what's going on learners and welcome to my learning intelligence be logged series or in other words a V log series where I document myself created artificial intelligence master's degree first of all why am i learning about artificial intelligence well not only is AI slowly creeping its way into every industry in the world right now but it fascinates me and I think that's the most important piece that's why I'm learning it is because I'm truly interested in it and I'm truly interested in using it as a tool to bring value to the rest of the world so how am i learning all this well I've created my own artificial intelligence master's degree and now it's not official or anything but my goal is not this certificate at the end of a degree my goal is to get the skills that are required to use these tools or use artificial intelligence as a tool to bring value to the world I want to combine artificial intelligence with my knowledge of health and fitness and help the world move more and eat better to start off with I'm going through - these artificial intelligence now the degree program that will form the base foundations of the whole thing and then following on from that I've stitched together some other online courses that are sort of the cutting edge in terms of artificial intelligence advocate education as well as this book here which is like the Holy Grail or the equivalent of the Bible for artificial intelligence check it out artificial intelligence our modern approach by Stuart Jay Russell and Peter Norbeck and then of course a whole bunch of other resources like sludge rivalz videos if I said that right Siraj revolve is amazing you gotta check him out I'll put the links in the description to all this stuff by the way and then various other books and articles and online anything I can find online essentially I just didn't want to go back to university and you can read more about it in the blog post I put up on medium and that will be in the description too so let me show you a bit of our room where am i learning it's all happening from here that's my standing desk this is like a yoga mat a large yoga mat that I stand out spend most of my time here learning taking notes in Evernote as well as pen and paper traditional and we come over here this is a long side Trello my personal assistant whiteboard I try to get at least eight Pomodoro's three per day if you're not familiar with the Pomodoro Technique it's essentially a 25-minute uninterrupted block and my goal is to do at least six to eight of those on some sort of learning per day because I find after that the learning it's the law of diminishing returns anything after a six to eight Pomodoro's for me it's the learning the retention is just not there where can you find out more well most of the stuff about me is on my website mr deburr comm otherwise feel free to email me at any time daniel at mr deburr comm my youtube channel your honor or twitter and anywhere on social media my you handle it's always at mr. d burke so you can find me there otherwise leave a comment if you'd like to see anything else and what can you expect from this series well i'm going to be doing weekly vlog videos I've already got a few up that you can see so this is sort of like a Star Wars equivalent like I'm doing episode zero after doing episode two which is kind of backwards but hey it works how can you help out well first of all if you subscribe to my channel that'd mean the world to me I'm trying to bring out one of these videos at least every week as I said before otherwise leave a like in the video so the YouTube algorithm can shoot them out to the rest of the world and if they're not bringing your value leave a comment how can I improve for the next one I'm doing this every week so I'd love to implement your feedback implement your advice otherwise I've got a patreon page I'll link that in the description as well you can throw in a dollar per month and help me out on this artificial intelligence learning journey I want to bring you along with me let's cause a ruckus
