The video provides tips for passing the Practical Web Pentest Expert (PWPE) exam, focusing on understanding vulnerabilities, analyzing front-end code, and identifying issues in modern applications.

Full Transcript

Here are three ways to help you conquer the practical web penetration expert exam. Number one, the exam is all about understanding how vulnerabilities work and what they give you. So build a mindset of what's next. What does this behavior give me access to and how can I use it to abuse the target application? Second, don't neglect the front-end app. We can find out a lot about the structure and intentions of an application just by reading the front-end code and uncovering things like roots and services and maybe even some weak client side controls. And finally, focus on issues that we find in modern applications. The exam is based around a team transitioning from a large monolithic application to a number of services consumed by a single front-end app and the issues are based on realworld findings that scanners often miss. If you want to find out more, then head over to certifications.tcm-sack.com or check out the link in the description. Good luck.
