what's going on the off stage 17 of the hundred days of code challenge it's May 29 2007 teen I just had a cold shower I'm feeling alive I'm really excited because look at this went to this awesome coffee store the other day and got some grounded coffee too bad this isn't to smell campus smells incredible I'm going to work out how to use this thing it shouldn't be too hard and try now I'll let you know how it goes but what am i working on say all that you'd answer here today deep learning a bit of deep learning assignment I've got to analyze 27 seasons of Simpsons episodes and generate a new script based off the 27 seasons where the scripts of a teen and most happen using an RNN serve a recurrent neural network so that's going to be my task for today and I'll catch you soon so we were at 30 grams of this in here a little bit of hot water stirred it up and then added more hot water stirred it up again and then we're going to let it sit for about three minutes see what it turns out like all right moment of truth with plunging down to the bottom it's probably too hot to drink right now turn or to the other proper tapes we're back in a second alrighty so I got my favorite one of my favorite combinations in the whole world right now sparkling water black coffee it's been cooling for a few minutes so let's see how I did alright that gif ok good as and of course sparkling water in between each set I find it cleanses the palate so that every time you tip the coughing you get the full flavor and the true coffee snob would say but here's what I'm up to today going to be working on deep learning out of the green TV script generation cut the standing desk gone I try to do 25 minutes of standing up and then 25 minutes sitting down and try to interchange throughout the day only working on this release 2 to 3 hours and see how far we get check out how many tabs we got open right now plus the slack channel Oh day 19 what's going on it is 12:30 lunch time where I am 12:30 p.m. I'm still in my pajamas as you can see because I've been spending the last I don't know let's say three or four hours researching AWS WordPress hosting look at many tabs are your open [Music] I've been trying to find a way to set up Amazon web hosting to host a WordPress website that I'm looking at building and all the guides are found I sort of very complex including the AWS guide that it has it's for Amazon has for its own services so I'm trying to get my head all around it I'm completely new to this this hosting sort of thing but I will get there I need to have a break because I'm just kidding no where I'm doing deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole after I come back to the break I'm just going to start building something and see see what happens see if I can get this site up and running but yeah that's my main goal for today to get this site up and running so I can start building in only at the hosting down past so I don't have to worry about that in the future as long as the hosting is all good then I think the rest should come I look set up a stable my way of thinking is set up a stable foundation and then build upon that just keep building and breaking stuff like like Facebook's motto right move fast and break stuff so a few goals was a rise of Bernie dumb map it was supposed to be about a start-up venture application but I read the the Tizen sees wrong for this it said price not prize I thought there was a price for it rather than a price so I completely stuffed up there I thought I was an opportunity to win some money and a trip but the prize I was reading was actually a price so one single letter almost cost me a bunch of hours of an application that would have been funny I want to also do a video later today about what is machine learning in a podcast and upload some more of my YouTube channel and yeah get Emmy Jim online which is the website I want to start building which hopefully will allow access to any fitness facility around the world one day but we'll see how we go so that's what I'm going to be working on for after right after I eat something in the next couple hours and we'll check back in once I've made some progress hopefully I've made some progress in a few hours so this is about as far as I got setting up the Amazon Web Services server I managed to get nginx I'm not sure how to pronounce that managed to get a nga nginx server running as opposed to a I'm trying to run an le MP step whichever that means I'm not entirely sure yet I think it's Linux engine X MySQL and PHP going for an Amazon web server to host a wordpress site having beatifully get it yet I've been doing it for about I don't know three and a bit hours or so I can't remember how long did add 40-plus tabs open at one stage I've got a whole bunch of notes taken here on my computer about how to get it set up I'm going to take a break I'm going to go to the doctors and then I'm going to a robotics meeting at a university immediate later this evening so I'm really excited for that it's I'm they actually know what it's going to be about but there's I think there's going to be pepper the robot there you can you can probably check that out somewhere somewhere online it's one of the most advanced robots in the world at the moment and I'm really interested at the in terms of machine learning robotics and AI right now so I'm going to go find out more information see if I think my brother's coming on as well and we're going to see if we can get on some sort of robotics team and maybe build something who knows but this will be an antiqued for today so if I don't record later tonight I'll catch tomorrow but if I do I'll tell you how the robotics meeting went check out who I got to me tonight there's pepper the robot it's a humanoid type robot it's about this tall and it's kind of like interacting with a 10 year old child it's made by a Japanese robotics company called Softbank I believe and they've they've come to Brisbane they're setting up an office in Brisbane and they're a massive investment