So the day can actually change based on the database. The second portion is actually the data format. When I ask you to get something or I want to store something, what am I giving you and what am I taking back from you? And this is where really a database can shine. It's it's it's the core of any database system, the data format. So for the longest time databases has always been tables and rows and columns and to interact with these rows and columns you use the SQL language right to query it. So when people designed the database back in the 70s or 60s even right they they thought about it always is hey it's always going to be tables and always going to be rows and always going to be columns and then the application can build on top of it right we built it bottom up if you will that's one data format right but then people challenged this people came in the 2000 era and says wait a minute why do I have to be really fixed to these tables I don't what my application has nothing to do with tables right as the web evolved as the as the evolution of the web right came in and JSON and documents really I want to deal with docu
