hello everyone welcome to your first image manipulation video today all we're going to do is simply download the software we are going to need to manipulate images so the software we're going to download is called Jes stands for a jython environment for students basically all it is is um python coded in Java with additional uh functions in Java which allow you to do uh basic image manipulation things such as access individual pixels and red green uh and blue values those pixels and so on um so I'll provide a link in the description but all you really essentially need to do is go to this website right here and download the version of J s for your operating system now make sure you get one of um these appear make sure it's version 4-3 because that's what I'm using um not saying that the other versions AR good I just haven't tried them out and you might be lacking some features that I will be using so make sure you get a 4-3 and if you click on it this will one's a zip you open it up and install on your computer that should all be really easy um once you get that set up um head over to the next video and we will be getting started thank you
