses they've been kept under a mountain for the whole for their whole entire life well up until they were six years old and then they have to go to each of their environments and try and find their parents so they go on a quest to find their parents and and hope that their parents can help them stop the war and they're also not too keen on stopping the war because they don't want to but they do they do so this series is i break it up into sections the first five books are one sec section they're about the the dragon dragonets of the prophecy and the dragon at some destiny and stopping the war then the dragon acts of destiny make a academy called jade mountain academy and the next five books are about these six children who go to the to the jade mountain academy and they have to go on a mission to to protect the world from some evil person who should not be alive and is not supposed to be alive but is alive so they have to kill him and then the next five books are about these dragons on a different continent and they have to save the world from this evil queen in this evil plant and that one is i think the most interesting and funniest section then of course there's like the graphic novels dark stuff the legends books the winglets the quad turn winglets or something like that and all of those we're written by 280 sutherland who is a very amazing author who wrote a lot of not a lot of books yes a lot of books but she also she wrote a lot of books but she also did a lot of things and she's very accomplished and she wrote so many good books so this video was one of my favorites because i got to review this series that i really like and it's really hilarious and so much fun to read that's the end of the video i hope you enjoyed it see you next time on my the science kid video and be sure to come back next week because i try and do a video every week and i try and publish one and i edit them and do them myself so i put a lot of effort into these videos and it's really fun and sometimes really difficult and stressful to make these videos and uh blue purple is that a word blue purple sounds nice super full [Music] dude [Music] bye bye bye bye bye i'm back here bye
