what's up everybody so I have a couple of big announcements that I wanted to share with you guys and I thought the best way to do it would be a visual way so I've got a couple things coming out that I think um are very exciting and I I want to share with you guys so the first one that I want to announce is that we're doing a Zero to Hero practical Network penetration testing course I'm going to be doing that over live stream with twitch so the last few weeks if you've checked out the YouTube channel you may have noticed that been posting hacking live streams which are mostly focused on hack the Box we did a little bit of vul Hub and reverse engineering um but I thought that we could do something more so really what I wanted to do is I wanted to take a course concept that was take a a complete zero who doesn't know anything really about hacking or maybe even Linux or Python and bring them up to speed on what it might take to be a junior level uh penetration tester especially at like a network level so what I did was I came up with this course plan and I'll link this down in the description below basically what we're going to do is we're going to we're going to cover pretty much everything that I can think of and we're going to do it weekly so every Wednesday at 8:00 we're going to be 8 o'clock Eastern I should say we're going to be doing um a lesson so some of these lessons might group into uh the the time frame that we're in so I I'm planning going until like 10:00 and then doing Q&A afterwards so we may able to get some of these in uh into one week and then some of these might take multiple weeks I'm hoping to get this course done somewhere between 16 to 20 weeks uh so what we're going to start out with is we're going to start out with setting up a pen testing environment how to take notes effectively talk about some of the legal things um like Rules of Engagement other paperwork you might need to know and then we're going to dive into the fun stuff this is probably the boring stuff uh the fun stuff we're going to do Linux python we're going to cover the hacking methodology and then we're really going to dive deep and we're going to cover um external penetration testing we're going to cover internal penetration testing we're going to set this lab up ourselves as we go and um at least you'll be able to follow along you'll see why things are vulnerable and how we can patch those so there's a red and a blue aspect to this uh and it's mostly going to focus on active directory because most networks that you're going to pentest are active directory we will have a little section on what to do if you don't have active directory um exploiting non-active directory environments down here um but the meat of the the whole course is going to be focused on actor directory so with that being said if you do want to catch this and you want to sign up we're starting next week um you can catch it on Twitch which my twitch is the Cyber mentor and I'm going to link all this down below so don't have to worry about writing this down or anything um if you come into here and you miss something say oh you're busy that week or you're in a different time zone different country that's okay if you click on videos you can see all my past videos here so these are the P three of course I'll always upload my videos to YouTube there is a day delay on that because of twitch policy so we're going to go ahead and upload to both and by the time this is all said and done even if you don't catch any of the course work uh when it's when it's going live there should be a repository of information right this whole course will be laid out and it'll be a something that you should be able to go through and and learn on your own if you ever need to reference something back the videos are going to be there um so that's really awesome a couple things to touch on too while we're here uh We've hit 2,000 subscribers actually up to 2,300 overnight really great stuff guys I mean we grinded the first 1,000 it wasn't that long ago that I had a thank you video if it's somewhere in here um where I was saying thank you for you know my first thousand subscribers and the second thousand that just came through came through so fast and it's all because of you guys um you're sharing me you're you're putting me out there and I I really hope that I'm delivering and keeping up for you guys so thank you so much uh for all the love and and same thing with twitch we're up to 700 followers this is awesome um so the last thing I want to share with you guys is the the new website that I built out so it's the Cyber mentor.com you can come here and if you scroll through I've got my twitch the YouTube if you want to contact me I have a Twitter and I also have a Discord Channel we're about 150 people strong right now if you're interested in coming and just chatting with me or getting a notification kind of uh when I'm live on Twitch because I while I do stream every Wednesday I do just chill on Twitch I play some video games listen to some music and you guys can ask me anything cyber security related that you want or anything at all if you really want to um so if you scroll through here you can see that I've got my twitch Channel if it goes live my past videos uh same thing with YouTube I've got one of the more recent ones up um and all the Social Links down here if you need to contact me for any reason um my email is info the Cyber mentor.com or you can use this contact button right here there's also a subscription down below if you want to join my mailing list the mailing list for the next at least 16 weeks is going to be primarily focused on the course as I'm going to send out um reading material or or homework or things that you should study prior to or after a lesson um so if you're interested in that please do sign up I think we've already got 100 people signed up for the mailing list that's awesome um and then if you come through here a little bit about me my blog vetc which a lot of you guys know me from um some of the courses that I've done on YouTube past streams and just just Etc on there so I do encourage you to check it out and um just just keep providing love I mean you guys are awesome so um it's been really great feedback and I really do hope that you guys can grow with me as we have already and and turn this into something bigger so if you have any interest in this uh please do join me weekly if you can't make it um please do consider watching the the video on demand if you want um so thank you so much again appreciate this thousand here's to the next one and I hope to catch you on the next live stream so thank you guys I really appreciate it
