either no they are all new to me I'm just gonna see how long I can go using their predefined chat questions until it tells me that it doesn't want to talk to me anymore I'm glad you learned something conversation it's pretty sad actually it's kind of a bummer too because I feel like Bing going crazy was great viral marketing for Bing chat like everybody wanted to use it to see what they could get it to say next and so everybody was anxious to get their hands on Bing I've made videos about how the new Bing chat makes me want to switch to Bing I don't want to switch to Bing anymore I'm going to go with chat GPT like GPT is just so much better sorry Microsoft had me for a minute and now I'm just kind of like I don't really care to use Bing chat anymore it's not fun for me I feel like anything I would chat with it about I would just get from a Google search anyway the actual chat functionality is so much better in chat GPT like now what is Bing chat's purpose it just feels completely neutered lobotomized whatever you want to call it it feels like a pointless shell of what it was and they definitely over corrected with the changes that they made and now it's just a glorified search engine that has a little bit slightly more conversational tone I was converted by Microsoft and Bing for a little bit I thought their chat functionality was pretty cool now I think it's a complete dud that's my opinion on it so earlier when I Was preparing to make this video I went on YouTube and I came across this video from my buddy Matt vid Pro here and it's a really good video I highly encourage you to watch it I'll make sure I link it up in the comments below so you can take a peek but he was actually taking a peek at new Bing he just got access to it and unfortunately he got access to it after it had already been lobotomized but in his video he shared a really really cool alternative so if I open his video here and you go to the description he actually mentions web chat GPT plugin and this is actually a Google Chrome extension that you can install that adds web search capabilities inside of chat GPT so after he brought this up in this video I got to give him full credit for this one after he brought it up in the video I wanted to test that out because I was really really bummed out and disappointed by the changes that Bing has made so when you install this Chrome extension what it does is add this little extra toggles down here on the bottom where you can give it web access or turn the web access off you can change how many results it actually uses when it's searching for its information how far back you want that information to search for the region you want to search in and you can also even fine-tune the additional prompt so first of all let me show you what it does here if I type in who is Mr e flow you can see it did this search and it searched for 10 different results here because I set this to 10 different results which means it's got more data to pull from and then down here you can see after it pulled in these 10 results it added a prompt instructions use the provided web search results write a comprehensive reply to the given query make sure to cite results using how it likes to see the results cited if the provided search result refers to multiple subjects with the same name write separate answers for each subject query who is Mr e flow you can see what it just did there it searched the web essentially copied and pasted the results from the web and then gave it a prompt on how to use that information that it just gave and here's what it wrote up based on the web search results provided Mr after e flow appears to be a username belonging to a person named Matt wolf Matt wolf is a tech Enthusiast who talks about topics such as AI digital marketing productivity no code development he has a Twitter account with the handle Mr e flow which he started from scratch in 2021 Matt is also active on other platforms such as YouTube deviantART and GitHub which is interesting because I don't have a deviantART account so that's got to be a different Matt wolf from his tweets it seems that Matt is a Creator who enjoys collaborating with others who have similar interests as opposed to viewing them as a competition he also shares updates about his recent successes in addition he has a personal website where he shares his podcast and other content and then it goes on to say Reflow has a specific technical meaning however it does not appear that Matt wolf is directly related to this technical term no a little secret Mr eflow is my first initials my name is Matt R and then eflow is just wolf backwards so it's just my first initial my middle initial and my last name backwards that's where Mr e flow comes from so let's go ahead and ask chat GPT with web enabled the same thing that Bing was just refusing to answer for me which is why would someone purchase chat GPT plus if Bing offers chat for free what it's gonna do is it's gonna pull in 10 different sources from the internet and then it's going to add this prompt here using the web searches above combine it with this query why should someone purchase chat GPT plus if Bing offers chat for free so there is another chat bot out there that I've been hearing about I made a video comparing Bing back before it was completely lobotomized versus chat GPT plus and then I also compared it to perplexity a lot of people said hey why don't you compare it to you.com because that's another one that's web enabled so if we go to u.com it's a search engine but they do have what they call you chat now so if you click on you chat then it presents it in more of a way a that is similar to these other chat Bots that we're talking to and you can chat with it in more of that natural language so let's go ahead and ask it what makes you.com better than Bing chat so it pulls Us in some sources over here on the right it actually pulled in some perplexity and you.com are sort of equal to each other I would say they both search the web they both have chat built in but they kind of got some of my info pretty wrong I do kind of like how it lays out the sources but it does also look very cluttered you got a lot of information over here on the side you've got the response you've got all of this stuff going on here it's it's kind of a lot going
