good morning ladies and gentlemen today we're going to be lowering the gti i really don't have a lot of time here because i've got to go rent a strut spreader tool but i'm not taking the gti because i don't want to wait for it to warm up so we're taking the rav4 today here's the rav4 it's the v6 model which means it basically has a truck engine in this little chassis so this thing uh put it this way it's faster than my gti is stock so i don't know why this thing is so fast but when toyota was developing this vehicle they clearly did not care about how fast the car was but yes anyways we need to go get a strut spreader tool at o'reilly's but uh today is just gonna be a little bit of a vlog putting everything together on the gti not a full tutorial or anything like that i really do not know the whole process to be honest never put coilovers on a car before ladies and gentlemen we are almost at riley's and we're making great time too as you can see there it's like 1007 right now so we're making good time all right well that was a little bit of an adventure i went to o'reilly's they told me they didn't have it in stock and then i had to buy it because it wasn't on the rental program so i ended up going here and i picked it up all right so we got the tool that we need it's time now to put the gti into the garage and jack it up and get it on the jack stands and get the wheels off so we can start working on it [Music] all right i also wanted to show you guys this as you guys can see we actually fixed the exhaust and got the motors tucked up there and you can see uh they self-clearance themselves with the valence there so yeah it's looking good with that but uh yeah this thing is literally a monster truck so it's uh it's time to make this thing actually lowered with the bc coilovers all right so the car is now fully on jack stands as you can see and all the wheels are off did not take too long at all so now we can actually start working on the front suspension there and getting that off there are my konig hexaforms over there chilling and here is the suspension that we are going to be installing today [Music] tell the lovely viewers that that how do you hold a vlog in front it's good vertical just tell the lovely viewers that we did the front all right as you can see we got the bc racing coilovers installed [Music] guys we're gonna take a trip over to the next side as you can see guys matt just dropped his brand new product fresh out of the box drops it what a loser all right anyway back to the subject at hand uh we got this nice and snug in here now to the back i don't know how this works it's pretty shitty back here i can't see myself on the top i did this around the top of the spring look at this head adjustment on top of spring i i imagine these go here and we are done the installation [Music] and we're going to creep over to this side is that the and the final side beauty all right so i gotta be quiet here it's pretty late but we just took it for a test drive and so far so good everything is really nice rubbed once on the fender screw in the front but other than that it's looking pretty good i need to make a few adjustments to height and stuff like that but so far i am very happy these ride really awesome i'm extremely happy with my purchase and everything is going pretty well so yeah that's about it for this install thank you everyone for watching i'm matt pierce and uh i'll see you guys in another video
