Alright, so in this book, Sophie Washington Code One, Sophie's school, Xavier Academy is having a coding competition with a cash prize of $200. So Sophie and her friend Chloe can't wait to enter the competition with their classmates Toby and Nathan, but it turns out that they didn't want to have the girls in their team because the boys thought that Sophie and Chloe are not that smart and are always focused on their clothes and shopping. Well, the girls got very mad so they wanted to prove to the boys that whatever boys can do girls can do better. So the two of them got their other better friends Mariama, and Velentina to join their group. But the competition rules said that every group needs to have 5 people and now Sophie's group only has 4. So they think that the girls could ask Rani if she could join their group because everyone knows that Rani always gets 'A' on all of her papers and might be interested in doing something new with computer programming. So later on it turns out that Rani joins Sophie's group. All the girls are so happy and they decide their team name should be Code One. So one day all the groups that were going to participate in the competition had a meeting about what you were going to do. Mr. Perrier who was the teacher said that every group had to make their own coding app. And they were going to use these drag and drop blocks to make it a little bit easier.
