sentence the person was never sentenced and he's dead now but this well you know black dahlia was murdered and it looked like the the the it was surgical precision her murder so of course immediately anyone with medical training would be suspicious and there happened to be someone with medical training who knew her and he was even like recorded in his office saying if i did kill her no one would be able to prove it because my secretary is dead he said something like that um would you know this yeah this sounds like an innocent something an innocent person would say right but it like it gets even worse because this man eventually he he moves out of the united states and he goes i forget where he goes he goes to another country but then a month after he moves to that country a woman turns up dead with her body in the same strange state that the black dahlia was found murdered in like identical identical murder one month after the person who the suspect moved to a different country a greenhouse right and it's always really warm in there even if it's cold outside and there's so many plants it's like a jungle and the humidity is really high usually [Music] yeah the smell is really nice too it smells like dirt and plants [Music] yeah i actually do have some plants i know i said before that i don't have a green thumb but i wanted to improve so i actually do have some plants now it's going okay some of them are doing better than others but i think i don't know i learned having plans you just have to do a little bit of research and then you'll be okay because before my problem was i wouldn't actually like look up what the plant needed i would just water them like whenever i felt like it which you should not do but yeah i used to have like succulents and i would water them basically every day and they didn't have proper drainage either so the roots would rot and they would die but now i know you don't do that you can't just do that and also drainage is super duper important so i have them in like their their nursery pots but then inside of another pot and then i just water them in their nursery pots and wait for all the water to drain out and then put them back in their pot so that they don't they don't die brothers and thank you alex thank you oh i met you too at the meet and greet let's go philip thank you what's my favorite thing i ate in france so when i went well i went with a group right and i was the only vegan so um we didn't really go to any like vegan restaurants or anything we just went to really regular restaurants and this was a long time ago too and i don't think france was particularly vegan friendly at the time maybe it's better now but yeah i didn't eat very good food um i ate a lot of salads which are not my favorite thing to eat i don't know if they're anybody's favorite thing to eat but i remember them like bringing me a salad and it was like just lettuce and tomatoes and dressing and that was my dinner and everyone else like eating my pasta and stuff [Laughter] but yeah i think yeah a lot of french food is based on like cheese and butter so i don't know i the food was not the highlight of the trip for me [Music] yeah but i think if i went back now i would be able to go to vegan restaurants and stuff and hopefully eat better food [Music] i really liked breakfast though because breakfast okay although everyone else's breakfast was way better but i got to eat like a baguette and fruit and like jam and peanut butter for breakfast every day which was yummy but everyone else got like pastries and stuff which is definitely better but i mean baguette is still pretty yummy yeah like a fresh baguette too also i eat a ratatouille that's well i think we can have butter in it sometimes but it's just like veggies that was yummy maybe that was my favorite thing or just the baguette i also remember getting a sandwich and it had butter on it and i i didn't want to cause a scene so i just ate it sad but i was like sad about it [Music] i like tried to order what i thought would be a vegan sandwich but it ended up having butter on it and i was like oh and i just ate it and i was sad about it in life sounds far too hard it's a lot easier now i also didn't really know what i was doing back then and also like in a foreign country where you don't know things that well and also you're with the group so you don't get to go to um restaurants that specialize in vegan food or even like more vegan friendly you know i don't know back then like people didn't really know what vegan was like you really had to explain it to people back then now i think most people know or they have an idea at least but yeah back then people had no idea they thought that it meant vegetarian um which is a fair understanding but yeah you really people like didn't get it back then things are a lot easier now [Music] yeah way more options i mean we live in the world of like impossible burgers and beyond burgers back in my day we didn't have those we had like a black bean burger which probably had eggs in it so you can't even eat that probably pecking minding i don't know it's a lot easier these days which i'm very grateful for mushrooms work as burgers oh yeah but that's my somehow when people put like the whole portabello mushroom head inside a burger bun that burger is not my friend tvp and lentils all day i love lentils lentils are yummy tvp i don't eat that often but it's good too depends how you prepare it though lentils are good and they're really healthy too like a lentil soup or like a lentil doll or like ethiopian food have you ever had ethiopian food there's some ethiopian dishes that are like lentils i forget what they're called but they're like spicy spicy lentils they're really yummy yeah ethiopian food is really good i like it a lot i recommend it if you haven't tried it it's interesting too because you eat it with this spongy sour bread called anjera and you it's usually like family styles you have like a bunch of little dishes and it like sits on top of the bread and then you eat it with the bread with your fingers yummy [Music] oh and they have like um these lentil pastries too well some of them have meat inside but some of them are lentils and it's like this pastry shell it's kind of like um a samosa but it's flaky pastry yeah like sambusa that's what's called right and it
