this was the first prototype please pass it around the top AR is for changing colors [Music] sh [Music] hey folks so this is a weekend in my life uh as an AI engineer tinkerer entrepreneur whatever you want to call it so started off with coffee and reading now I'm going to head off to the gym to get that workout G in and then today we have a Meetup planned in indan nagar I'm currently living in Bangalore and uh I discovered this group called HSR Hacker House and uh these are a bunch of hackers developers who are building something with AI or in general you know whatever projects these people have and the concept is very simple you gather around and you work on your own projects and by the end of the session you have to present it so it's very like action oriented so I loved the concept and really wanted to connect with a few like-minded folks so wanted to see how that goes I myself am building a lot of things these days so this will be an interesting uh and cool opportunity to connect and see what other people are doing and maybe collaborate or you know do a bunch of more things and with this Vlog you must be wondering how come this Vlog has come into the picture and showed up on your feed uh from my channel so uh this year is all about building with AI the theme I've I I left my job just to scratch my own Edge so I'm doing whatever uh I wanted to do so vlogging has always been uh there on my checklist let's see how that goes uh I wanted to see if I'm even capable of recording a vlog and uh putting something good out there for [Music] [Music] this is the post-workout smoothie after this I'll take a show and we'll head to the Meetup so I guess this is it join us for HSR Hacker House let's see so what is HSR ha house all about yeah so the hos is like a community of people we essentially meet every weekend and we just goor on our personal projects so we have a lot of people working on Tech we have people working on AI we have people working on design so the main goal is you just come you sit for like five hours and just work on yourself there's no networking there's no talking that you see it's just you works the end you talk about what you want and that's what we and is there anywh any links or anything that people can log on to to learn more about yeah we have like a website that's not really like fully fled it's like it's you can find us uh find out about us on HR hack. and there's also like a list that sort of showcas what projects people have been working on in the hackers as well how old is it like we've been doing it for around a year almost we started in July last year for and what's your vision for this like do you have is it going to be the same throughout the year or do you have any exper plan so right now no so I think it's it's only it's about just getting people who want to work on cool stuff together and just like just a place for that to happen I think that is no the only vision is that I was like I think we know what it shouldn't be like we don't want it to become another Network it's only going to be a place that people work on stuff that's that's pretty much it I mean if we get more like if we partner with more like locations and yeah if we if we so this this we had like around 80 applications for this this time but we couldn't accept everything so we had to say no to 30 people who wanted to ship so actually we don't want to say no to anybody who wants to ship stuff cap to the number of yeah so today we could only accept 50 people okay based on the yeah the size of and also like very huge sessions are hard to manage there's not a lot of quality happen so we want to have more spaces that people can ship and yeah that's that's the only thing that we focus on right cool loveely man be here subscribe to your channel no that's totally fine [Music] [Music] yeah I mean it's pretty basic it's not very too different from what other people do it's just a yeah it's just a if you could just educate me about your process it doesn't have to be a massive demo if you went through five web pages and that's what you did today but that's that's what you plan show that right just show people what you me uh don't right that's uh that's one thing uh this is this is one way to be accountable and show people what you're building and demos is like 1 minute long so the thing is that I got bored with technology I'm like all of it is buil for productivity we don't need more of that the bottom line doesn't care you'll all die all of that use technology for building fun things absur is starting with lightsabers we want to build lightsabers because we have the tech this was the first prototype please pass it out the top Artic for changing colors this was the second prototype this basically remove the bottom body to make it more secure all the electronics come into this everything is 3D printed everything is made in Bangalore so pass it around this is the second one that one doesn't have a mode button this is the newest one it was made 3 days ago and this was made as a part of the build space toy thing like they said build a toy so this is the closest one that will come to you as a product this is the one that I basically building the Shopify store for today 100% Open Source Products all the specs software and Hardware are open source [Music] [Music] that's a wrap and started [Music] GRE oh looks yum these are some Lotus stem crests too good too good right so back home after long day but uh an interesting and uh you know eventful day uh learned a lot there are many people who are doing very interesting building really cool shed got to know about uh few very interesting people who have left uh you know jobs uh which were paying them very handsomely and then they left all of those things and started doing something of their own because they found that you know there's something to be built uh here uh in this particular field so yeah uh I will be wrapping up now uh uh my day I have a bunch of things to close I was working on a script uh writing you know a new video have to go through a few research papers close on those details then uh watch something on Netflix and yeah wrap it up um we'll go to bed soon after so that was a weekend in the life of an AI engineer or tinkerer or a builder I would say okay I'll see you guys in the next one until then keep learning keep building
