SendOwl Review and Tutorial

hi guys Lewis here from Dorothy hacker and in this video I'm gonna give you a quick rundown of send out which is a shopping cart platform so first of all I'm in the products type here and I'm gonna add a product and what I love about Sandow is just how simple everything is the the UI is super easy to navigate as soon as you add a product here you're gonna get to choose whether you want to add a digital or physical product a service a subscription or a undal so I'm just going to click product here I'm gonna give this a name just going to call it name let's face $10 and I'm going to attach the file let's do a URL make this easier and of course if you were to upload an image an audio clip or a video send out would host those files for you as well they'll be behind a payroll so as soon as someone pays they would get immediate access to that media as you can see as well you can add software a physical product and redirect or drip I'm just going to go ahead with this and create the product right away you get your quick sell link you can share in social media and you can embed the button on your blog so that is how quickly you can get set up with sendo if you want to edit the product and click down here and you can change a name the price you can change the file and you can also open these Advanced Options here so you can press this guy let the buyer pay any amount they want you can do a single quantity limit a sales limit you can set the currency the download page folder redirect URL and if you wanted to edit the sales page you would just click here and this is where you will add your product image summary point you could also have a description with HTML and save that so again very very straightforward when it comes to adding products if we click into the orders tab this is going to show you obviously how many orders you have at the moment this is a test account I don't have any order so to the marketing tab this is where a lot of the magic happens you can add a discount essentially just a coupon so I can call this coupon I can say I want a fixed amount or five five dollars off and you can set a minimum cart value and you can also set some limitations here whether it's on the product limitation or a time limitation or how many times it can be used and of course you can set the code you can actually call this say five off that way you can remember your coupon code without having to go back in to send out so that's great like coupon next we have upsells this is probably one of the most popular features of any shopping cart if I click here I can add it up so give it a name and here is where you would select which product you want to use as your upsell also interesting here is the offer field if you change this to after payment that become day one click up so if you leave it on before payment while Sindel does pull it up so and technically is an app so it's more commonly referred to as a bump offer so it's nice that they've combined that and made it a lot more simple and user-friendly so we can create this ok now let's check out the affiliates that if you want to configure any of that stuff you can click this link here show all options and this is where you can configure things like the affiliate program name the how often you pay out your site URL and your cookie lifetime expiring all that good stuff this is where it happens so it's not going to blow you away in terms of features here but at this price point the fact that you can even recruit affiliates he's actually quite impressive going back to the marketing tab there was one more thing I wanted to show you which was the cart abandonment so if we click into that you can add a new action here and this will capture the email address of your prospect and follow up with them to make sure that you close that sale and this is again another fairly advanced feature that you wouldn't expect to see in a car at this price point I know I keep mentioning price but really when you compare it to something like sound cart which you need to $199 a month just to have the affiliate stuff included this is really a great deal so that's that's a brief overview of sendou I really like this platform if you're looking for a shopping cart on a budget this is definitely a good option for you and so I hope this video was helpful and I will see you in the net
