do you really need to have some certificates on your resume to get a data analyst job first of all let's try to understand why the hiring manager needs certificates they would like to see that in order to filter out candidates and select one but nowadays it is possible for anyone to get a certificate online and it does not become a differentiation criteria anymore if at all you're doing a certification try to do the one which is hard to get which is not something that everyone does for example Microsoft data analy certification is one such it is not possible for everyone to do that you would have to have some level of powerbi skills to do that so consider this when you're doing a certification and also share this with your friends
