I Built a Gemini Structured Data Extractor App with Google AI Studio

This is an app I built recently with Google AI Studio. It's called Gemini Structured Data Extractor and it's exactly what it sounds like. It allows me to go to any unstructured source. Like for example, I can take all the contents of this paper. I can paste it in here and then I can come over here and describe the kind of output I want to extract from the source. So I can say extract all the sections from this paper with one sentence summaries for each and then I can click on extract data. And then what I get is this very nice visual output with all the extracted information. And what's cool about this is that I can actually inspect the raw JSON that I extracted from the source. And then if I'm happy with this, I can click on export. And I just exported the data to my machine. as you can check out over here. So, this is a pretty cool flexible tool that I can apply to all sorts of things. For example, I could come over to an article like for example the AI 2027 article that recently came out and I can copy all its contents. I can come back to the app. I can paste it in here and I can say something like extract all the main headers of this article with the main insight of each. I can click on extract data and again we get a well structured output with all the information that I was going for. So this is a pretty awesome flexible tool and it's amazing that I was able to build this by quickly vibe coding this at the Google AI studio. The fact that I can actually use Gemini in the back end directly on the playground, it's a really nice feature. See you next time. Cheers.
