what is up guys my name is Darrell and today I'm gonna be reviewing the flat sum theme now if you guys ever kind of wanted to buy flat sum but you weren't really sure about it because you kind of want to know the features about it and you want to know what the page builder actually offers today in this review I'm gonna be reviewing the flotsam thing and showing you what this theme can do now guys I've been messing around with WooCommerce and e-commerce for years you know and the flotsam theme is the ultimate WordPress theme for e-commerce it does so much for your store and I'm just going to be going over some of the key essentials it does like image resizing and decorating shop pages check out pages and all sorts of stuff so the flotsam theme guys by default does a lot that you normally can't do with other WordPress themes for example you can totally have a customizable header right here and they have like pre-designed templates or you can just simply just like pick one of them you know choose a header that works for you and they also have this like really cool like you know these buttons right here that makes it really easy to sign up for your websites also you can fully customize the checkout page so for example right here let's say you have the checkout page and you're saying you know I don't like it too much with flats um you can kind of design your own your own checkout page and they have just great templates you can add more in the checkout page now by default guys WordPress teams usually don't offer this you know but flat sum is designed for e-commerce so again it's just some amazing stuff so I'll be going over some of these features in this review but first let's go ahead and talk about the page builder I'm sure everybody wants to know about the page builder because visual visual composer was used on flotsam about a year ago but flats I'm kind of moved away from visual composer because I realize it's not the best page builder and in fact I have always hated it and flat semester they're owned us builder and another really amazing thing about this is if you guys suck at designing websites which I do too they have a flat 'some studio so right here if I click on flotsam studio they have over 500 templates that you guys can add for your e-commerce websites and no matter what you're looking for these guys have it you know they have about us pages banners call to actions contact pages just amazing stuff I even have like grids right here so they just offer so much the I mean you can like literally import an entire ecommerce website from their home page the about Us page and contact page and just just use their stuff you know then charge the client ten grand or you know whatever you want to charge you know but let me just give you an example of how this works so let's say right here for my call to action I want to just select you know one of these call to action so I'm just gonna click on import and click on start and it's going to import that specific section and it's really fast so here I basically you know I I took the templates and then here I'll just do like an amazing sale and then I just click on okay save the changes etc and guys it's that quick and fast to make a website with flat some also if you guys like the full width page they also have that as well so in the options when you design this page you can have it either boxed or full width so a lot of their demos have the only boxed looked but you guys can make it full width that's what I first thought I was like I want the full width look they have it so right here on this gear icon I'm gonna click on that and I'm goes to my template and go to full width and voila now it is full width also you guys might be messing around with the templates quite a lot which I was - now it's really simple to get rid of all this all I need to do is click on the gear icon and just click on clear click on OK and that's it you can start all over again so it's really simple to make websites of the flat sum and the page builder is incredibly easy to learn I have a full tutorial on it in the description below you guys want to check it out but let's go ahead and keep talking about other features besides just the flat slim studio which is probably one of the most amazing features I've seen about flats um I mean they have over 500 templates that you guys can simply just grab and just you know check out you guys can preview it see how it looks and then just simply grab any one of their templates for your e-commerce websites ok so that was a quick preview of the flotsam Studio now I'm gonna talk about things that I love about flotsam and things that really stood out to me and saying this is amazing one of them is the image resizing now by default guys when you're using other WordPress themes the image sizing can be the biggest pain in the butt if something's like misaligned a little bit it's going to come out weird flotsam has the option to force the height for all your products now this is not the product page right here but this is the module itself now they have different styles that you guys can use so right here you guys can see the style of products so right here we have overlay we have shade we have just and the thing is guys these look really clean like these look like these look amazing you know like there's there's so much you can do you can add the description you can add the reviews you can take out the reviews you can put in whatever you want you can mix and match whatever you want you can have this animation fade from you know up the bottom like that really clean just just amazing you know simply amazing and if you're not using flotsam for your e-commerce website you're missing out because it's just a very clean theme and it's just it's so easy to use you should use it you know and people who aren't using it I could I get upset with them I'm like dude use this theme it has everything now also right here for images now right here you got some kind of mess around with the image sizing so right here we have like 75 cent or seven five percent two hundred percents and you guys can kind of mess around with this they kind of get what you guys want on your websites but the image sizing for this is simply amazing and then you can also change the width of its like that and you can also change the radius as well so let's say for example you kind of want a more circular kind of approach here we can add in a radius of a hundred percent and it's going to create that circle effect now you cannot do this without custom CSS so flats up noses and you don't have to use CSS you don't need any CSS at all and also we can have like the size you can change the size and here we can add in a quick overlay so here I'm I put in blue your blue right here and then maybe just like that you guys get the idea now that's a super ugly color but I'm just showing you the possibilities of what you can do with the flat some theme also you can change the text alignment you can change the size of the text you can change the font you can customize each and everything on the product section so also right here it says sale you can change the color you can change the text so there's there's no limits on what you can do with flat sum so it's simply incredible of the the possibilities and the combinations you can have with the flotsam theme so that is a quick little preview of like the product module that where you can add props on your front page now let's talk about the actual products themselves so this is