hello thank you for taking the time to view this presentation my name is Tai and I work for adaptive limit I'm going to be showing you in this presentation how using scrum values and practices during production will benefit your organization the traditional method of production assumes that we begin the project with a hundred percent clarity of what we want or need from the product and that no changes will be required that may improve the functionality or make the product more valuable a specification is written up front and then we tell stakeholders how expensive it is to change anything particularly as a project's production goes on using scrum changes occurring throughout production are accepted and expected the scrum team works in a series of time-boxed sprints that usually aren't longer than four weeks and that allows detailed requirements to emerge and evolve as the product is developed the development of the product is inspected at the end of each sprint during the sprint review in this event any member of the scrum team or stakeholder can provide feedback on the product or any obstacles to his delivery this allows the scrum team to react to these obstacles before they escalate and become more difficult to deal with scrum provides multiple opportunities for inspection and adaptation during each sprint by empowering the product owner to represent the customer and wide of stakeholders the product is delivered with the focus on providing value to the organization and the customers delivering a working product early and frequently increases stakeholders trust in the team's ability to deliver a high quality working product and encourages them to be more deeply engaged in the project by breaking the project down into manageable plain box prints the project team can focus on the highest possible value supporting the product development with good engineering practices such as TDD or continuous integration ensures quality is built in by producing frequent boats and conducting testing and reviews during each generation quality is improved by finding and fixing defects quickly the ability for requirements to a marriage and evolve and the ability to embrace change help ensure the scrum team built the right product which delivers the expected value to the client it is all too common in more traditional projects to deliver the finished product and find it is not always expected needed or hoped for in agile development the emphasis is on building the right product that will deliver the desired value and benefits upon release with fixed known costs of the scrum team per sprint the cost of delivery is transparent to all the focuses on delivering value early and releasing to the customer as the product is developed this reduces the total cost of ownership small incremental increments of a working product are made visible to the product owner and the scrum team throughout development this allows him to directly address risks instead of managing them the active involvement of a product owner the high transparency of the product and progress and the flexibility to change create a much better business environment and client satisfaction also the active involvement cooperation and collaboration within successful scrum teams makes for a more enjoyable place to work when people enjoy what they do the quality of the work will be higher and the possibility for innovation will be greater happy and motivated people are more efficient more effective and are more likely to stay within the organization thank you for viewing this presentation I hope it is giving you an understanding of full production methods could perhaps be improved within your company and see the advantages of using scrum to achieve an agile way of working we are providing professional strong courses in many cities across the UK throughout 2019 and also offer on-site consultancy and mentoring to help implement what was learned at one of our courses into the workplace you can visit our website send us an email or pop in on social media helping your company achieve agility is only a short conversation away you