company and got shares and everything and whatnot and so I went to an event with my little brother to see see what's going on and it's actually really cool this robot you can program it to do different things and there's openings for 10 10 teams to get $15,000 with a funding to build something with it and so it was really cool like to try and think of ideas of what I could do with this application zone open June 5th think about applying but wondering whether it's whether applying to that will distract me from other things I don't want to do but who knows if I end up doing it all I'll catch you guys up but tomorrow I'm going to get back into trying to get this backhand serve it up and running with Amazon AWS and Ellie MP stack and what not but I hope they make a bit more progress than I did today I'll catch tomorrow hello everyone so we're at the 31st of May so the last day of May last day of meat free may I I screwed up a couple of days ago there was pizza at my friend's house in the Hudson me photo op it is day 20 of the hundred days of code series got a goal today to get the energy observer online update and medium series into a podcast our machine learning and picks up one of my YouTube covers or do a form of Doros here's the things I'm trying to say yes to and no to everything else I got a little brother here where we're going to do some yoga this morning I do the yoga session it's just pretty much in my room I've got this video on YouTube yoga with Adriene for 20 minute session this is going to be a good way to wake up we work out probably what half an hour ago today we're spending the day with me you're going to do some schools do some of your schoolwork and assignments and stuff like that but we'll see you next clip getting down to the ground and right away just set yourself up for greatness so we have a facelift practice that we're going to be actually doing when you are nice and fashionable when you're ready you put why you can't do that one as you trust Rebekah I'll do that pose yet but which other there's the other one Finn so how to play a few distractions during that session how'd you go where the specific group Kevin Damien motivation seven okay Kevin it's our dog and her name is seven we didn't name uh that the dad started vacuuming while we were doing yoga so not the most peaceful session but still good to get active in the morning my hips are really tight my lower backs really tight and I can only have check out more familiar with Adriana if you want to do I'm a free yoga session but I'm going to have a cold shower get into some study and I'll check back in with you guys soon once I've made some progress and hopefully getting this web server up and running check this out 3:30 p.m. hit my domain we've made it baby after about five to six hours of work I've managed to set up a complete back-end server for my site and right now it hosts nothing but it's simple HTML file but the server is up and running on AWS using slip no Ubuntu nginx MySQL and PHP I otherwise known as a limp stat my brain is fried I need to have a break I haven't even it's like 3:30 p.m. have been all day but the server is up and running I've got to work out how now some wordpress files in there so i can have something that looks a bit nicer than just a HTML site and then something that actually functions as a web site rather than just being some static test so that will be my next project I don't know if I'll be are bound for to it today but I will try and if I do I'll let you know but I'm going to get some food into fishel we've got online crossing that out now look at this is what I've been working on twenty individual sessions a total of eight hours 20 minutes but as you'll see the time is 10 12 p.m. I forgot to track the last few so it probably took me about 10 hours to get it fully up and running I'll show you on on any gym use energy calm on the PC on the Mac sorry but I'm logged in as WordPress admin so you'll enter to the admin site but if you go to any other device where I'm not an admin you see this constructions page under construction using the other construction plug-in at use any gem calm so this is my little project I'm working on not sure what the overall goal will be but it's just something I want to work on I set up the complete back-end server using an AWS micro instance as well as in a bun to server with nginx and a whole bunch of other stuff and now I'm sort of using a wordpress theme to build the rest of it but it's all running for free can take up to 11 million hits per day supposedly I haven't tested that that's just what I saw on the guide that I sort of used and I used a whole bunch of sites so I might eventually make a video of how to do it in the future if people wanted but I went through a whole bunch of guides got a free free server built by myself free SSL and all our paper was the domain now that's it and it's going to be free for the least the next year because of Amazon's free Terrier usage but that's going to be it for this this video I finally got it up and running use any gym comm check it out stay tuned I'm going to keep building it over the next few weeks and see where it goes but whatever progress I make I'll try and share with you guys I've got to go tomorrow do some my deep learning project I'll film a bit of that if I can and probably try and catch up on my machine learning projects as well as I've got a newsletter coming out tomorrow as well so sign up it comes out the first of every month it's called a few cool things to my website mr deburr calm a whole bunch of stuff related to fitness nutrition artificial intelligence technology and I limit it to about five or six things so it doesn't waste too much of your time but thank you so much for watching we'll see you the next episode have an awesome day
Original Description
It's been an epic couple of days!
I managed to get a complete backend server running on a LEMP stack using AWS. That was a big learning curve.
Say Hi to me anywhere, I'd love to meet you :)
