You have more than 200 devices connected in this home. Why is growing Samsung's ecosystem important? Yes, it's very important because we care about whole home experience and for that you know we need not only Samsung products like you know TVs and appliances and mobile products but we also need you know lightings and others like cameras and stuff because with all those together we can provide really great experience to our customers. >> Samsung has many partners when it comes to connecting these devices though it's not only about Samsung products. Yes. So we have over 380 works with Smart Things partner brands and thousands of their products can be connected to the Smart Things platform so that our users can have great you know smart home experiences and not only that you know we are working very closely with many industry leaders on this uh IoT standardization effort called matter and so any matter better products then can be also connected to the smart things platform so that users can have you know like mix and match of smart home products for the best experience >> for the best experience not only for your existing users but also you're trying to attain new users through this how does Samsung measure the growth in this segment >> that's a really great question so uh with this matter and many of this uh industry partners uh making great smart home products, we see the market grow by like uh like 2x every year and you know with those and our ecosystem partners you know we grow our user base. So as of today we have over 400 million registered users for the smart things service and you know that number grows or you know year by year. what are your brightest markets at this point? >> So, you know, obviously the US uh has the biggest market for us and followed by Korea and you know many of the European countries like UK and Germany and such. the India market also a lot of people and young couples uh they you know need some way to also take care of their home and you know they they they use of this home camera is growing very rapidly there and also you know with this uh you know advancement of techn like a devices and this connected products I mean people are and then with the AI technology people are just it's very natural for them to adopt this new techn technologies and especially in the emerging market because you know the first products they they experience they're already smart products and so they're the barrier to sort of entry is I think is even lower there >> is there a barrier of entry when it comes to all of these interconnected devices when it comes to price though >> what's the socioeconomic target right now >> ah so right now so our target is um you know we we start with a bit a fluent uh segment of our customers first because like you said you know it uh you know it has to add uh some cost for that but you know for uh but we believe that you know with the technology that we have and then wide uh portfolio of products that Samsung has we can democratize you know that to many people >> in the smart home experience you very much focus on wellness as well >> what are some of the features that Samsung has added added recently that can help in managing your health as well. >> So the thing is in the past you know we sort of focused on with the you know smart home technologies we focused on you know ways to make it easier for you to manage your home like a home security and managing energy and stuff. But with uh but in but lately we are more focusing on you know using our technologies to better take care of household members in the home and those include your dogs and cats. You know the pets are part of your family and also yourself right your well-being and you know and also in the home you spend most of time like sleeping right. So for us you know how can we use you know our AI technologies and then connected products to create the best uh sort of environment while you're asleep. That's sort of something that we really are passionate about and also we are working very that one we are working very closely with Samsung health
