This course is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain's significant impact on a company's financial performance and how utilizing data and optimization techniques can drive cost savings and strategic decision-making in today’s turbulent business environment. Our course has three main goals: • First, you will learn how supply chain management serves as a powerful lever for cost savings through effective management of products and services flows, information flows, and financial flows. You will learn optimization techniques to facilitate strategic decision-making to manage these flows along the entire supply chain. • Second, the course explores how supply chains can mitigate risks of today’s turbulent times through operational flexibility and aligning incentives between supply chain partners. You will learn how to develop collaborative and global strategies which benefit the entire supply chain. • Finally, the course highlights the potential of new technologies for supply chain management. Here we are also in an age of turbulence, with advancements in computing power and communication speed rapidly yielding new and innovative technological solutions. With the foundational understanding of the supply chain and its potential for optimization, you will be equipped to creatively adopt new technologies in your own supply chain.
