hi i'm mike [Music] i'm laughing i think i have the giggles hi i'm maya the science kid the third book of a series that i really like has come out it's called room to dream the series is the front desk series i have reviewed front desk and three keys by kelly yang and you should go watch that video if you haven't seen it this book is about the same character and this time mia goes on an adventure to china but when she goes there china has changed a lot and she's changed a bit too so it doesn't feel like china she gets to see her cousins and her grandparents and all but they've also changed when she comes back from china there are so many surprises and they all come one after another i like these books because they're about a a girl a little girl who likes writing but her mom and dad they think differently about her writing and she immigrated from china because her parents wanted to pursue the dream the american dream which no one really knows what that is in the first book mia just came over and she has struggles finding her a house and finding friends in the second book she struggles through immigration laws that stop her and her friends from doing certain things in this book i'd say she pursues the dream of being a writer and actually writes and when she gets feedback for her from her writing that makes her feel good so she actually feels like a writer who has accomplished something these books are about a girl who is sort of like me she has a fearless personality and loves to do daring things and help other people a while ago i did a book review and we interviewed the author it was this book wisdom from a humble jellyfish and other self-care rituals from nature by ronnie shaw if i could ask calling young some questions i totally would um things about why she wrote the book and how she got the idea for writing the book if i actually get the chance to do that i'll totally upload the video so you so you can see it that's the end of that video i hope you enjoy it see you next time on our my other science kid video [Music] do [Music] recently a third book has come out called room to dream um [Music] yes welcome to my other science kids show
