hello hackers welcome to hack rank today I will be showing you how to use hack rank's code pair tool code pair is a live and collaborative code editor which makes your remote technical interviews very efficient to begin sign in to hack rank once signed in go to the code pair tab click on new interview you have two options either create a quick pad for a simple and fast way to create a new interview or the second option is to set up an interview this will do the same thing as before along with sending invites to both the candidate and the interviewer for today we will create a quick pad enter the candidates email address an optional title you will then be given a short URL which needs to be provided to both the candidate and the interviewer the URL will direct them to the login page where their interviewer signs in on the left and the candidate on the right we'll go ahead and sign in as the interviewer now we wait for the candidate great it looks like the candidate just joined we can also call the candidate from the tool or start a video chat we can begin by importing a question from our library on the left this loads up the question description and a code stub for the candidate the candidate can choose from among 30 plus programming Lang languages to solve the question and check out that syntax highlighting the input and output section at the bottom is the standard input and standard output that helps you run the code against predefined test cases or a custom input you can also type any notes and give them a thumbs up or down don't worry the candidate will not be able to see your private notes or the thumbs up or down after finishing the problem we can click here to start a new question once the interview has ended you can access the detailed candidate report on hack Rank and even play back the candidates code like a video code pair reports help you manage phone interviews with hundreds of candidates effectively by tracking the interview status thanks for joining us on our code pair tour and happy coding