my shop page and you guys can actually decorate and customize the shop page so here I just added like a slider you know something something quick and easy no this is quick and easy now we also have like the grid style where you can have like the Add to Cart feature you can have no Add to Cart or you can have the epic art on the picture so for example right here you see that we have the Add to Cart I'll click on this it's gonna change now the Add to Cart is actually on the picture and you can add the cart right there simple and easy so it's just it's really really amazing what you can do with this theme so next to say you wants to put it right there you know you can actually change it so now the Add to Cart is gone but you know I'm just giving you an idea of what you can deal with the store so if you don't want to add to cart you can take it out but I kind of like that's a cart you know buttons are clickable and people love to click buttons so I kind of want those buttons there you can show the categories you can show the ratings you can show the short description also for the sale level right here this little bubble we have you can change it to like a square so now you see like it's the square you can add it like a little bit differently so it's like in the actual box etc you can change the color you can change the font so right here you can change the custom fonts you can also show a percentage discount so instead of saying sale like you know a lot of boring WordPress themes you can put the sale percent of what the product is on sale for and websites like wish do that if you guys seen that website which where they sell those those Chinese products where they said like 99% off they do that on their app and their website so it's it's it's worth looking into you know you guys can also change like the categories you can do all sorts of stuff you can also this is a great feature right here so equalized image Heights so no matter what size the image is it's going to align them properly to make your site look amazing so if you take that out depending on your images it's going to come out kind of skewed but my images are all the same size so that not gonna be the case but for most beginners a lot of beginners actually used just all different image sizing because they don't know what they're doing and this is the cold reality of it all so the image height so you can kind of like you know make the image height bigger and smaller and you can list the product per page product per row it's just it's just limitless on what you can do with the shop page and you can also decorate it so you can build on the shop page so right here I added a slider you guys can add whatever you want use their flotsam studio stuff on your page you know their designs are amazing so that's just a quick example of something you can do with the shop page next is like I said the car page you guys can also add content like banners right here or you guys can build on this checkout page and guys you cannot do this with other WordPress themes I love Divi I think Debbie has the best page builder unfortunately Divi can't do what flotsam again I know I'm playing devil's advocate here but if there's something good if there's a good product out there my job wants to talk about it you know that's my job my job is not to play favorites it's not to be biased it's to provide the best value for my viewers right so I love Divi I think their page builder is amazing I would use it for any other websites but if I'm running an e-commerce website as of right now I would use flotsam because the things you can do with this you can't do this with you can't do this with Elementor you can't do this with beaver builder you can't do this with Divi but you can do it with flats um so here you can like add in blocks and if you watch my tutorial I talk all about blocks basically like their sections like we how we design the shop page you can do the same exact thing on the checkout page also the header the header is amazing you guys can add buttons here so for example right here we have button one button - you guys can even add a third button you can add social icons so here I'm a dragon social icons and the header is just so customizable it is amazing and I like the header or the The Presets you know I mean why work harder you know I'm just gonna just grab a preset and if you look at the the presets right here it's pretty simple on how they do everything and here like you can take the logo and drag the logo to anywhere else you want you can virtually do anything you want they also have a tutorial on it as well you can also modify it for the and also the mobile device as well so I know you guys might have been skeptical on flat sum it took me a while to use the page blur to fully understand it and to you know to realize that the theme has a lot to offer and I'm not a huge fan of envato I really am NOT but the developers on Novato when I see good development teams and I see really good teams and companies out there like flats um I have to recognize them you know as much as I don't like fire and vato just because I have my own personal reasons why I don't like Envato but the developers on it are incredibly talented and again some of the work they do is just amazing so if you guys are looking for an e-commerce theme I highly recommend the flotsam theme because the page builder is easy you can do image sizing you could customize everything there's no limits on what you can customize they have tons of templates and virtually I wouldn't see a reason to use any other commerce theme because of what you can do with flats um okay so I hope this review was helpful if you guys want to purchase the flotsam theme there is a link in the description of this female witch or I'm sharp or mush it was the thing called the shopkeeper a shopkeeper is not as good as this because a lot of the features with a shopkeeper you can't do with flats um you know you have to you have to throw in a tons of custom CSS and if you also go to Envato markets if you just simply go to Nevada market right here and go to their page right here and go to their section you guys are going to see that flotsam is the number one most sold ecommerce theme so let me just give you an example right here we go to ecommerce for WordPress their ties being a little weird CR here we'll go to e-commerce and I'm gonna go to best best sellers they kind of changed this little it's kind of weird and right here you guys can see flotsam it just has an overwhelmingly amount of positive reviews and also sales compared to shopkeeper shopkeeper is actually kind of you know they're losing stars but I'm sure it's it's it's a decent theme but I've used it before and it just nothing compared to the flotsam thing you can be so much more customizable with the flotsam theme also if you guys are using like elemental I love elemental unfortunately for e-commerce it's just not the best it's not really designed for e-commerce like it has the capabilities of e-commerce but it's not it's not designed for it you know there's its it's doable but it's like not the best Divi is the same way Davi it's an amazing page builder but it's just not designed for e-commerce flotsam is so that's why I purchase flotsam I use it and if you look at the ratings five stars five star ratings with like 60,000 plus sales so again it's a it's a really amazing WordPress theme just just get it now I'm telling you guys to get it all right so I hope this video was helpful and make sure
