if you have a pizza restaurant there will be one person responsible for collecting raw ingredients such as vegetables cheese flour Etc once they are collected you will bring them to a pizza restaurant and a chef will clean them cut the vegetables into pieces and prepare a nice pizza here the chef is data analyst or data scientist whereas the person who collected the ingredients is a data engineer I hope this analogy will help you choose the right career as a data analyst you'll be mainly doing descriptive analytics whereas as a data scientist you will be involved in building machine learning models
